Lead:
Leftovers
Moves:
-Toxic
-Confuse Ray
-Protect
-Dark Pulse
Ability/Nature:
Synchronize/Calm(+SpD -Atk)
Tactic:
I lead with Umbreon. I poison the opponent, then confuse them. I then do damage with Dark Pulse and Protect to keep the poison going. I keep using Protect and Dark Pulse (vary between the two) until they faint.
Annoyer:
Leftovers
Moves:
-Substitute
-Swagger
-Thunder Wave
-Foul Play
Ability/Nature:
Prankster/Impish (+Def -SpA)
Tactic:
Reallllllllyyyyyy cheap tactic, I know. But it works and i'm a noob so it's really handy for me :D
I use swagger or thunder wave (depending on opponents type), and then the other one i didn't use first and then I go into substitute. As long as I last in substitute I keep hitting the opponent with Foul Play until my sub breaks and then I go back into Substitute.
Attacker:
Choice Specs
Moves:
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power (Water)
Ability/Nature:
Levitate/Timid (+Spe -Atk)
Tactic:
There isn't really a tactic with my Gengar, his main purpose is just to be an attacker and attack. I chose his moves of all different type and made sure there were a few 100% acc ones. I chose Hidden Power Water because I don't have any water types or water type moves on any other of my Pokemon.
The Spiky Tactic Thingy:
Leftovers
Moves:
-Giga Drain
-Toxic Spikes
-Spikes
-Rapid Spin
Ability/Nature:
Sturdy/Bold (+Def -Atk)
Tactic:
When I send him out I use 1 Toxic Spike and then just spam with Spikes until i'm not allowed any more, then more Toxic Spikes until i'm not allowed any more of THEM. and then Giga Drain to get back health and do damage. I use rapid spin when someone has set up spikes or stealth rock on MY side.
Wall(I think):
Leftovers
Moves:
-Seismic Toss
-Wish
-Heal Bell
-Protect
Ability/Nature:
Natural Cure/Impish (+Def -SpA)
Tactic:
Honestly, I don't know what the hell to do with Blissey, but my friend who showed me competitive battling said she was good so... idk. But what I'm doing with her is bringing her out as a defensive mechanism, healing and stalling whilst doing damage with Seismic Toss. I don't know if this is the correct way to use her but so far she's not been that useful...
2nd Attacker:
Charizardite X
Moves:
-Solar Beam
-Dragon Pulse
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
Ability/Nature:
Blaze/Timid (+Spe -Atk)
Tactic:
I added Charizard to the final position of my team to once again do damage just like Gengar, I couldn't expect Gengar to do all the damage since he had no healing moves or leftovers so I needed a 2nd attacker and thought Charizard would fit it perfectly :) I made sure again to have every attack a different type and some with 100% acc. And so far he's proven to be really useful.

So there is my team, bear in mind this is my first ever team and I started competitive battling yesterday so I'm still trying to get a grip of the basics but I'm getting there :D I'd love to have constructive criticism and you can be as bossy/mean as you want xD ! There is also loads of room for improvement so if y'all could direct me down the right paths then maybe I could become really good at competitive battling :)
