My first try with a 5th gen. team

Hey Smogon!
I have worked very long time on this first 5th gen. team, and it's finally finished.

I'm happy with the result, but i'll like to know your opinions and if i can do something better.
So here is the team:

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
Nature: Impish (+Def, -S.Atk)
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 S.Def
-Stealth Rock
-Leech Seed
-Protect
-Power Whip

My physical wall
I'm starting to set up Stealth Rock, if i get a good matchup.
Leech Seed and Protect is for stalling the opponent and give some recovery at the same time.
Power Whip is for some offence and is a powerful STAB move, however, a bit risky with accuracy.
The opponent will be hurt bad if it touches Ferrothorn, since it has Iron Barbs and Rocky Helmet, and that really helps out on a defensive pokemon like Ferrothorn.

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Timid nature (+Speed, -Atk)
EVs: 252 S.Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Dragon Pulse
-Dark Pulse
-Surf
-Flamethrower

One of my two special sweepers.
I've chosen Timid nature, so i can outspeed as much as possible.
Hydreigon covers my team well with it's moves.
Dragon Pulse and Dark Pulse is for STAB, and Flamethrower and Surf gives good coverage against Bug and Ice who are super effective on Hydreigon.
I wonder if i should run Life Orb, since it can surprise these opponents, who expects a Choice Hydreigon.

Volcarona @ Lum Berry
Ability: Flame Body
Nature: Timid (+Speed, -Atk)
EVs: 252 S.Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Bug Buzz
-Fiery Dance
-Quiver Dance
-Psychic

This is my other special sweeper.
It's typing gives my team more variation.
My general strategy is to use Quiver Dance and then try to sweep.
It's Lum Berry stops Paralyzing and Sleep, so it can at least use Quiver Dance one time, and make itself a tough opponent.
Fiery Dance and Bug Buzz is powerful STAB moves, and Fiery Dance can increase Volcaronas S.Atk further.
Psychic is for some coverage against Poison, Fight and other Fire types, who resist it's STAB moves.

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Jolly nature (+Speed, -S.Atk)
EVs 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Waterfall
-Ice Fang
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake

This is my physical sweeper.
I've chosen Jolly nature, so i can outspeed as much as possible.
As with Volcarona, i'll use Dragon Dance and then try to sweep.
Waterfall is Gyarados' best STAB in my eyes, and can flinch the opponent.
Earthquake gives some good coverage against Electric types, who really wants to hit Gyarados.
Ice fang gives coverage against Dragons and Grass type, which can be really useful for my team.
Life Orb is to deal some extra damage.

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
Adamant nature (+Atk, -S.Atk)
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 S.Def
-Mach Punch
-Rapid Spin
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake

Mach Punch gets boosted by Technician and removes the threat of Scarf Tyranitar and Excadrill.
Stone Edge is for Flying types, who would like to switch in on Mach Punch.
Earhtquake is for further coverage against Fire, Electric and Poison types.
Rapid Spin is a must, since i have Volcarona on my team.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Adamant nature
EVs: 108 Atk, 200 Def, 200 S.Def
-Taunt
-Sucker Punch
-Pain Split
-Thunderpunch

This Dusknoir can Taunt the opponent to stop setting up, and make sure, that Sucker Punch will work.
Taunt works well with Dusknoirs High Defenses, since it can take some hits.
Thunderpunch is to hit Gyarados and is my only Electric move on this team. It also gives some coverage against other Flying and Water types.
Pain Split is for recovery, and works well with Dusknoirs low HP.

So what do you think of this team?
Rate and fix :D

NICE BRO:) FINALLY GOT YOUR STUFFZ UP

Okay
Let's get started with this

Minor Things
-Everyone expects a choiced Hydriegon, however, I'd recommend Choice Scarf instead of Specs for revenge killing purposes
-I'd recommend Hitmontop lose the special wall status, it's outrated at that by a lot of mons, a technitop would fit your team a lot better
-I'd recommend Eviolite Dusclops to be utilized instead of Dusknoir.

Major Threats
Scarf TTar

Scarf Tyranitar runs through your team like a hot knife through butter, once hitmontop (if you decide to run technitop) and hydriegon are off, Tyranitar can just stone edge through your whole team, and crunch to death your Dusknoir, which is a 50% chance OHKO after Stealth Rock, and it's not like Dusknoir can do anything t counter it unless you stuff Will-o-Wisp in (which, btw, I recommend)

However, all the bad shit doesn't end there, imagine a scarf ttar... with an EXCADRILL. This thing, in turn will be smiling after hitmontop (if you decide to run technitop) and Dusknoir are gone. One SD to scare your Choiced Hydriegon away, and you might as well ragequit.

Solutions
A simple solution to a very difficult problem would be technitop with this set
Hitmontop @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 Atk / (who gives a shit)
-Mach Punch
-Who cares
-Who cares
-Who cares

And that will solve all your problems b4 you can say, NICE! Just Mach Punch away to KO these two guys

An alternative would be Gliscor, who completely walls those two guys too, you can even setup in their faces while roost recovering, best thing that's ever happened to sandstorm haters. (and the worst thing that's happened to sandstorm lovers like me)

Hope I helped :)

Hey, thank you! It helped a lot ;)

Yeah, everyone expects a choiced Hydreigon, i have thought of that.
Maybe a Life Orb would work on Hydreigon? It could surprise people who would like to switch in on Flamethrower and Surf.

I can see the problem with Scarf Tyranitar and Excadrill, so i would like to run a Technician Hitmontop with Mach Punch :)

Thanks for the advice :D

What about this Hitmontop:

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
Adamant nature (+Atk, -S.Atk)
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 S.Def
-Mach Punch
-Rapid Spin
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake

Mach Punch gets boosted by Technician and removes the threat of Scarf Tyranitar and Excadrill.
Stone Edge is for Flying types, who would like to switch in on Mach Punch.
Earhtquake is for further coverage against Fire, Electric and Poison types.
Rapid Spin is a must, since i have Volcarona on my team.

Will this Hitmontop work on my team?

Works great, with that, you should have close to, if not perfect coverage. Your EVs are great, except that I'd recommend the 4 SpD EVs into Def instead since physical attacks are a lot more common.

I have changed my Dusknoir set, since the Taunt/Sucker Punch strategy doesn't really work for me.

My Dusknoir now looks like this:

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Adamant nature (+Atk, -S.Atk)
EV's: 108 Atk, 200 Def, 200 S.Def
-Shadow Sneak
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
-Thunderpunch

Since my team is pretty offensive, I need a defensive pokemon like this Dusknoir.

Shadow Sneak gives my team more priority, and can be a crucial move.
Will-O-Wisp is a great support move that serves my team well, since it stops physical attackers.
Pain Split makes Dusknoir harder to take down, and works well with his low HP.
Thunderpunch is for hitting Gyarados hard.

Will this Dusknoir work on my team?
