My first UU Team

I wanted to make a UU Team because Blissey, Skarmory, Cresselia, Scizor, and Lucario were just plain annoying to fight. I went on Shoddy and played a some games. My record is 25-15. I need some help.

The Lead:
Ambipom@Life Orb
Adamant(+Atk -SpA)
Ability: Technician
EV's:252Atk/252Spe/4HP
Fake Out
U-Turn
Payback
Brick Break

I chose Electrode as my lead because I can taunt most leads and prevent them from setting up. Thunderbolt for STAB and Explosion for the big bang. 180Spe EV's to reach 397 which outspeeds most Salac Users, 200Atk to OHKO Claydol, and the rest are put in SpA.

The Special Sweeper:
Yanmega@Petaya Berry
Modest(+SpA -Atk)
Ability:Speed Boost
EV's:4Def/252SpA/252Spe
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
HP Ice
Substitute

I chose Yanmega because I can OHKO most things after a Petaya boost. The EV's are simple.

The Tank:
Mismagius@Choice Specs
Timid(+Spe -Atk)
Ability: Levitate
EV's:252SpA/252Spe
Shadow Ball
HP Fighting
Thunderbolt
Trick

Standard Sub CM set, nothing creative about it.

The Wall:
Umbreon@Leftovers
Sassy(+SpD -Spe)
Ability: Sychronize
EV's:252HP/6Atk/252SpD
Yawn
Wish
Payback
Baton Pass

Wish passer nothing creative either.

The Physical Wall:
Registeel@Leftovers
Careful(+SpD -SpA)
Ability: Clear Body
EV's:252HP/100Atk/156SpD
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave
Explosion
Iron Head

I chose Registeel because I needed a Stealth Rock setter upper. The Ev's are to let him wall better and the Atk is to have him deal some damage.

The Spinner:
Hitmontop@Leftovers
Impish(+Def -SpA)
Ability: Intimidate
EV's:252HP/200Def/56SpD
Rapid Spin
Close Combat
Foresight
Toxic

Standard Spinner set.

This team has mostly walls and stalling with Toxic then getting their special wall taken out for a Yanmega sweep. I want to change Hitmontop and Umbreon though the others are changeable too.

HATE RATE STEAL

Thanks for reading.

why would milotic ever switch into an Electrode?
Yanmega cannot beat Chansey... and you lack a way of weakening it/ crippling her. I may post more later, but you will likely get help from others before I get back. What you should do is think about what each of your pokes DO for the rest of the team what pokemon they will draw into a match(like the Electrode comment). and what beats your sweeper and how you can better aid your sweeper with the pokes that are supposed to beat it (registeel and chansey are big examples). This team seems as though it was made without those thoughts at the forefront of your thinking, and they need to be.

Just some quick things, I don't have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, but I read it and saw some stuff I absolutely HATED.
Electrode: A suicide lead, pretty much. The speed EV should be a little higher, to outspeed the likes of Swellow and Hitmonlee. Go with 228 EV's to outspeed those. Take them out of the SpAtk, you won't be using ThunderBolt a lot anyway... HP Grass is not optimal. HP Ground is much batter to take out the likes of Steelix and Aggron.

Yanmega: Great pokemon, even has been OU for a while. HP Ice is fine, takes out Altaria and puts dents in any bird that comes to pick on Yanmega.

Steelix: No hates, just praise. I like the Umbreon/Steelix combo. Just wanted to say that.

The team seems fine, but a Yanmega sweep by lowering your HP is very risky with Stealth Rock absolutely EVERYWHERE. Maybe think about a ChoiceSpecs set, or if you're afraid of the 1-move lock, a Life Orb set with Roost over Substitute.

I changed Electrode's HP Grass to Ground. I changed Yanmega to Reversal Yanmega but what item should I put on it? Anyother comments?

Okay so I have an hour... lets take a look at what you got here and see if I cant help you out some.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Electrode-
he is not really a good lead. He really needed SR, Spikes, or a slight buff in its offensive stats to be a good lead; he failed to recieve any of these. When I see him as a lead in a match, I usually don't expect much from the rest of the team to be honest.
WHY?-
Think about what he does? The answer should be largely nothing... He brings no help to a team other than a fast, uselessly telegraphed taunt, and relativly weak explosion. His taunt will often be useless as most people should know to attack with their roserade or what not and then switch to something to absorb the explosion (stellix who is pretty common for example laughs at electrode) OR simply switch and wall you if they dont want to risk you exploding first turn. Almost no Crobat uses Hypnosis... as brave bird then becomes illegal so it wont be staying in for fear of Thunderbolt. So your not really doing anything except asking a bulky rock or steel type to come in and force you out.
I SUGGEST-
You take him out... Hes not DOING anything for you. The most useful thing he can do is threaten an explosion, but heck a Steelix lead could do more than that for you by setting up SR (thats a bad example, but you know what Im getting at). Electrode lasks offense so his explosion is going to barely be more than a nick on dedicated walls, or it will simply be wasted when they send in CM missy.

Yanmega-
An alright sweeper to be sure. However as it stands your team is not really trying to make it easier for him to sweep. A reversal vaiant is still not going to be beating Registeel or defensive Altaria, so you need a way of crippling/ killing it before you attempt a sweep.
I SUGGEST-
Mostly that comes later... For now, I will say revert back to the old variant as then extremespeed, fake out, suckepunch etc. wont automatically ruin your plan of sweeping. (though they still may, I think your bulky enough to take one or two of the hits but Im not doing damage calcs so Im not 100 percent)

Proygon 2-
Pory is more useful in Standard IMO than in UU... I guess its okay for TR and weather team, but other than that its largely useless.
WHY?-
What is there to counter in UU with its own ability? Arcanine can mixed attack so intimidate wont help. You cant BEAT chansey so Natural Cure is not helpful. Flashfire doesnt help you and flashfire sweepers still beat this poke just fine. Pure(or Huge)power, obviously is of no help. Marvel scale wont help you beat the poke that has it. You still wont be outspeeding swift swimmers so its not helpful there...
I SUGGEST-
you drop it. Plain and simple. You have an umbreon AND a Steelix who are more than capable of sponging hits. I would place Missy here to be honest. It lets you be immune to 2 common types Registeel (and umbreon) is weak to. A trickspecs/scarf variant will probably be of most help in getting a sweep off with Yanmega. Espeon actually does the best job in this spot because it draws IN Chansey instead of forces it out, BUT you need an immunity to fighting if BOTH of your walls are going to be weak to it...

Umbreon-
Fine, though Im not personally a fan of curse and prefer Toxic myself, but it works.
I SUGGEST-
you max its Sp. Def. and give it toxic as it then is an amazing counter to CM missy.
Altenatly, if you got with Registeel use Yawn over Curse or Toxic so you still have a pseudo phaze move.

Steelix-
Mostly fine.
I SUGGEST-
Dropping Explosion... You have Umbreon for wish support, so Steelix could stay alive for a while. I would actually like to also suggest Registeel in place of Steelix to help with physical waters like Azumarril that you dont have an answer for.

Hitmontop-
Change the set/ spread to this:
I SUGGEST-
run 252 Hp/ 200 Def./ 56 SP. Def.
Foresight
Close Combat OR Brick Break (personal preference mostly)
Rapid Spin
Rest/ Toxic
- This lets you use Rapid spin eveon on Ghosts... its pretty obligatory if your sweeper is as weak to SR as yours.

The above link is a very good example of what you seem to be trying to do. HeYsUp is one of the better players on the boards, and in my eyes one of the best at UU. use his team and these suggestions as a guide to figure out how to let your Yanmega sweep better. I couldnt find the actual rmt, but it at least shows you his team and how it works.

I would also suggest changing the CM set to a trickspecs set to helo cripple a potential switch in(like Registeel) as it is also a counter to Yanmega. You will likely force out Chansy so you need a way to beat it still.
