My First VGC Team

This is my first VGC team, so it is probably a little rough. It is sort of a Sunny Day team.

Lilligant @ Heat Rock
Ability: Chlorophyll
Nature: Modest [+Sp.Atk/-Atk]
EVs: +4HP / +252Sp.Atk / +252Spd
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam
-Synthesis
-Quiver Dance
Lilligant is my lead and with a base speed of 90 and the ability Chlorophyll it doubles during Sunny Day. With Heat Rock attached sunny weather lasts for 8 turns. the EVs maximize Lilligant's Sp.Atk which is used for Solarbeam which can be devastating to normal effective types. Synthesis allows for healing up to 1/2 HP in sunny weather, in case Lilligant does get hurt. Quiver Dance is in case of neede Sp. Atk, Spd, and Sp. Def.

Darmanitan @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
Nature: Adamant [+Atk/-Sp.Atk]
EVs: +128HP / +252Atk / +128Spd
-Superpower
-Flare Blitz
-Bulk Up
-Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Darmanitan is the physical sweeper. He has the highest attack stat of any fire type, coupled with the Life Orb and EVs make him a force to be reckon with. Flare Blitz is for STAb and Super Power is to take care of Rock types. Bulk Up is to increase the ATk and Def stats. Stone Edge or Rock Slide is to take care of Flying or Bug types; I'm on the fence though about which one to have. The ability I didn't give too much use to...

Virizion @ Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
Nature: Careful [+Sp.Def/-Sp.Atk]
EVs: +252Atk / +252Sp.Def / +4Spd
-Close Combat
-Leaf Blade
-Light Screen
-Protect
Virizion is a Special Wall (sorta) and back-up. The Lum Beery heals any status condition. Close Combat and Leaf Blade are for STAB and are really effective, even though Close Combat lowers Sp.Def. Light Screen makes up for it. Protect is to...protect. The ability has no use, but it is Virizion's only ability.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Nature: Relaxed [+Def/-Spd]
EVs: +68HP / +40Atk / +200Def / +200Sp.Def
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Power Whip
-Stealth Rock
Ferrothorn is a SubSeeder and somewhat physical wall. The Leftovers add HP along with the Leech Seed. Iron Barbs damage the user for any physical attacks. Substitute and Leech Seed go hand in hand to protect and feed Ferrothorn. Power Whip is to add damage to any enemy and with a Base Power of 140 is powerful and has STAB. Stealth Rock is to create an entry hazard for the enemy if they switch after being seeded.

Sigilyph @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Modest [+Sp.Atk/-Atk]
EVs: +120HP / +252Sp.Atk / +136Spd
-Psychic
-Air Slash
-Ice Beam
-Energy Ball
Sigilyph is meant as a somewhat Special Sweeper. Sigilyph is for a short amount of time though. With Magic Guard it is safe from entry hazards and status ailments for a quick and safe switch. Psychic and Air Slash allow for STAB. Ice Beam is to fight Flying and Dragon types. Energy Ball is to take care of Rock, Ground, and Water types. The EVs allow for maximum SP.Atk and enough HP to survive one turn and SPd to defeat any threats quick.

Gigalith @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Brave [+Atk/-Spd]
EVs: +100HP / +252Atk / +80Def / +76Sp.Def
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Stealth Rock
-Explosion
Gigalith is my Physical Wall, with Air Balloon it avoids any ground attacks for a limited time. Sturdy acts as a Focus Sash to allow for at least one move. Earth quake is used when Sigilyph is paired up with Gigalith th minimize ally damage. Rock Slide to hurt both allies and STAB when Sigilyth isn't partnered up with Gigalith. Stealth Rock is if Ferrothorn isn't on the team. Explosion is a last resort and with the added EVs it is sure to take something down with it.

Chandelure @ Focus Sash
Ability: Flame Body
Nature: Timid [+Spd/-Atk]
-Heat Wave
-Imprison
-Shadow Ball
-Protect
After several battles on PO I've discovered Chandelure is used alot, and for good reason. So in hopes that I can out speed all the other Chandelures this one gives burns out, can't be killed with one move, and uses both STABs. Imprison will take care of all other Chandelure. Protect is in case I have no other option.

This is my first VGC team, so please give me constructive criticism on how to make it better. Please offer suggestions. Thank you.
