Yeah, you tell your epic warstories about beating 8 year olds here. Mine was pretty much pathetic.
So I entered the Franklin, MA tournament. It was 4 v 4, double battles.
First round was easy. Swept my opponent's team with Specsmence + Scarfchomp, including his Starmie. Wasn't a very tough opponent =/ Final Score: 4-0
Second round was slightly more challenging..but not really. I used Specsmence and Garchomp again to start..which, actually, didn't make it too hard. Garchomp OHKO's the foe's Gengar with Outrage, while Specsmence Draco's PorygonZ into oblivion. The foe then proceeded to send out Azelf and Weavile. I switched out Specsmence to Cresselia, which I gave Protect as soon as I found out it was 2 v 2. (In fact, I did this in store). Anyway, Garchomp wiped out Weavile with Outrage (fair enough..I wasn't concerned) leaving only an Azelf left. To be dramatic, I switched Chomp out to ChoiceMetagross, and next turn, Protected with Cressy and blew up to finish the battle "with a bang." Final Score: 3-0
Third and final round was lolworthy. The kid SAID he was using an all-uber team, so I decided to do so as well. Latios used Draco, took out..Blaziken. Then, his Dialga used Roar of Time (oh n0z) on Latios, effectively pwning it. Then, Metagross used EQ and took out Dialga. Next turn, he sends out Torterra and Raikou. I switched ScarfKyogre in, in place of Latios. Started off with Ice Beam, OHKO Torterra, of course. Then, Raikou used Thunder and, with a Crit, killed Kyogre. Metagross uses EQ, and gg. Yeah, I finished the final round in 2 moves. Final Score: 2-0.
So, since I already had Battle Revolution, I traded it in for cash. 20 bucks in one hour? Yeah.
