XY OU My Last, Best Try. Peaked #52

This is my first RMT, but my all-time favorite team. It was derived from Dauude _ Sandstorm's Gen-5 team, with some adjustments made to make it Gen-6 worthy done by my bros LGS and Updated Kanto. Proof of my ladder rating: ( I am qc2chd)

Now, onto the team.

DOOM (Tyranitar) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Pursuit/ Earthquake
- Superpower

The main player of my team, this thing is the biggest surprise I have. Scarftar is a fantastic sweeper, one that I absolutely love to use. It revenges about every psychic in the tier and can live a ton of attacks due to its fantastic bulk. I opt for pursuit over EQ because Scarftar uses it the best in this tier, as well as the fact that I use it more as a check to birdspam and the Lati-twins than fire-types.

SLICE N DICE (Scizor) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-turn

This is my main revenge killer on this team, and probably what I rely on heavily to remove serious threats. CB Scizor is very underrated in the meta, and most people don't see how good it really is. CB Technician Bullet Punch is a 2HKO to many common sweepers out there. I opt for pursuit over Knock Off to deal with some psychics out there Ttar can't get to like Slowbro and some weird Lati sets. This thing is just unbelievably gret in the late XY meta. With some prediction, Superpower can be used to dispatch some Mag and Heatran switch-ins. I opted for it over exca for the water neutrality, as well as more immediate power.

UnBREAKable (Skarmory) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Bold Nature
- Counter
- Roost
- Taunt
- Defog

Ah, Skarm. One of the greatest physical walls out there. Skarm's job is basically to wall and kill any/all of the threatening phys attackers on the other team. Rocky helmet is great for punishing stuff that tries to U-turn away. The roost-counter set is fantastic because it turns the odds of every physical attacker. It can't die, because of Sturdy, and always manages to counter back.

VoLcAnO (Heatran) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Lava Plume
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock

Offensive Heatran can be outstanding with a little prediction. It gets rid of quite a few counters with an HP Ice, and hits extremely hard. Rocks are great as they are expected on Ttar or Skarm. This is a great lead answer to Chomp, and comes in with enough speed to OHKO Gliscor too. This is a great lead and late game finisher as well.

IntoTheJungle (Venusaur) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder
- Synthesis
- Sludge Bomb

This basically patches up any holes left in my team. Mega Venu beats just about everything in the meta 1v1 not named birdspam. It gets shut down by ferrothorn though, but there are enough methods on the team to deal with that. For my team, it mainly walls Keldeo and electrics, as well as fairy sweepers.

DROWN (Keldeo) @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Flying]

The much needed special sweeper, CM keld is incredibly easy to abuse by predicting simple switches. Leftovers is also a better option as this set requires better longetivity than most sets. Keldeo is irreplacable on most teams, and challenges the whole meta.
