ORAS OU My Main Team

Hey guys, long time player, first time forum poster. The main reason I joined this forum is so that I can get some feedback on my Showdown teams. This is the main team that I've been using. I've won a lot of battles with it, but I can always improve. (This is a repost since I didn't describe my team members. Old thread was deleted.) Anyway, here it is:

184.png

Pikablu (Azumarill) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Belly Drum

Azumarill is my dragon slayer. Its attack is already pretty beefy thanks to Huge Power, but I like to use Belly Drum to run it up even further. Only real downside is its speed is pretty lacking. (Aqua Jet helps, though.)

Toothless (Charizard-Mega-Y) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam

My late-game special sweeper. STAB Air Slash and Flamethrower, Solar Beam in conjunction with Drought to counter water and rock types, and Dragon Pulse to take care of dragons since Azumarill and Weavile's defenses aren't the best.

Mr. Pricklepants (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

My hazard wall. Like most Ferrothorns, I send mine out early to set up hazards and status effects (Stealth Rock and Toxic being my favorites, obviously), but he also has some pretty decent attacks, with Power Whip being a really powerful STAB grass move, and Gyro Ball to take care of speedy sweepers.

Mr. Pinchy (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Rock Slide
- U-turn

My stall wall. Attack and Defense slightly higher than Ferrothorn's, but unlike Mr. Pricklepants, Mr. Pinchy has decent speed. Protect to stall and activate Toxic Orb, STAB Earthquake, and U-Turn for switch-outs and countering psychic and dark types.

Dirty Load (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp

While Mr. Pricklepants and Mr. Pinchy are physical walls, Dirty Load is my special wall. Will-O-Wisp for burning, Volt Switch for switch out damage (sometimes I like to use this with Mr. Pinchy's U-Turn), and STAB Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt.

461.png

Yiff (Weavile) @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brick Break
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off

My fast sweeper. Like Pikablu, Yiff makes up for its lack of defenses with offensive power, but unlike Pikablu, Yiff is the fastest member of my team. Life Orb helps boost its attacks, mainly Icicle Crash, Ice Shard and Knock Off (all STABS), but it chips away at my HP and I have no way of recovering them.

So what do you think?

Keldeo and M Altaria could be problems, but this is honestly a good bulky offense team
I've been able to deal with Keldeo thanks to Rotom, Ferrothorn and Charizard (aside from Weavile, he's my fastest member). Mega-Altaria has been a problem for me though, since I don't have that much to counter fairies. Ferrothorn's Gyro Ball helps, but it doesn't do much against something bulky like Clefable or Slurpuff.

Hi! With Mega Charizard Y, hazard control is a complete necessity for the team, which you lack. I would suggest replacing Azumarill with Latias, which gives you hazard control, which gives you a check to Keldeo, Thundurus, Mega Manectric, and opposing Charizard-Y. You have a Charizard-Y and a Ferrothorn which can switch into fairy types, and Gliscor can check Clefable, as well. Weavile also revenges Mega Altaria, so your team is not particularly weak to these.

There are also a few EV and set optimizations.

Firstly, I would change the EV spread on Ferrothorn to a 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD, with a Sassy Nature. This change lets Ferrothorn act as a much better check to Mega Gardevoir, which your team lacks, while still being able to handle Weavile albeit slightly worse. I would also change the item on it to Shed Shell, as your team is very weak to Magnezone. Given the lack of recovery, I would also change Toxic to Leech Seed, which helps maintain longevity and keep it alive.

Gliscor should also run an EV spread of 244 HP / 8 Def / 200 SpD / 56 Spe Careful. 8 Defense EVs guarantee that Gliscor avoids the OHKO from +2 Adamant Bisharp's Life Orb-boosted Sucker Punch. 56 Spe outpaces Adamant Bisharp and Breloom, 244 HP is a Poison Heal number, and the rest of the EVs are placed into Special Defense to take on special attackers such as Gengar, AV Torn-T, and Clefable more easily. Protect is also not really necessary on Gliscor - you tend not to switch it on in Knock Offs, so you will always activate Toxic Orb, after which it doesn't matter. Instead, I would consider a set of Swords Dance | Knock Off | Earthquake | Roost on it, which lets it threaten defensive cores more easily.

Your Rotom-W could run an EV spread of 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 SpD Bold, as it is your birdspam check, but this spread lets you take on Mega Manectric slightly better too, in case Latias gets Pursuited or something. I would also consider replacing Thunderbolt with Pain Split, as it gives you semi-recovery, and you don't tend to use Thunderbolt that much - Volt Switch gives momentum, and Hydro Pump is more easily spammed - you also don't get worn down that easily.

Running out of time, got school soon:

Weavile - Use Jolly, replace Brick Break with Pursuit for Latias which walls Charizard-Y
Charizard-Y - Air Slash and Dragon Pulse are useless - replace with Roost and Focus Blast for Heatran and Tyranitar.

Good luck, hope it helped.
