Just want to make a team I can stick with. Also, I like using Pokemon people never thought of using. Surprise factor! :) I'm always finding out new ways to use Pokemon with each other here on Smogon, so it's difficult. ^^; Anyway, if these movesets look familiar, you'll know why. Please tell me what I should be looking out for, if something is missing, or if something is horribly wrong. Any questions as to why a certain Pokemon is here or why they have a certain move, don't hesitate to ask.
Quagsire-Sitrus Berry
Impish(Def+,SpAtk-)
252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Earthquake
Yawn
Recover
Stone Edge
My bulky water. I know, outclassed by Swampert. I hoped to remedy this with Recover, which previously only Quagsire's UU rival Gastrodon was capable of doing. This stops Gyarados dead in it's tracks from my experience. It has good synergy with Altaria, Forretress, & Swalot (all take Grass attacks well).
Altaria-Yache Berry
Careful(SpDef+,SpAtk-)
252 HP/40 Def/216 SpDef
Aerial Ace
Roar
Heal Bell
Roost
The defensive dragon. Using Aerial Ace over Dragon Claw is a MUST for me as Breloom is all too a common enemy of mine. Roaring out my opponents with Forretress' Spikes & Toxic Spikes in play greatly helps my team. It has good synergy with Forretress (takes Dragon & Ice attacks with ease).
Forretress-Shed Shell
Careful(SpDef+,SpAtk-)
252 HP/44 Atk/212 SpDef
Payback
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Toxic Spikes
Here's where the "OU" in my team comes in. Using a popular Pokemon goes against my earlier statment, but who can argue with Forretress' resume? Spikes & Toxic Spikes wear my opponents down to the ground. And Rapid Spin prevents that from happening to my team. It has good synergy with Quagsire & Altaria (both resist Fire attacks).
Spiritomb-Lum Berry
Careful(SpDef+,SpAtk-)
208 HP/184 Atk/116 SpDef
Sucker Punch
Will-o-Wisp
Pain Split
Pursuit
The former king of OU stall teams. Spiritomb always finds it's way onto my team somehow. But I'm not complaining: great typing with bulk is a score for me. Traps Starmie, Alakazam, and most other annoying Psychic sweepers with Pursuit & Sucker Punch. It has good synergy with Swalot & Clefable (can take Psychic & Fighting attacks for both, respectively).
Clefable-Leftovers
Sassy(SpDef+,Spd-)
252 HP/44 Def/212 SpDef
Seismic Toss
Wish
Protect
Fire Blast
My variation of Clefable's "Wishful Stalling" moveset. Toxic didn't really fly with me, so I went with Fire Blast. I have way too many physical attacks here as it is. Please let me know if this is a mistake or not. It has good synergy with Swalot, Altaria, & Spiritomb (the former two resist Fighting while the latter is immune to Fighting).
Swalot-Black Sludge
Calm(SpDef+,Atk-)
252 HP/144 Def/112 SpDef
Rest
Sleep Talk
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
Wanted a Toxic Spikes/Status Absorber. My Rest-talker. Not impressive at first glance, but like I said, I like using what others don't. It has good synergy with Altaria, Forretress, & Spiritomb (Altaria is immune to Ground attacks, Forretress takes Psychic attacks well, & Spiritomb is immune to Psychic attacks).
