gengar.png

Gengar @ Lum Berry
Nature: Naive
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Ability: Levitate
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt

My lead. Sludge Bomb for STAB and surprise. Focus Blast for Tyranitar, Weavile and friends, Shadow Ball for yet more STAB and coverage over Psychics and Ghosts, and Thunderbolt for Gyarados.

lucario.png

Lucario @ Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
40 HP, 252 Spd, 218 Atk
Ability: Steadfast
- Cross Chop
- ExtremeSpeed
- Crunch
- Stone Edge

OrbCario. My EV spread lets it survive a few hits from non-DD-so-far-Gyarados and then strike it with Stone Edge. ExtremeSpeed is better than Quick Attack imo, Cross Chop is better than Close Combat in this situation due to i don't really want to take hits harder from things like Nape, Chomp, Weavile and Gyara.

staraptor.png

Staraptor @ Leftovers
Nature: Jolly
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
Ability: Intimidate
- Pursuit
- Close Combat
- U-Turn
- Brave Bird

Many people, when they see this, think "Oh, It's Scarfed or Banded". WRONG. Due to Brave Bird hurting me, i use Leftovers for HP recovery. Pursuit is for the obvious switch-outs, Close Combat for Mamoswine and Weavile, U-Turn for sticky situations, and Brave Bird for STAB and power. KO on Infernape and Machamp.

heatran.png

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Hasty
80 Atk, 252 Sp.Atk, 176 Spd
Ability: Flash Fire
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Fire Blast
- Explosion

My main sweeper. Dragon Pulse is obviously for the Dragons, but only when i predict their switch in. I'd normally switch in something else against the Dragons, anyways. Hidden Power [Electric] helps against those stupid Water types that think they can switch in on me, and annihilates Gyarados. Fire Blast gets STAB and kills Skarm, Bronzong, and the Magnezone thinking they can trap me and survive a hit to Hidden Power [Ground] me. Explosion for if the situation is getting a bit sticky.

tangrowth.png

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Nature: Impish
252 HP, 6 Atk, 252 Def
Ability: Leaf Guard
- Power Whip
- Substitute
- Knock Off
- Stun Spore

Gyarados counter. The key is to Knock Off first, normally removing Leftovers or Life Orb. Then Substitute, and after that Stun Spore to paralyze it. Then, switch out, or Power Whip to death. To help with HP recovery, I have Lefties, and:

vaporeon.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
188 HP, 252 Def, 68 Sp.Atk
Ability: Water Absorb
- Wish
- Surf
- Ice Beam / Toxic
- Protect

My supporter. Vappy gives me the infamous WishPass ability, allowing easy HP recovery access to my team. This is really important, so my main sweepers don't go down in a bang. May replace Ice Beam with Toxic for a Stall Battle. EV spread allows total Leftovers recovery, and brings it's HP up to around a massive 500. Surf gets STAB and takes out Tyranitar, and Protect for....... protecting myself xD

You put a little too much emphasis on 'surprise', when it will generally cost you more than it's helping.

A key example of this is Staraptor. You are losing a ton of power by not using Choice Band, and once your opponents see Leftovers recovery it'll become obvious what it has anyway.

Sludge Bomb is going to hurt... what? Grass types, that aren't going to stay in on a 'Gar anyway? Also, your EV spread is wrong, to say the least... with only special attacks you should be going Timid with 252 Speed and 252 Sp. Attack.

Lastly, a paltry 40 HP EV's is not going to help your Lucario "take hits". Let it do what it does best and attack, the standard Swords Dancing Lucario is much better than your set. 'Nape, Chomp, Weavile and Gyara are going to be OHKOing and 2HKOing you regardless.

a pretty offensive team. one suggestion i would make would be to drop tangrowth for somthing with HP recovery. if your vaporeon gets taken out, and you come up against a wall you cant break, there isnt anything to fall back on.
apart from that, i really like this team, and thanks for commenting on my RMT!
