Well, after trying to get a few lesser used megas to work for me, I have decided to come back to my all time favorite mega evo: Bulky Zard-X. I have made a few bulky zard-x teams in the past but so far this is my favorite. Well here it is -

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 32 Atk / 40 Spd / 188 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost
Bulky Zard-X. The star of my team and an all around amazing Pokemon. He has the bulk and typing to counter many of the top tier OU threats and he has the power to hit many things hard. Will o wisp allows it to cripple and wall many powerful physical attackers which cannot do anything to it after a burn such as mega mawile, azumarill, scizor, tyranitar, and bisharp. His typing and special defense investment also allows him to be a good mega manectric, thundurus, and rotom wash counter as well. I could literally talk all day about how much I love this thing but you probably wouldn't want to read all that.

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aromatherapy
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
Another great Pokemon I absolutely love. Chansey is a great mixed wall/cleric and I usually have it on all my teams, and if I don't have it on a team I will often find myself wishing I did have it. It can toxic stall a ton of things like a champ and can wall any special attacker for days. It let's me cure my team of status which is incredibly helpful as well.

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Stealth Rock
- Defog
- Roost
Skarmory is always my go-to defensive wall. I really like this set as it allows me to defog away hazards and then set up my own rocks. Skarmory can take any physical hit with ease and opponents often find themselves hurting themselves more from rocky helmet recoil than they can do to me.

Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Toxic
This is my first time using the Quag and I really like him so far. His ability to wall and cripple set up sweepers besides mega gyarados is great and his typing is also good with only one weakness to grass which isn't too common. I have considered running haze over toxic to deal with baton pass teams but I have not seem many of those and toxic seems to work better.

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb
Amoongus is a very underated Pokemon that can counter many good Pokemon such as keldeo, scizor, ferrothorn, and several others. Regenerator is a great ability and allows him to regain health easily. HP fire is for steel types who think they can wall me. Spore is a great move that very few Pokemon have access to plus it is nice to have a 100% accurate sleep move.

Greninja @ Expert Belt
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Extrasensory
- Grass Knot
Greninja may seem like a weird Pokemon for a stall team but in my experience it has been great. I usually save him for late game once my opponents team has been weakened to a good extent. Then I can usually bring greninja in and clean up what's left with his great coverage and powerful attacks.
Well there is my team, any suggestions are appreciated. The only Pokemon I seem to have trouble with is mega gyarados so any changes that would help against him without messing up what I can already handle would be great.
P.S Shiny Mega Charizard X is beautiful
