As the title states, I feel like my team needs some improvements. I like to use some non-conventional pokemon (like you'll see below) alongside some traditional OU pokes to keep the game fresh and to provide a bit of a unpredictable nature to my side of the field. I've used it against a few times and worked out some of the kinks to it and I feel it's solid but could still leave room for improvement. If anyone can improve it, I'll be more than happy to listen. Thanks! And without any more waiting, here it is:
Latios
Timid
Levitate
Choice specs
252 speed, 252 sp.atk., 4 HP
31/xx/31/31/31/31
Psyshock
Draco Meteor
Surf
Thunder
(premier special attacker wall-breaker and probably my favorite pokemon period. I also use him on rain teams on occasion as surf reaches new heights and thunder is extremely potent and somewhat rare)
Mega-Medicham
Adamant
Pure Power
Medichamite
252 speed, 252 attack, 4 HP
31/31/31/xx/31/31
bullet punch
psycho cut
thunderpunch
drain punch
(originally I was using a life orb regenerator mienshao for scouting and some small amount of coverage but after a few matches I decided I liked Medicham's wall-breaking coverage to be a bit more useful)
Lanturn
Calm
volt absorb
leftovers
40 HP, 252 def, 216 Sp.def.
31/xx/31/31/31/31
volt switch
scald
thunder wave
confuse ray
(kind of a troll/wild card pokemon on the team. After it paralyzes, it confuses and the proceeds to volt switch out or press forward with scald in order to either open up for a sweeper to clean up or punish faster pokemon that can't 2-shot it.)
Avalugg
Impish
Sturdy
Weakness Policy
252 HP, 252 def, 4 atk
31/31/31/xx/31/00
avalanche
earthquake
curse
recover
(another oddball pokemon I like throwing into my team for a couple of reasons. A. It has insane physical bulk B. No one ever runs it with a weakness policy and if I predict a super-effective physical hit coming in, I have him use recover in order to come back to 100% HP with +2 attack or just straight up counter hit with either STAB avalanche or earthquake. Kind of gimmicky but still preserves that "fun factor." I had an opponent sub in a charizard y earlier when avalugg was at full HP and use heat wave to reduce Avalugg's HP to 1. Weakness policy activated, avalanche's power doubled due to the "revenge" factor of the move as well, and STAB being added resulted in a perfect OHKO against a usually dangerous opponent and I guarantee they never saw it coming.)
Sylveon
Bold
Pixilate
Light clay
252 HP, 124 def, 128 sp.def.
31/31/31/31/31/31
dazzling gleam
light screen
reflect
wish
(I use my sylveon as a versatile wall. If I can predict well, I can set up dual screens. Or if another pokemon needs some healing, I can wish-pass shittons of HP. OR if I need him to, I can sub him in on a dragon type such as choice-scarf garchomp or choice specs/life orb hydreigon and force a switch or kill it off with a relatively weak dazzling gleam)
Terrakion
Jolly
Justified
Choice Band
252 atk, 252 speed, 4 HP
31/31/31/xx/31/31
x-scissor
stone edge
earthquake
close combat
(basically the physical variant of Latios. Much like the former as well, it is one of my favorite pokemon. He wall-breaks like a champ and is a good counter for tyranitar, ferrothorn, etc.)
Anyway, that's my team. Thanks for reading
