My old and improved Wi-Fi team.

I've been working on this team for a few weeks, and I find the end result to be pretty decent. Check it out.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Adamant, 212 HP/16 Atk/136 Def/144 Spe

Taunt
Stone Edge
Waterfall
Dragon Dance

My starter. Gotta love this dude. Stone Edge+Waterfall=good coverage.

Lucario @ Choice Specs
Modest, 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 Def

Vaccum Wave
Aura Sphere
HP Ice
Dark Pulse

Gotta love good old SpecsLuke. Probably my best bet against the pink whore.

205.png

Fortress @ Shed Shell
Relaxed, 252 Def/216 HP/40 SpA

Toxic Spikes
Rapid Spin
Zap Cannon
Stealth Rocks

My spiker/spinner. The only unorthodox thing about this is Zap Cannon, which helps cover Gyara if it gets a DD or two in. Since I no longer have Blissey to lay down rocks, I put them on Forry. Vaporeon can give wish support in place of Rest.

493.png

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Modest, 252 Def/20 HP/236 SpA

Reflect
Ice Beam
Moonlight
Thunder Wave/Charge Beam

Cresselia can provide some Reflect support, which my team can put to awesome use. I opt for Moonlight over Rest because although I have no way to change the weather, I don't have a Cleric to wake up Cress. I like Thunder Wave over Charge beam because Fortress already has Zap Cannon, and TWave can help pick off faster sweepers.

Snorlax @ Choice Band
Adamant, Thick Fat, 252 Atk/252 SpD/4 HP

Body Slam
Earthquake
Fire Punch
Selfdestruct

As I was looking over my team, I thought to myself two things: What will I use for physical muscle if Gyara faints? and I need something that can pack a punch and take a hit or two. So I decided to swap out my ScarfStar for a CBlax. I still have some reservations about this spot, though. I have been debating between CBlax, Resttalking Snorlax, and Dusclops. So far, I like this Snorlax. I prefer Fire Punch over Fire Blast because Punch hits Gengar and co. harder while still doing decent damage to Skarmory.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold, 252 Def/48 Spe/206 HP

Wish
Surf
Toxic
Protect/Yawn

Vaporeon provides my much needed wish support. I put most of the EVs that normally go into Special Attack into Speed, and the rest into HP. I don't need the SpA EVs for Ice Beam because Cresselia already can OHKO Garchomp. Protect works in tandem with Toxic and Leftovers, helps scout moves and possibly cause switches. Yawn can either cause switches or put an opponent out of business.

I like this team. Vaporeon, Fortress, and Cresselia work well, providing Wish and Toxic support, Spikes, Stealth Rocks and Spin support, and Reflect and TWave support. As I mentioned, Relfect can really benefit my team, making Vaporeon and Snorlax harder to take down, letting Lucario take even less damage from Rock and Dark attacks, and Gyarados to switch into Heracross more frequently. Snorlax has always been one of my favorite pokemon, and I always hated facing him because he is a monster. I guess Resttalking Snorlax could benefit from Reflect even more, but I really like the raw power that a CBlax offers. I love Lucario, I just wish he was faster though. His raw power makes up for it though.
I think that adding Vaporeon and Cresselia covers some of the weaknesses that I had before, and those two combined with Fortress make a great defensive combo. But an outside opinion would be awesome.

Waterfall + Stone Edge offers superior coverage.
You need AT THE VERY LEAST 20 more Speed EVs on Gyarados to outspeed the many, many other Gyarados.

Recently, I've seen a lot of BulkyGyaras around running around 124 Speed EVs, so 136 - 144 is ideal.

If you want to be completely safe, 188 Speed EVs is going to outspeed all other Bulky Gyaras almost all the time.
Taken into account. Should I move some defense EVs into speed, or HP?

252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpA
is the ideal Zapper Forry set, to guarantee a 2HKO on most Gyara.
Easy enough.

I don't like CBlax as muck as Rest Talk or Curselax, but I think Fire Blast would do even more to Skarmory and co, which is the sole reason a Fire move is there.
So I should run Blast over Punch? If so, should I use a brave nature or is Adamant fine?
And does Snorlax work better or worse in this spot than Dusclops? I know that they are used for different things, but which one do you think would fit better in that spot and supporting my team?

Wish and AT/HB is illegal on bliss. you'll have to choose one or the other, and either way you'll have to mod your team since your team kind of relies on wish support
I'd throw gyroball on forry to stop stuff like subchomp too.

argh alot of problems on this team. lax/bliss in general is asking for trouble and right now you have a pretty significant heraweak, even with duggy, who is killed by scarfhera's stabs regardless.

I would ditch bliss here and throw pursuit on lax to take care of spinners. I'd also just ditch duggy since you have reasonable options for handling tar.

ok so we want stealth rock and a way to deal with skarm, and maybe some wish support.

BL as it may be, Gardevoir here is an idea over bliss since it can wish/thunderbolt/psychic and even "counter" infernape to an extent with a special defensive build. free switchins on heatran are cool too! cress is of course always an option here.

in the last slot, I'd suggest gliscor pretty much for hera/garchomp/cbtar insurance/sr/another eq immune

you'll still have issues taking down celebi, so try TS on forry to prevent it from doing too much stalling. (TS+SR is probably my fave spikes combo)

I revamped my team quite a bit. I added Vaporeon over Blissey to give my team Wish support and Toxic support. Cresselia nicely counters both Garchomp and Infernape. Any more suggestions?

Gengar is probably something you had or are going to have a hard time dealing with. Your only chance is probably catching it in a switch-in at this rate. Gengar can just flee when Snorlax comes in. Pursuit, over Earthquake or Fire Punch, preferably over the latter, is a really good option here. OHKOing Gengar whether it switches or not and will therefore, eliminate what could be a major problem. Where else could Pursuit be useful? Against the likes of Starmie. Seeing how you have no spinner-blockers, KOing it early game can allow you to set up spikes and toxic spikes relatively easily.

Suicune is also a problem for your team. With the ability to Calm Mind and Rest, and with no phazers or immediate threats for it at all on this team, you should really consider a phazer or a reliable Electric attack. You could always use Magnezone over, perhaps one of your walls. I would suggest Vaporeon as, theory-wise, it doesn't seem to help the team counter threats. Magnezone packs a STAB, base 135 Thunderbolt that will scare off any Suicune. Not to mention its ability to sweep unprepared teams can be quite useful under your disposal.

Thanks to Junior and DFA. After taking both of your suggestions into account... I'm not sure what to do. One of the main reasons I have Vaporeon on my team is that it works well when Cresselia sets up a Reflect and gives some Poison support. I suppose I could stick Ice Beam over Toxic and Roar over Protect/Yawn, but then I lose my valuable poison. My only idea was since Snorlax has (the somewhat reliable) Body Slam, I could ditch Thunder Wave on Cresselia and give her Toxic. But Snorlax can't switch into an Infernape and paralyze it, of course. Some help with that issue would be greatly appreciated.

I will definetly switch out Pursuit over Fire Punch. I didn't realize how big a Gengar weak I had. Not horrible, but enough so that it could take down a few of my guys before I took it down.

Those are some considerable options but something else you can do is ditching Spikes for Toxic Spikes. Toxic Spikes does a lot more damage than Spikes overtime anyway, especially during longer matches. You also don't have to waste every turn just using Toxic as you already know, it's automatic. The only downside is probably losing a way paralyze the ape. You shouldn't fear it anyway, seeing as Gyarados does a great job of countering it.

No problem. I'm glad to help.

I was thinking about my lack of a status absorber, especially seeing as how common Scarfgar Sleeping leads are. One idea that I had was using a Lax with Rest/Sleep Talk/Pursuit/Body Slam. Obviously, I would use a different nature and EV spread. Is this a good idea?

Two questions:
I was wondering if Resttalking Snorlax would work better over CB lax, as I have nothing to absorb sleep. Either that or I could put Sleep Talk on Snorlax, but if I do, what move should I replace: Body Slam, Selfdestruct, Pursuit, or Earthquake?
What goes better on Wish Vaporeon: Surf, Wish, Ice Beam and for the fourth slot, Protect or Yawn? I like Yawn, but what do you think?

Edit: Got rid of Spikes on Forry and put in Toxic Spikes.
