I have tried to put two posts before, but they were never consistent enough, so I'm gonna try my best to explain how I use every poke on the team so that you can give your opinions and help me make it better. I'm not really a pro, I'be been trying competitive for 3 weeks or so now, so I might just fail LoL. I admit every type of suggestion (Diferent pokemons, movesets, EV spreads...) So yeah, just throw everything that goes through your minds :D. This is my team, as I said on the post, my top puntuation was 1689.
Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp / ??
This is my scarfer. It hits like a beast, and I usually use it when all of my opponents pokes are enough weakened to prevent switches that would lock me into a useless move against a certain pokemon. For instance, if my opponent has a heathran, I try to save it until I killed it, or it is weakened enough to anticipate the switch and cast shadow ball on it and kill it right away. I sometimes use it to lead if I feel my opponent is gonna start with deoxys defense (with one shadow ball it hits it around 75% and I prevent it taking the stealth rock damage) or something it can OHKO right away.
It runs Will-o-Wisp because someone suggested me to try it, but I never really found myself using it since I have my defensive rotom-W, so I was thinking maybe replacing it with psychic/dark pulse, what do u think?
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak
- Shadow Ball
- King's Shield
This was my holy grill when I started using the team, but I'm starting to like it less. It is bulky as hell, so I use it to switch into attacks that no other member on my team can take, plus, it hits hard. The
Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Modest Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Rest
I just love it. I put it on my team to counter talonflame, but it's just so useful. It can absorb status and heal with rest, It resists lots of attacks and can hit quite hard to the appropriate pokes, so yeah, really useful. I was just wondering if a different nature could help more, like to raise its SpD or Def further.
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
This is my premier physical attacker, plus it can take certain hits quite well since it has great bulk. The only problem is locking into a specific move, which sometimes sucks. Maybe belly drum set would work better? but I dont really like it, much less bulk. Idk.
Ok, these ones are my most recent additions. At first I was using Assault Vest bulky sweeper snorlax + gliscor, but I found my team to be sooo weak to being burned. Plus I didn't have a spinner so:
Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Defog
I saw this set on a team in this same forum, and I thought it would be a great idea: It helps me gets switchs and hits hard with U-turn, It is sort of bulky and I get defog, which is perfect since I don't really use entry hazards and it also removes screens AND sticky web which was the entry hazard that caused me most trouble since chandelure became almost useless. Maybe I should change the spread to Def instead of SDf and make it my physical tank?
Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Dragon Pulse
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Roost
This is thing is bulky as hell. It took an ice beam from a life orb goodra taking only like 23%, and it can heal off with Roost. Plus it can take earthquake, so yeah. And if I get the chance, I can set up and sweep since it can hit both types of walls with stab. I have found myself sweeping with it and entire team midgame several times, since If physical sweepers are removed latias is not afraid to many things.
I'm not a pro, so I want to listen to your opinions and see what you think. Thanks a lot for your help!!
