I was a very big shot in the Gen 5. I tiped the 1400 mark, but when Gen 6. came out, I dropped significantly. I am ok in the Meta, my ranking sits around 1150 when I wrote this. I need opinions on this team.
Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 20 Atk / 252 SpA / 236 Spe
Mild Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Bolt
- Roost
I like this Mixed Wallbreaker Kyrem Set, and it is the Star of my team. I tried to build around it bulky pokemon to take hits for it. Ice Beam is it's best Ice move outside of Freeze Shock, but the 1-Turn charge is wasteful, and the opponent can switch into Heatran or other mons to take the hit, and Power Herb is a one use item. Earth Power hits anything resisting Ice Beam, From Rotom-W to Heatran, it does hefty damage to otherwise good Switch-ins to this Pokemon. Fusion Bolt Demolishes Water types and flying types who arent Afraid of Ice Beam, like Talonflame and Skarmory. Finally, Roost helps me get my HP back up, and ususally finds good times to roost throught the battle.
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 64 Def / 180 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Defog/Toxic
Zapdos is a great Pokemon. As it is shown here, it is a more balanced with it's defenses. Thunderbolt is it's best Electric Option outside of Rain. It hits many Water/Flying Types Hard, and has a slight Chance to paralyze as well. Roost regains HP, and HP Ice hits Lando-T, Serperior, and the Latis pretty hard. Toxic hurts Mega Charizard without Roost, but I have to run Defog to remove Hazards, especially Stealth Rocks, for Kyrem-B
Heatran @ Air Ballon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Abiltiy: Flash Fire
Relaxed Nature
- Magma Storm/Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Toxic
Opposed to the Defensive set of Heatran, I liked this one better as Earth Power deals with Choiced Fire types like Heatran and Chandy well, as Chandy doesn't hit it Hard outside of Trick (Which could benefit) and Air Ballon keeps it safe from Enemy Heatran's Earth Power. Magma Storm traps M-Venusaur too stupid to stay in, and hits other mons with Chip damage each turn. However, I'm leaning towards Lava Plume for it's accuaracy and Burn Chance. Taunt Stops anything trying to set up on Heatran real quick, and Toxic deals with Unaware Clefable.
Keldeo-Resolute @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword
Keldeo is the best My Little Pony anyone can ask for. It's SubCM set Churns through Chancey looking to wall, as it attacks its Defenses with Secret Sword, and technically be a mixed wallbreaker because it can hit Pokemon Defensively and Special Defensively. Scald burns Opponents, chipping at their HP and also weakening their attack. Although it loses out on Icy Wind and Hydro Pump, and gets completely walled out by Jellicent, it is the only set-up sweeper on the team, which it lacked.
Mega Sableye is my favorite mon. It's as bulky as it looks (The weight of that gem doe), and provides good coverage to DD Mega Char X with Foul Play, which is great since it resists it's burns, and uses it as a setup fodder. (+1 0 Atk Mega Sableye Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard X: 234-276 (78.7 - 92.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock, allowing a priority mon to clean it up it if Char had full HP before the Foul Play). Burning targets like Weakness Policy Dragonite and Gliscor on the switch with Will-o-Wisp can be very important. Protect scouts out foes and allow extra chip burn damage and scouting. Its ability prevents Hazard Setup and status infliction outside of Mold Breaker/Teravolt users. Recover heals half this mon's HP, making it long lasting (Except if Fairy types are present).
Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 140 Def / 92 SpD / 28 Spe
Bold Nature
- Earth Power
- Knock Off / Toxic
- Scald
- Stealth Rock
Last, but not least, we have Seismitoad.

Change Log:
Version 1.01: Changed Spread on Ferro to 248 Hp 68 Def and 168 Sp.Def
Version 1.10: Patched EV Spread Glitch on Heatran, set to 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe.
Keldeo set changed to SubCM instead of Specs. Added Shadow Sneak to Banette (Sucker Punch hits normal types like Exploud, so it was kept as an alternative.) Gunk Shot was not added due to Heatran Magma Storm Abuse (Shadow Sneak wont do anything to it)
Version 1.11: Added Power Whip instead of Protect on Ferro
