hi everyone this is once again my platinum team plaease do reply early on what u think and what changes i should do,also i am new as a competitive battler and have no idea how to do that shoddy battle ok so here it is.


THE LEAD
infernape(adamant nature)

this is basically what i came up with for a lead and is great for sweeping

a good special sweeper and with roost can survive and destroy
revenge killer
Garchomp(yache berry)

his moves counter all his weaknesses and since my quest is to make an entire team consiting of 4th generation pokemon he is the best grass type i think is there apart from torterra

i am confused about the last move slot but he is good
ok the last pokemon i am really stumpted looking for a 4th gen powerful tank so i chose b

this is basically what i came up with for a lead and is great for sweeping
Try replacing this with a focus sashed stealth rocking infernape with fake out, most offensive teams like to get rocks up ASAP.

Garchomp is banned from competitive play but aside from the EV's nothing wrong

Not really a 'status sweeper' since those are usually slower bulky pokemon with twave/WoW. Replace toxic with grasswhistle, dig with swords dance and iron tail with aerial ace/x-scissor, leafeon will get decemated trying to attack pokemon it's weak to and dig is just a bad move.

Again, sort the EV's out, either max HP or max Speed and perhaps consider life orb or choice band since residual damages popularity makes focus sash pretty useless on anything but leads.

Why charge beam when you're not using any other special attacks? replace it with explosion and make this your lead over infernape.

I'm gunna be nice since it's your first competitive team, but you MUST sort out your EV's, read some smogon analysis and use marrilands team builder app to work on your team synergy.

Defense EV's aren't useful on frail pokemon like infernape, who is a good pokemon with it's own speed tier meaning it can drop a whole 60 EV's from speed and still outspeed everything it normally would.

As for your actual RMT, you missed natures and EV's on most of your pokemon, it'd help to know their builds.

It would also help if your descriptions were a little bit longer, so that people know exactly what you're thinking with your Pokemon.

Please expand upon your descriptions in accordance with rule 3. Why did you pick a certain Pokemon or moveset, how does it fit within your team etc. PM me with improved descriptions and I'll unlock your thread and you can bump it.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
