My revised team, still needs work. (Offensive OU Team)

I've had a ~70% win percentage with this team but I still know there are chinks, big and small. Team at a glance:

My strategy is to have Heatran lay down Rocks, explode on a special wall, have Breloom and Starmie chip away preparing usually my awesome SubPetaya Jolteon for a sweep or my bulky DDing Dragonite.

Heatran@ Shuca Berry
Modest
Flash Fire
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Explosion
-Stealth Rock

Lays down rocks, smacks anything with a 120 base power move with STAB or earth power against other Heatran and fire types. Explode on special threats like Snorlax and Blissey.

Breloom @ Choice Scarf
Jolly
Poison Heal
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Spore
-Seed Bomb
-Superpower
-Stone Edge

My main revenge killer, although unfortunately I reach 393 speed with max speed one point off a speed tie from base 130s. (Aero, Jolteon)

Starmie @ Choice Specs
Timid
Natural Cure
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Trick

I'm considering scarf but Breloom already has that so I opt for Specs. Trick cripples a whole lot while everything else is for coverage + STAB.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
188 HP, 252 Def, 72 Sp. Atk
Water Absorb
-Surf
-HP Electric
-Wish
-Protect

Wish + Protect heals while Surf + HP Electric isn't the best coverage but covers Gyara. I might use Ice Beam due to dragons but haven't been convinced.

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Adamant
Inner Focus
224 HP, 88 Atk, 196 Speed
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Roost
-Dragon Dance

Pulled straight from RaikouLover's D-Nite discussion. This guy has been in a battle where its 1-6 and he sweeps the whole team. It's incredibly easy to get a Dragon Dance or two and sweep. Roost greatly increases survivability while Dragon Claw + Earthquake gives beautiful coverage.

Jolteon @ Petaya Berry
Timid
252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Substitue
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Ice
-Signal Beam

What can I say? The star of my team. 4 HP gives me 272 HP which is divisible by 4 which means 3 subs always activates my berry. Signal Beam catches Tyranitar and can 2HKO(with petaya boost) with rocks so with some good prediction I can potentially defeat Tyranitar. Usually, their special wall is destroyed by now. I ALWAYS reveal this guy late-game unless they have a fellow Jolteon or a Zapdos out. (Can't reliably kill either.) This guy has swept so many teams its not even funny.

Well, I could include a threat list but I don't think its necessary. So rate away:naughty:.

Pretty typical, although you really don't have anything to defend against DDMence with EQ, at all. Scarfed Breloom might be able to salvage things, but you're more likely than not to simply crumble, especially if Heatran is gone. I'm thinking suggesting changing Starmie out for something else, since you already have a reliable special attacker (and Jolteon doesn't have a choice item). I'd personally use the Choice Scarf Gengar with Destiny Bond listed in the analysis, but you might have other ideas.

OK, i will start with saying Scarf Breloom isn't that good as a revenge killer. ScarfLooms Purpose is to lead and not let your opponents get Stealth Rocks Out. There are far better Revenge Killers. Heracross seems like it works it can take poison and hit harder than Breloom. Choice Specs Starmie really is bad on this team, i 1st thought your Starmie would have rapid spin so it can support your Dragonite but then i saw it was Speced. I would change your Starmie to

Starmie@Leftovers
Nature:Timid
Evs:136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe
-Thunderbolt
-Surf
-Rapid Spin
-Recover

This helps you take out SR with starmie which means your Dragonite has a better chance at Sweeping.

Jolteon with Petaya is very old and sucks this metagame do to all the priority, your team is very special based and if you do take out specs on Starmie you should Give Jolteon Specs.

Jolteon@Choice Specs
Nature:Timid (+Spe -Atk)
Evs: 252 SAtk/252 Spe/6 HP
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-HP Grass
-Baton Pass/Signal Beam/

Dragonite is fine.

Ehh Vaporeon i really don't know about this one.

I see your strategy is to go boom on Blissey's... well it won't happen. Most battlers know that Lead Heatran have explosion if you are going to use that trick most people will predict it and go to a ghost or either protect. You could switch Scarf Breloom to a lead and give the heatran a life orb explosion set with fire blast epower and SR... Whatever you want.

Anyways, decent team just very weird. I will try testing this team out and give you feedback how it is.:jump:

Mmm, I'll change Jolteon to specs and that Starmie to the set you reccommended and test it. Thanks :).

Will try out the Scarfed Gengar. Sounds great. Thanks as well.
