My sandteam

So here we go with the sandteam I designed.

Tyranitar @ chople berry
Ability: sandstream
EV's: 252 HP/ 153 Def/ 100 SpD
bold nature (+Def, -Att)

-stealth rocks
-flamethrower
-ice beam
-thunderbolt

Obviously he is there to set up the sand. With the chople berry he can pretty much live one hit from a fighting attack (except CC terrakion). So he is also my stealth rocker. I wanted him to have mix defenses, so with the sand storm SpD bonus, it's almost the same Def as SpD. I first had crunch and 2 of the other attacks, but found this to be the most effective.

Skarmory @ leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EV's: 252HP/232 Def/24 Spe
impish nature (+Def,-SpA)

-brave bird
-spikes
-whirlwind
-roost

Pretty much standard set. Physical wall, only 2 weaknesses which get covered by my special wall.

Latias @ leftovers
Levitate
EV's: 252HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Spe
Bold nature (+def,-Att)

-recover
-calm mind
-hidden power fire
- dragon pulse

Special wall is his primary roll, but also often acts as a special sweeper. I gave him as much physical defense as possible, because after one calm mind, it will have more SpD than max SpD latias. ANd after 2 calm mind, it will have more SpA than specs Latios. So after a couple calm minds (which are pretty easy to get) it's a dangerous sweeper. It has 5 weaknesses, from which 4 are resisted by skarmory. Skarm has 2 weaknesses, which both get resisted by latias. Good duo!

Rotom-W @choice scarf
Levitate
EV's: 252HP/128 Def/128 SpD
Calm nature (+SpD,-Att)

-trick
-hydro pump
-volt switch
-thunder wave

Again mixed defenses, more survivability. Trick to cripple a wall. Volt switch for scouting. STAB hydro pump, and thunder wave to slow down a sweeper (or T wave the pokemon that got tricked the scarf, rendering the scarf useless). It s got a good typing for a sandteam, covering some important weaknesses.

Landorus@ choice scarf
Sand forcforce
EV's: 4Att/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Rash nature (+SpA, -SpD)

-Stone edge
-earth power
-focus blast
-hidden power ice

This one catches a lot of people of guard. It's a revenge killer with the scarf. But is is mostly special, which is rather unpredictible. Earth power en stone edge both get the sand force boost. Focus blast en HP ice are for coverage. I have used grass knot in stead of focus blast in the past. But I prefer this one.

Terrakion @ life orb
Justified
Evs: 252Att/ 252 Spe/ 4Hp
Jolly nature (+Spe,-SpA)

-Close combat
-stone edge
-swords dance
-quick attack

My main sweeper. This thing is a beast. When he gets of a swords dance, he wrecks shit up! Max speed, because attack can be boosted with swords dance. Dual STAB with good coverage. And quick attack with priority for a revenge kill or some last damage.

Threats:

I think the most important threat to my team is I think another terrakion, because it is so strong and even skarmory cant easily switch in a cc.

I also have some trouble with the trick room reuniclus.

Everything else pretty much get covered, I think?

Please let me know what you think about it. Give advice, weaknesses and such!

Great team, but i suggest you to try Excadrill over your Terrakion:

Excadrill
Air Balloon / Life Orb (c)Adamant / Jolly
~ Swords Dance
~ Earthquake
~ Rock Slide
~ Return / Rapid Spin / X-Scissor
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

with scarf Landorus you needn' scarf rotom, try this moveset:

Rotom
Leftovers (c)Levitate - Modest
~ Thunderbolt / Volt Switch
~ Hydro Pump
~ Will-O-Wisp
~ Pain Split
112 HP / 252 SpA / 144 Spe
I hope i helped you ^^

Yeah, I have tried excadrill, but it just didn't work that well for me for some reason. Bad coverage of moves.. Skarm and gliscor are pretty much unaffected by it.

And with rotom, I try to dump the scarf as quickly as possible. Not really using it. So maybe it could try specs? So I can still get an attack boost and then dump it when I want..

I appreciate the help

Emeral, perhaps you would care to elaborate more on your suggestions.

In the meantime, I have some advice for you of my own. Tyranitar doesn't usually have trouble surviving weather wars, so you really needn't have him use such a Defensive spread with 3 Special Attacks. I strongly suggest you actually utilize the standard set. It allows you to better deal damage to Tyranitar's counters with good prediction, while the other set fails to OHKO things such as Gliscor, which ultimately will lead to Tyranitar's demise.

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry / Leftovers
Ability : Sand Stream
Nature : Sassy
EVs : 252 HP / 64 SpA / 192 SpD
- Stealth Rock
- Crunch / Pursuit
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam / Superpower

Also, Latios doesn't really need HP Fire very much, and I suggest you switch it out for Roar. With the Latios/Skarmory defensive phazing core, your team becomes very effective at whittling down threats it normally cannot check effectively once Landorus or Rotom go down. The only thing HP Fire deals with is Scizor and Ferrothorn, which can be taken care of by your other teammates and both are walled by Skarmory.

Finally, you might want to use U-Turn on Landorus. While your Specially oriented Scarf set is very innovated and can take the enemy by surprise, gaining you momentum at key moments, it is also a novelty which loses its effectiveness once the opponent realises what you're trying to pull. Hence, U-Turn lets you play more safely and even bluff the standard Scarf set earlier in the game, reducing the risk of Landorus becoming set-up fodder.

With landorus: which move should I replace for u-turn? I would thing focus blast? And should I put more investment in Att then?

With latias, I will try roar, but think I will find hp fire better. When I have two calm minds, any steel type can come in, and wall me completely. I am most of the time faster than any steel type and get of a powerfull hp fire, instead of need to take a hit to roar it out. (heatran is a notable exception of this)
