Kabutops - Damp Rock
Swift Swim
Jolly
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
~ Swords Dance
~ Rain Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Stone Edge
Overspeeded Kabutops is in my teams lead. Rain Dance is eight turns in the game, thanks for the Damp Rock. Swords Dance to boost attack and
Waterfall and Stone Edge for its attacking moves. Stone Edge is pretty powerful after three Swords Dances.
The Physical Attacker

Floatzel - Life Orb
Swift Swim
Adamant
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 216 Spe
~ Waterfall
~ Ice Punch
~ Rain Dance
~ Crunch

Floatzel.. my favourite pokémon. First it uses Rain Dance to boost the speed. Waterfall is for STAB move and Crunch for Psychics and Ghosts.
Ice Punch for Grasses and other things.
The Special Wall
cradily.png

Cradily - Leftovers
Suction Cups
Careful
EVs: 220 HP / 176 Def / 114 SpD
~ Rock Slide
~ Recover
~ Toxic
~ Protect

Cradily is the Special Wall of this team. Toxic for poison support and Protect to protecting for Ice Beams and other bad attacks. Recover for healing (ofcourse) and Rock Slide to dealing some damage.
The Neutral
pidgeot.png

Pidgeot - Leftovers
Keen Eye
Timid
EVs: 252 HP / 112 SpA / 144 Spe
~ Roost
~ Return
~ U-Turn
~ FeatherDance

I chose Pidgeot cuz I want a Flying poké to this team.
FeatherDance is for lowering foes Attack stats and Return to reliable STAB. Roost for healing and U-Turn to scouting.
The Spikes Supporter
qwilfish.png

Qwilfish - Focus Sash
Poison Point
Adamant
~ Spikes
~ Explosion
~ Poison Jab
~ Waterfall

Qwilfish is the Spikes Supporter of my team. Laids some Spikes to opponents side and Poison Jab for Grasses and other Waters.
Waterfall for STAB move. When theres only 1 HP left, I use Explosion.

The lategame sweeper
toxicroak.png

Toxicroak - Life Orb
Dry Skin
Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 Def / 252 Spe
~ Rain Dance
~ Dark Pulse
~ Swords Dance
~ Cross Chop

Toxicroak is my lategame sweeper. Rain Dance for healing with Dry Skin and Swords Dance for boosting attack. After three SDs, Toxicroak is a beast. Cross Chop for fighting STAB and Dark Pulse for Psychics and Ghosts. Dark Pulse could be surprise.

So that is my second team. :toast:

I don't play UU, but I'll throw in a suggestion or two.

So at a glance, only you're more offensive Rain abusers have Rain Dance, which is a no no. In fact, having a wall without Rain or Spikes support completely slows offensive Rain teams. I would recommend replacing Cradily with a new lead who could set up both Stealth Rocks and 8 turns of Rain Dance(lead Kabutops I think isn't too effective, but if it is, then just get something for Rain Support).Try something like Uxie.

Qwilfish doen't want Spikes since he doesn't really survive much hits, so put on Swords Dance for an offensive boost. Not really sure about Pigeot, it's sorta out of place, maybe give it Rain Dance and you could open up another slot for Kabutops or Floatzel.

Most of you're team is physical, so a sturdy physical wall will give you trouble. Try Ludicolo, who is just a monster in Rain. Or you could use him as you're late game sweeper, by using a baiting strategy with Toxicroak. You could run a Nasty Plot mix sweeper on Toxicroak. Send him in a Chansey or something, and it'll switch out expecting a physical variant. Nasty Plot on the switch and kill the incoming Pokemon. Chansey will come in, expecting a pure Special variant and kill it with Cross Chop. Now with the opponents special wall out of the way, Ludicolo will run through his team with ease.

Ehh, I don't play UU, but just have experience with Rain Dance in OU, so some of suggestions could be stupid for UU. Anyways, hope I helped!

You need to understand the physical special split in d/p/pt. I cant really rate this as without it this team makes very little sense read the guide to competetive battling.

OK, I have a problem with this team. My main problem is that the pokemon do not provide enough synergy with each other, a req for playing in the UU enviroment. You should look to walls to set up rain dance yet provide useful resistances that the team needs and can take advantage of the rain in some way. Also, currently, Kabutops does not work well as a lead because of Roserade and Electrode.

However, if you can edit this team some so that it does not seem so... haphazard, I will be glad to identify some of your other problems.

EDIT: I agree with Steelrage, iKitsune was incorrect, Special T-Croak is viable.

Except the Croak dark pulse one, he/she has the split correct. All his/her physical sweepers have physical moves. (Dont think he/her has any special sweepers) Pointless comment.

Pidgeot has Timid w/ 112 SAtk EVs, yet no special attacks.

These are the changes I think you should make:
1). Get rid of Pidgeot. It's misplaced. We're going to take your Pidgeot and replace it with this Uxie:

Uxie @ Damp Rock
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpDef
- Rain Dance
- Stealth Rock
- Yawn
- Psychic / Reflect / Light Screen / Etc.

This is going to be your lead.
2). Get rid of Rain Dance on your valued sweepers. It's important to have Rain Dance on one or two of them, but not all.
3). You're not going to want a Focus Sash on Qwilfish. Rocks/Spikes are common enough that it isn't worth it. I suggest another Pokemon with Rain Dance and a Damp Rock on here, and then you have your dedicated Rain Dancers. If you don't want to do that, a Swords Dance set would be nice. Or a special sweeper, as you don't have one.
4). I don't know what Cradily is doing, but I suggest Stockpile over Protect, as 3 Stockpiles make you frustratingly bulky, and Protect isn't doing much (Cradily resists Explosion and Ice Beam is neutral, actually).

I agree with greg3064's Uxie suggestion. Use that Uxie, but with U-turn as the last move. Damp Rock and Rain Dance are obvious for a Rain Team. Stealth Rock is a great move, especially on leads, dealing a massive amount of residual damage to your opponent by the end of the match. Yawn is to force a switch or put the opponent to sleep. U-turn is to Scout. It works well with Yawn - after using Yawn, U-turn to see what your opponent sent in, and send in an appropriate pokemon. It's even more important on Weather Uxie, for after setting up Rain Dance, you can U-turn to quickly send in a Swift Swim sweeper without letting the sweeper get hurt.

Qwilfish's EVs are absent. With your moveset, I'll recommend 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def, to maximise both the damage it inflicts and it's durability so it can set up Spikes.

I don't see any major advantage that Cradily has over Blissey as a Special Wall. Chansey has much better SDef. She can use Wish instead of Recover to heal the entire team as opposed to just herself. This is especially useful for Uxie, your physical wall who lacks recovery, and Qwilfish to set up Spikes. So replace Cradily with Chansey:
Calm - Leftovers
Toxic
Protect
Wish
Seimsic Toss
252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 HP
The EVs maximise her defensive potential.

Toxicroak gains little benefit from setting up Rain Dance. He doesn't have the time for the job with his frail defences, especially when he wants to abuse Swords Dance. Replace Rain Dance and Dark Pulse (for a reason said by Steelrage) with Sucker Punch and Stone Edge. Sucker Punch is a physical Dark move, and it's priority is great against fast and frail sweepers, especially with a SD Boost. Stone Edge is for type coverage.

Kabutops should be Adamant. He'll deal more damage, and he already has enough speed to outrun +speed natures Scarfed base 100 pokemon. Floatzel has more speed than this Kabutops, and he can outrun the extremely few pokemon that might outrun a Swift Swim boosted Kabutops.
