My second warstory.

It's me again, and this is my second warstory against finallygacy.
I battled him once and lost barely against his OU team with my BL team. This time I decided to take notes.
The first number in the bracets is damage token that turn, and the second number is health left.
This way I don't have to state leftovers/sandstorm ect.

I sent out victreebel
he sends out gengar.

Dang, whats up with the gengar hype BTW? EVERYBODY I face uses gengar unless they don't use OU whatsoever.
I don't understand whats so great about him except hypnosis, wich I am about to eat. I can usually counter
them with ease, but then they are not leading. Anyway, with lack off a sleepabsorber I stay in and hope he misses so I can sleep him.

Gengar used hypnosis
Victreebel fell asleep.
Gengar (0/100)
Victreebel sleeping (0/100)

Like I thought, hypnosis, wich never-ever misses, whilst my sleep-powder WITH wide-lens
(even without it has higher accuaracy) seems to miss 50% of the time. Gengar is a specialpokemon so I'll switch to my
specialwall, who is also immune to explosion.

I sent out spiritomb
Gengar used shadowball 35% damage
Gengar (0/100)
Spiritomb (35/70)

I could sucker-punch him, but seeing how little damage shadowball did, I don't think he'll be hanging around.

"Gengar return" shouted finallygacy
"No, you don't", thought spiritomb, as he pursuited him for 95% damage.
Finallygacy sends out metagross
Gengar (95/5)
Spiritomb (0/75)
Metagross (0/100)

Don't know what he is running, but a burn will criple him.

Metagross used meteormash 75% ko
Spiritomb (75/0)
Metagross (0/90)

1-0 Finallygacy.

Ouch, didn't expect that to KO me. Seeing the amount of damage it dealth, it has to be adamant.
Looking back I sould have switched in something else, but it didn't backfire.

I sent out kingdra

Kingdra used raindance
Metagross used agility
Kingdra (0/100)
Metagross +2 speed (0/90)

As I could have expected, it was an agility gross. Lets hydropump it to oblivious, and if blissey shows her face, I have a nice surprise.

Finallygacy sends out milotic
Kingdra used hydropump, it missed
Milotic (0/100)
Kingdra (0/100)

I just hate it when people don't have blissey in these situations. Water-type walls >_>. Well, it can't stall out calm-minds though.

I sent out slowbro
Milotic used icebeam 10% damage
Milotic (0/100)
Slowbro (10/95)

Time to set up.

Finallygacy sends out metagross
Slowbro used calm-mind
Metagross (0/90)
Slowbro (0/100)

I had a battle in wich a metagross exploded on my slowbro killing it off with a crit (it was burned, without the critical hit I would have survived) to prevent a sweep. I think he is going to do the same thing here.
Why else would you switch in a metagross on slowbro?

I sent out victreebel
Metagross used EarthQuake 90%
Victreebel sleep (90/10)
Metagross (0/80)

Why didn't he exploded? Doesn't he know that Earthquake does lousy damage on slowbro... Anyway I try to sleep it as victreebel just lost it's uses. But on the other hand, I am fairly sure he doesn't have explosion.
Victreebel is sleeping, wich I don't understand, how can he still be sleeping after that Earthquake?

Metagross used agility
Victreebel sleep (0/10)
Metagross +2 speed (0/80)

Well, that was to be expected. Lets sacrifice the plant.

Metagross used ice-punch 10% damage and KO
Victreebel (10/0)
Metagross +2 speed (0/70)

2-0 Finallygacy

Now I KNOW he doesn't have explosion, what a wonderfull thing. It means slowbro can rip through his team if not for gengar. But first I have to take care of metagross.

I sent out gastrodon.

This thing is a beast and most people don't know the danger of it, I just have to counter his EQ for the KO.

Finallygacy sends out gengar
Gastrodon used counter (fail)
Gengar (0/5)
Gastrodon (0/100)

>_>, yes gastrodon is so scary it makes metagross run away in fear. It was a smart move from him, but I don't quite see why he did that. Maybe he knew about counter (wich would be a first), but I think he predicted an EQ. Anyway, this is were my laziness bites me for not having more than 19 attack IV on spiritomb.

Gengar used hypnosis
Gastrodon fell asleep.
Gengar (0/5)
Gastrodon sleep (0/100)

I hope I wake up to mirrorcoat him.

Gengar used shadowball 40% and gastrodons Sp.def fell.
Gastrodon is fast asleep.
Gengar (0/5)
Gastrodon -1 Sp.def (40/65)

Ouch, I didn't wake up, took damage AND my sp.def dropped. Time to switch out.

I sent out scizor
Gengar used shadowball 30%
Scizor (30/70)
Gengar (0/5)

I think he'll be switching, as I don't see him eating an ironhead. So I choose swordsdance, on the switch. It appears, though, that he was willing to sacrifice his gar.

Gengar used focusblast 50%
Scizor used swordsdance
Scizor +2 Att (50/20)
Gengar (0/5)

I can only hope he'll miss, this was very stupid from my part. I see a 6-0 sweep coming, and am thinking to stop taking notes. Luckely I didn't.

Gengar used thunderbolt 20% KO
Gengar (0/5)
Scizor (20/0)

3-0 Finallygacy

I know that kingdra can survive any of his attacks, so I switch him in.

I sent out kingdra
Gengar used shadowball 50%
Kingdra used raindance
Gengar (0/5)
Kingdra (50/50)

Again, I should have attacked him. Now I used icebeam to make sure I didn't mis him. I should have used Draco-meteor, to hit the milotic switchin.

Finallygacy sends out milotic
Kingdra used icebeam 10%
Kingdra (0/50)
Milotic (10/95)

Should have seen this coming, time to switch to slowbro for a free calm-mind.

I send out slowbro
Milotic used icebeam 10%
Slowbro (10/95)
Milotic (0/100)

As I said, time to calm-mind.

Finallygacy sends out metagross
Slowbro used calmmind.
Metagross (0/70)
Slowbro +1 Sp.att and Sp.def (0/100)

This is the ideal set up for slowbro, I get to damge metagross (life-orb) whilst using calmmind. Metagrosses attacks don't do much to a max def/hp slowbro.

Metagross used EQ 30%
Slowbro used calmmind.
Metagross (0/60)
Slowbro +2 Sp.att and Sp.def (30/75)

Time to recover the next EQ.

Metagross used EQ 30%
Slowbro used slackoff and restored to 95% health
Metagross (0/50)
Slowbro +2 Sp.att and Sp.def (30/100)

Time to finish this metagross, although looking back I should have kept using calmmind. I still feared explosion here as I didn't pay attention to his moves, because I was busy writing. This is something to remember,
if you're taking notes, remember to look back once in awhile.

Metagross used meteormash, it's a criticalhit, 50%.
Slowbro used surf 40% ko
Metagross (40/0)
Slowbro (50/55)

3-1 Finallygacy

50% damage from neutral adamand life-orbed STABED metormash, this is very good. Although the crit does hurt me. But I have my first KO.

Finallygace sends out skarmory

It's going to roar, I hope two calmminds are enough to KO it.

Slowbro used surf 90%
Skarmory used roar
Kingdra was dragged out
Skarmory (90/15)
Slowbro (0/55)
Kingdra (0/50)

This time I am not falling for the switch to milotic, I am KO-ing skarmory whilst he tries to roost on my rain-dance turn.

Kingdra used hyro-pump 15% KO
Skarmory (15/0)
Kingdra (0/50)

3-2 Finallygacy.

That payed off this time. And I am making a comeback.

Fianllygacy sends out gengar

It is trying to KO me with shadowball, what he doesn't know is that I have 151 hp from my 300 hp. I should have used icebeam, but I tried to dance again...

Gengar used shadowball 45%
Kingdra ate his petayaberry
Kingdra used raindance
Gengar (0/5)
Kingdra +1 Sp.att (45/5)

This next turn shows why it is good to pick off weak pokemon first and stat-up later. Or use draco-meteor when you know they'll probably switch into a wall.

Finallygacy sends out tyranitar
Tyranitars sandstream whiped up a sandstorm
Kingdra used icebeam 40%
Tyranitar (40/60)
Kingdra +1 Sp.att (0/1)

Sandstorm leaves me with 1 hp, not that it matters much because he is faster. I should have beamed gengar.

Tyranitar used crunch 1 whoping hp! KO
Tyranitar (0/60)
Kingdra (1/0)

Gastrodon can take his hits, but he has to wake up. He knows about counter so I think he'll either stat-up or switch if he doesn't have Dragon-dance.

I sent out gastrodon

Tyranitar used dragon-dance
Gastrodon woke-up
Gastrodon used recover to max health.
Tyranitar (0/60)
Gastrodon (0/100)

He'll probably continue to set-up, so I'll icebeam. Hoping for some freezehax, as otherwise this game is over.

Tyranitar used crunch 50%
Gastrodon used icebeam 20%, it's a critical hit, tyranitar was frozen.
Tyranitar (20/40)
Gastrodon (50/55)

This was a haxy turn, but I am not complaining. If anything he is lucky that I didn't select counter.

The next 3 turns is gastrodon recovering and KO-ing a frozen tyrnitar.

4-3 Finallygacy.

Finally gacy sends out milotic.

Time to try and set up my slowbro again.

I sent out slowbro
Milotic used surf 5%
Milotic (0/95) Lefts before sandstorm at 100%, so sandstorm didn't get neutralized.
Slowbro (5/50)

First of all I am going to recover.

Finallygacy sends out garchomp
Slowbro used slackoff to max health
Slowbro (0/95) Same story as by milotic
Garchomp (0/100)

Please be a scarfchomp, please be a scarfchomp. If you are I get free calm-minds, if you're not I get a death hermitcrab.

Garchomp used swordsdance
Slowbro used slack-off (restoring the 5% sandstorm damage.)
Garchomp +2 Att (0/100)
Slowbro (0/95)

I used slack-off to scout for choice-band, Scarf'd outrage would do less than 50%, but if it was banded I would have to rely on confusion. It turned out to be the worst kind of chomp. I am just glad it didn't use
substitute.

Garchomp used EQ 70%
Slowbro used psychic 35%
Garchomp (35/65)
Slowbro (70/25)

Slowbro's defences are massive to be able to survive that blow. Too bad his Sp.att isn't near as good without boosts.

Garchomp used EQ 25% ko
Garchomp (0/65)
Slowbro (25/0)

5-3 Finallygacy.

That was not good, I think I have lost this game. I know I can KO this chomp with gastrodon, but to KO gengar and milotic gastrodon needs to be at full health. It is possible if he Swordsdances to make sure
I don't counter it back. So I use icebeam, for that odd chance off happening.

I sent out gastrodon
Garchomp used EQ 95%
Gastrodon used icebeam 65% KO
Garchomp (65/0)
Gastrodon (95/10)

5-4 Finallygacy

Well this was it, gg.

Finallygacy sends out milotic

He sends out milotic? Maybe not all is lost then, gastrodon has very good specialdefence. It can survive a grassknot (60BP quad effective) attack from a max Sp.att espeon (375). And milotic doesn't have to great specialattack without investment , so maybe, just maybe I can still win this.

Milotic used surf 10% ko

Finallygacy wins 6-4.

Aww, checking damage calcs:

neutral nature milotic 0EV's 31 IV's against max HP 0 EV's 25 IV's neutral nature gastrodon: 30-35%

That does more than I thought, but it does make more sence.

Pro's:
Gastrodon for killing TTar and garchomp, and metagross if he didn't run away (counter would have KO'd).
Gastrodon would have been able to KO 3 of the 5 big five pokemon, something worth to mention.
Victreebel for absorbing sleep.
Finallygacy for a great match.

Cons:
Scizor for not doing anything at all.
Spiritomb for not KO-ing gengar.
Freeze hax, It helped me a lot. On my defence though, if he would have used crunch again I would have survived thanks to leftovers, and counterd him.

Please comment.

Really hard to read. Couldn't even figure out most of what you said. The whole Health thing is just weird. Don't get it.

For the health thing, it might be best to have just done what the poke's health was at the end of the turn. We don't really need to know how much damage it took again.

What. I didn't find it hard to read at all.

(health lost / health remaining) isn't that complicated.

Did I miss where you state what your hold items were?

(health lost/health Remaining)? Gengar used shadowball 40% and gastrodons Sp.def fell. Gastrodon is fast asleep. Gengar (0/5) Gastrodon -1 Sp.def (40/65) Gastrodon lost 40 hp and has 65 remaining? 105% hp?

Nice warstory Fenikkusu it would have been nice to have knocked out metagross earlier within the battle but other than that nice warstory.

In case you didn't notice, I used multiples of 5% for damage and recovering. I don't say it recovered with leftovers, but if it has more health than damage took away, it means it has leftovers. Of course spelling is bad, and I can't really fix it because I don't have an english spelling correcter. And no, the button in the "quick post" screen does not work either.

And what did you mean whith format changes Stoo99?
