my shocking team

so this will be my first smogon forum post

ha here we go

419.png

Floatzel @ Muscle Band/Life Orb
jolly
252 atk, 252 spd, 6 hp
-bulk up
-waterfall
-ice fang
-brick break

my dragonkiller, firekiller, darkkiller, and so much more
I personally like using floatzel because it is strong and surprising and I often get team sweeps using my floatzel, plus people come unprepared for this weasel. What item should I use?

salamence_2.jpg

Salamence @ Lum Berry
adamant
252 atk, 252 spd, 6hp
-DD
-dragon claw
-EQ
-crunch

I thought of using a specsmence or a mixmence, but I realize that their power increases but their speed doesn't. So with a ddmence I can outspeed so many threats and usually OHKO them. Dragon Claw for stab, crunch for those psychis and ghosts, EQ for coverage. Lum Berry so no status can stop my salamence's sweep.

gardevoir.png

Gardevoir @ Leftovers
modest
252 HP, 48 SpAtk, 176 SpDef, 34 Speed
trace ability
-Psychic
-Wish
-Will-o-Wisp
-Thunderbolt

My special sweeper, healer, burner and tracer! It has a nice ability giving free switches to levitating EQers, volt absorb, water absorb, motor drive and much more. Although she can't OHKO skarm with her tbolt she still does some decent job at sweeping and supporting the team.

468.png

Togekiss @ Wise Glasses
timid
64 Hp, 252 SpAtk, 194 Speed
serene grace (duh!)
-Aura Sphere
-Air Slash
-Flamethrower
-Tri Attack

My primary special sweeper. Her flamethrower can ohko skarm, plus she can do many flich-hax. She usuallyends up as my late-game sweeper when my opponent's party is weakened already.

Blissey.bmp

Blissey @ Leftovers
bold
252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SDEF
natural cure

-Softboiled
-Thunder Wave
-Aromatherapy
-Seismic Toss

My special wall, cleric and paralyzer. She does a good job at paralyzing my opponent's sweeper to open an opportunity for my sweepers to have fun. She also cures all status ailments. And lastly she has seismic toss, but should I change it with Ice Beam?

437bronzong.gif

Bronzong @ Leftovers
impish
200HP 252Def 58Sdef
Levitate

-Toxic
-Stealth Rock
-Gyro Ball
-Rest

My dragon counter. It can sponge outrage, draco meteor, dragon claw, and just hit those dragons with toxic or gyro ball. Of course it's first priority is to setup stealth rock. Unluckily its only way of healing is through rest. And it also is my hypnosis sponge.

Please rate my team.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Yeah and my team ain't shocking right.

*For those of you guys who think my explanations are kinda weird, sorry because I was kinda in a hurry*

now i have fixed my ev spreads...

nah, if i paralyze it with bliss, togekiss will outspeed it and ohko it with aura sphere, not really a big problem, but I'll have a problem switching togekiss in...

You might want to use a rapid spinner due to mence and kiss being affected by stealth rocks. they can't heal themselves, and if gardevoir is dead, you could be in a mess if your opponent has you in a tight spot.

you also might want to consider using reflect over stealth rocks on bronzong. floatzel, mence, and gardevoir are pretty frail defensively and this would benefit you in case gardevoir is being pursuited, etc.

since you are using floatzel as a sweeper, I'd recommend that you use life orb. Now, I know that you're using stealth rocks on bronzong to help you sweep, although you might want to consider running/trying out reflect; you might be surprised.

as for blissey, I see ghost pokemon giving you a problem; granted you could always twave them, but that is about it. if she's the last poke on your team, and their ghost has taunt, you are pretty screwed. you might want to try shadow ball over Twave, and if you are intent on using twave, u could always give it to Togekiss.

Btw, you said your bronzong is your sleep absorber; you could opt to run sleep talk on stealth rocks as well; that way your not just waiting for your zong to wake up after it has rested.

I really like that fact that you're using gardevoir. She's one of my favorite pokemon, and she is really underestimated, screwing up a lot of pokemon. Just beware of pursuit and you'll be fine.

Please put the evs as numbers, that way we can correct or improve spreads, thanks. I do not really have much to say. I would actually put Expert Belt > Muscle Band/Life Orb on Floatzel. More power than Muscle Band, and no recoil like Life Orb.

SD Luke will cause some trouble with SR support, as will CBCross.
Gliscor covers both nicely as well as counters most Dragon sets.

You really need to post definitive EV spreads, otherwise it is difficult to rate.

Who should i replace and what spinner? And if I remove SR from Bronzong I won't have any setupper anymore, and my strategy is to assure all the ghosts are taken care of before the game lasts too long, so bliss should have no problem, but I think I'll replace Seistoss with Ice Beam.

Gardevoir can shock pursuiters bcoz she will burn them.

I might just put reflect on Bronzong...

Yea, I didn't notice it by you are hera weak. My suggestion is to also put gliscor in there; maybe EQ, Aerial Ace, Knock Off, Stealth Rock should do the trick, although you might opt to use ice fang instead due to floatzel being the only pokemon on your team that knows ice fang.

Also, you might want to consider using taunt on floatzel; he can screw up a lot of leads (gyarados) and bronzong, then just bulk up and sweep from there. If you decide to run gliscor, you can run taunt on him as well (you need either a taunter, a hazer, or pseudo-hazer because your team doesn't have any - this is a major problem because wobbuffet can wreck your team, or baton passing teams will sweep through your entire team).

You could opt to put ice beam on blissey as well; it would help counteract your lack of options vs. dragons/ice weaks. If you run gliscor, he'll be your physical wall/heracross counter/stealth rocker upper, so you won't need bronzong (seeing as blissey is your special wall). If you do this, you make yourself prone to not being able to counteract dragon atks, as they hit things pretty hard...so maybe you should keep bronzong in and possibly get rid of togekiss? You already have a special sweeper (gardevoir who is wish passing too+trace which makes her more important).

As for your spinner, I was going to suggest forretress because he could have been your physical wall and spinner in one, but you need gliscor more due to being hera SDLuke weak and CBGross weak. You also seem intent on running floatzel, so your options are limited. If SR hasn't been giving you problems then don't worry about a spinner. If you decide to get rid of togekiss for gliscor then you really won't need a spinner, because only mence will be the only one weak to SR. Also, if you find gardevoir not really sweeping much, you could make mence Specsmence or MixMence (depending on your playstyle).
