My sun team

Well, before I list just want to let you know that it's not a full sun team. I'm not abusing the sun team like 4 pokes with chlorophyll etc. Anyways, here.

Ninetales
(Ability-Drought)
(Nature-Timid)
(Item-Focus Sash)
(EVs: speed 252 and special attack 252
(Moves:Nastly Plot, Magic Coat <--- just for the fun, Fire Blast, Energy Ball)

Well, It's my lead and with drought I'll be able to have sun up forever until some other poke uses a weather move. Anyways, drought is mostly for Victini and Exeggutor. With Sash and Nastly Pllot, I can make a quick set up if I ever have to. Fire Blast Is pretty powerful already as it is and with sun it can be deadly, along with a Nastly Plot. Energy Ball makes a great addition for countering a few types that I can't take out since I don't have any water types. Magic Coat? Well, I just put it there for fun. It hasn't helped me yet, but I'm sure it will sometime.

Gliscor<--- standard
(Ability-Sand Vail)
(Nature-Impish)
(Item-Leftovers-)
(EVs: HP 252 Defense 252)
(Moves: Stealth Rock, Roost, Knock Off, and Earthquake)


Ah yes, the standard Gliscor. Typical Stealth Rocker and a great defensive wall. I don't think you need a description about it. I put Knock Off mainly for taking leftovers away from bulky walls.

Victini
(Ability-Victory Star)
(Nature- Adamant<--- for taking out walls.)
(Item-Choice Band)
(EVs:Attack 252 and Speed 252
(Moves: V-create, Fusion Bolt, Zen Headbutt, and quick attack

Victini, God mode when in the sun. V-create is just all out destructive and when it's used in the sun you can kiss your pokemon goodbye! Choice Band + adamant + stab + sun = at least a 2 hit ko on most high physically defensive fire resistant pokes. I was able to 2 hit ko a max defense Slowbro, so Victini makes a good choice for a sun team. Fusion Bolt also helps me with anything that V-create won't do such as gyaradose or any pokemon that can intimidate me. Zen Headbutt can always be a help if any poison type or fighting type poke comes in. Last but not least, Quick Attack. This is usually for a quick kill or a revenge kill when the opponent has low HP. and with Choice Band it can do a decent amount.

Exeggutor<---standard sun Exeggutor :)
(Ability- Chlorophyll)
(Nature-Modest)
(Item-Life Orb)
(EVs: Special Attack 252 and Speed 252)
(Moves: Sleep Powder, Solar Beam, Psychic, and Synthesis)

Standard Exeggutor is standard. Sleep powder is obviously for bulky walls that can cause threats and of course with chlorophyll it will give me 400+ out speeding most pokes that isn't Deoxys S or Choice Scarfed. Because of sun Solar Beam will hit instantly. Synthesis will help since life orb can ware it down. So put the poke to sleep, Synthesis and back to sweeping. Hopefully no first turn wake up ;)

(Moves:Wish, Toxic, Protect, and Seismic Toss)<--- Yes, I know it's nooby.

The most nooby of the noobs, Blissey. Most people would add 252 def rather than 252 on spc def. I EVed it on spc def because I have nothing against special sweepers like Togekiss, which can is a huge threat against me. Wish is always nice to have just incase you want to heal up some other poke you have. Toxic is basically for stall purposes. The rest I don't need to explain ;)

Hitmonlee
(Ability-Limber)
(Nature-Adamant)
(Item-Life Orb)
(EVs: Attack 252 and Speed 252)
(Moves: Close Combat, Blaze Kick<--- (cuz sun weather),Sucker Punch, and Stone Edge)

My fighting type poke, Hitmonlee. I gotta tell you I've always liked Hitmonlee the best. Great move sets too. Close Combat is always a must have along with Life Orb it is pretty damn powerful. Sucker Punch is always nice to have just incase for those annoying pokes that are faster than it. Blaze kick is mostly because I have sun up and because of the sun Blaze Kick will get a little extra boost. Stone Edge is for those flying types and as you can see I have no other moves that can take out a flying type poke. Limber Is for those predictable thunder waves but then again I have Gliscor to dodge electric moves.

A few weaknesses here and there but what team doesn't? Tell me what you think :)

I'd run a special growth venusaur set over the exuggutor. Sleep powder the foe then set up a growth or 2. A + 2 STAB Life orb'd solarbeam with 50% more speed from sun will rip apart every opponent pokemon. Hidden power fire to take out skarm and any bulky steels. Plus venusaur is a fucking monster.

That's true, the only problem is that I also want Synthesis because if someone decides to fill the field with Spikes and Stealth rocks, then it will end up taking like 30% health and because of the Life Orb I won't be able to get much of a sweep. Btw, I'm sure my opponent would switch after Sleep Powder knowing I'm going to set up. So he/she will switch to something that can obviously wall me, like a Heatran. Exeggutor is also walled by Heatran but at least it has Synthesis.
 
True, then i would get replace HP with synthesis. I could only see a specially defensive skarm as a threat. While your trying to stall or set up, it can just whirlwind. Your victini can come in and just kill it then. I see that venusaur wrecking. As for heatran, whats it gonna do to a max spcl def max hp blissey?

Skarm is no threat to me. Venusaur is pretty much useless with only 1 attack move. Don't get me wrong, I love Venusaur but only for defense. I said something LIKE a Heatran.
 
I guess palm tree can do some work with your set. One thing though, you have sand veil on gliscor, why? Your not gonna have sand up plus poison heal really helps when stalling
 
I have never liked Ninetales with an offensive set, it's way too weak and outspeed by sand sweepers quite easily. Then again it's a matter of self preference. Although I do question focus sash, it seems like if the opponent has rain or sand you are just giving it to them.

Gliscor just has too much of a good move-pool to use stealth rock after they are up it's down to usable moves. Also knock off and earthquake as your attacking moves in tandem isn't that good since if they are earthquake immune and find out your only other move is knock off means free setups too dragonite and landorus with a lack of ice fang.

Run timid with victini as that v-create is already nasty enough so you don't need adamant after that it can outspeed things like landorus, infernape etc barring they don't have speed boosting natures which proves handy.

I second the use of venasaur over eggxecutor as venasaur does has better defensive coverage and has access to growth.

The reason why people prefer 252 def on blissey is because its special bulk is amazing enough and it literally makes its bulk on the physical side 3 times for resilient and that is chansey is preferred to some people.

Hitmonlee is very slow compared to other sweepers in the OU metagame it's either get a scarf just have a bulky set. If you go for the latter pretty much machamp outclasses it even hitmonchan with iron fist boosted sucker punches and a more reliable fire punch(over blaze kick.)
