Infernape
Evil_infernape_by_shinyscyther.jpg

- 182 atk, 252 speed, 74 s.atk
Nature-Naive
Ability-Blaze
Item-Life Orb

ATTACKS
Close combat, Mach Punch, Overheat, Thunderpunch

USED AS...
alright so my starter infernape is pretty basic, it breaks walls, sweeps around and kicks a$$, most people who are familiar with it, in my experience at least, (all 7 days of it) switch to a water type, i usually try to have fun so i damage it up with mach punch, or if i know that my speed is higher than theirs, ill hit it harder.
-------------------------------------------------
Swampert
moz-screenshot.png
Dark_Swampert_by_SilverDolphin324.jpg

-252 hp, -180 def, -74 s.def
Nature-Impish
Ability-Torrent
Item-Leftovers

ATTACKS
Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk, Waterfall

USED AS...
Most useful guy on my team, almost every game he sets himself up and clears 2-3 guys, the fact that he can heal 100% hp in one turn and keep on attacking is awsome. or he can buff while asleep, either way its awsome. this is the one guy on my team i wouldnt change for anything.
------------------------------------------------
Breloom
Breloom_by_FishPhibian.png

255 atk, 255 speed
Nature-Naughty
Ability-Poison Heal
Item-Toxic Orb

ATTACKS
Brick Break, Seed Bomb, SPORE (omg surprise) and Substitute

USED AS...
Awsome striker! what else, lmao. Spore followed by sub, then, ownage. thats his job on my team. usually 1-4 of his attacks are super effective each game, he's pretty good overall, i'd say
------------------------------------------------
Latias
2z3v0rc.png

-255 hp-255 speed
Nature-Timid
Ability-Levitate
Item-Choice Scarf

ATTACKS
Dragon Pulse, Energy Ball, Surf, Trick

USED AS...
It's Latias! with his scarf that sometimes i keep on just for a revenge kill (because my understanding is that a revenge kill is killing a weakened enemy who just owned one of yours) but half the time i trick, and then use my amazing coverage of types to sweep 1-2 guys, he also walls earthquakers, which is also why he's there
-----------------------------------------------
Scizor
Me_and_My_Scizor_by_zeroxcake.png

-255 hp, -255 attack
Nature- Adamant
Ability-Technician
Item-Life Orb

ATTACKS
Bullet Punch, Superpower, Swords Dance, U-Turn

USED AS...
My best friend revenge killer. 99% of the time i'll use bullet punch 2-5 times in a row. i've gotten so many kills like this, it's simply outstanding. i used to have power band (the thing that gives him 591 atk) on him, but he's been even more useful since i let him have a choice of moves w/o switching. If an enemy is at 1-50% hp, ill usually send this soldier in to finish the job.
------------------------------------------------
Houndoom
Houndoom_in_ArtRange2_by_GoldFlareon.png

-6 hp-252 speed, 252 sp.atk
Nature-Hasty
Ability-Flash Fire
Item-Life Orb

ATTACKS
Dark Pulse, Flamethrower, Hidden Power (ice), Nasty Plot

USED AS...
Despite him crying in the picture, my houndoom is no softie. He usually gets the least kills per game, (i find) but he still contributes very much to almost every win. How, you might ask, well he's an outstanding speedy flamethrower user, which i find very

SIDENOTE, i started playin shoddy like a week ago.
my team used to have alot of steel guys, fire owned them alot so now i have fire guys :)
ALSO my original team was "blastoise, charizard, venasaur, zapdos, moltres, articuno", for obvious reasons it's changed lol. i thought i was the best ever, until i battled and got owned by some weird ghost thing (i later found out it was spiritomb) that used trick and i couldnt attack!, i was like...fine, no more playin around. so i googled some stuff and i chose different guys who i liked, who i knew would work together and im happy with what i came up with.

Leave comments!and please if this gets taken off again cuz it lacks stuff that would suck... lol, i apologize again for being new and im grateful for you guys puttin up with me

Hey there, you should definaly replace energy ball on Latias for thunderblot as electric is better for coverage and lets you revenge kill Dragon Dance Gyarados (which your team currently can't do). And besides, you have Breloom to cover for opposing Swamperts and Tyranitars, (the only things energyball/grassknot would help you for over thunderbolt). You might also want to give Draco Meteor a shot over Dragon Plus as the difference in power is quite dramatic and often worth it, despite the sp atk drop. Keep in mind that a neutral damaging draco meteor is stronger then a x2 super effective Surf/Thunderbolt!

Next, you should definaly consider removing Houndoom, especialy since you even admit that it isn't doing all that much during battles. If you really want a fire pokemon on that spot then use Heatran. He is much better then Houndoom thanks to his bulkyness and secondary steel typing, offering nice resistances. Try out this moveset:

Nature- Naive
Item- Life Orb
EVs- 252 Sp Atk, 252 Speed, 4 attack
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Hidden power grass
-Explosion

With hidden power grass you can KO Swamperts and hurt vaporeons, and Explosion is great to eliminate blissys and things like Salamence and Gyarados trying to set up on you.

Also, please change Infernapes moveset to the standard Lead Ape. This team would like Stealth Rock support:

Nature- Naive
Item- Focus Sash
EVs- 56 atk / 252 sp atk / 200 spd
-Fire Blast
-Close Combat
-Fake Out
-Stealth Rock

I gave the LeadApe set 8 more speed EVs over the standard 192 in order to outspeed opposing infernapes using 192 EVs, and those that run 196 to outrun the 192ers lol. The moveset is much better for a lead pokemon then your old one. For one, you can now use Stealth Rock which is a life saver against Salamences and Gyarados. Fake Out breaks the focus sashes that Azelfs and other leads use so you can KO them the next turn, and Fire Blast and Close Combat are your strongest moves that offer exceptable coverage.

Hope I helped.

For Infernape I would suggest using the lead set for the smogon analysis or something similar. for eg you could incorporate stealth rocks onto the set to help the rest of your team mates.

The ev;s on Breloom, Latias and Scizor are not right. There is no point in putting more that 252 ev's into any one stat as the extra 3 do nothing.

With breloom you could try focus punch over Brick Break as you already have Sub in the set which you could fire fp's from behind. Change the nature to Adamant as there is no reason for lowering your sp.def for no reason. At max I would go for 244ev's in speed as above that there isnt much to outspeed with out changing your ability to jolly. Put the rest into Hp.

As you're using latias for revenge killing, i would highly suggest you put 252 ev's into spe. atk to deal more damage to your opponents pokemon. 252spA/252 spe/ 4Hp would be more efficient. Over energy ball I would put Draco meteor or thunderbolt as you already have a strong grass move with Breloom to deal with swampert. If you really wanted a grass move on latias then have grass knot as it will hit tyranitar (one of latias' biggest threats) for more damage.

Change scizors ev's to at least 248Hp/252Atk/8Spe or something from its analysis page.

You only have one dragon resist (scizor) which may be problematic if you cant play around threats such as Salamence.

lol thanks for the comments, but umm is 3 more EV's gona make a difference? 255 is so much easier, and i know the 3 extra are pointless, but i mean what are the chances that you'd win a game from having 1 more attack? or 1 more s.atk lol

and yes replacing houndoom with heatran sounds like a good OU idea lol, i had him on ym team b4 and he was awsome. over-used stuff gets boring tho lol
