My team Remixed RMT

Ok so my previous thread was locked, my bad Taylor :( .
But I have made some change to the team, from suggestions, and want some thoughts:

Ninja (Ninjask) (M) @ Leichi Berry
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 176 HP/252 Atk/80 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Baton Pass
- Protect
- Substitute
- X-Scissor

I changed up a the normal BP set to this, its mostly just a setup for Metagross. I can just sit there sub and protect till I get speed maxed out and BP to Gross for the possible sweep. Another reason for the Sub/Protect is I can get more speed boosts while wasting less health. EVERYTIME I always have enough for another Sub/Protect/Pass. late-game it is great. Leichi added for late-game boost as well.

Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Stealth Rock

I having been cycling this position between Swampert and Gliscor, but I think I am now leaning towards Gliscor. Great Tyranitar/Heracross counter, sets up Stealth Rock, and it has served me well when in a pinch. Swampert is stilla thought for heatrans though...

L337 (Porygonz) @ Leftovers
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Tri Attack
- Dark Pulse
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

My new Special Sweeper, this catches CM BPs from Celebi. Boosted STABx2 Tri attack is just ridiculous. I have, on occasion, BPd Speed Boosts from Ninjask to this thing for an early game sweep. Whichever way it is getting BPd it tends to do alot of damage, usually 2 kills per game at least.

Celebrity (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/80 Def/176 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Grass Knot
- Psychic

This thing now BPs to Porygon-Z. After people have possibly taken out Gross and maybe Gengar not many people seem ready for a second BPer. Psychic > Recover for more attacking power, it never seems to be able to stay alive long enough for a recover anyway.

MoW (Gengar) (M) @ Wide Lens
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

No longer getting BPs from Celebi, its stands alone. Well, not all the time, after I have BPd to Gross I still have enough HP for another Speed boost from Ninjask, so if I am feeling frisky I will BP some speed and sweep.. I started to realize some weaknesses in my play, Weavile, Lucario etc. So I set out to find something that could cover those for me. Originally I used this weird physical Dragonite, but then I came back to realize that Gengar had what I needed, so I made the switch back. This is mostly used to come in and kill stuff that my team is scared of.

Rick Gross (Metagross) @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/244 Atk/12 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Explosion
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake

Maxed speed + massive attack = good. I took off Choice Band so that I am not locked into one move, and it allows me to be more flexible once boosted. And if this thing is still alive late game, and I pass speed + leichi boost........damn. Ice Punch > Bullet Punch for fear of dragons during sweep.

Problems with: Heatran, Gallade

There we go. Hope the descriptions were long enough. Feel free to tear it up :)

I really don't believe that baton passing ninjask is effective at all in the current metagame and therefore invalidates the team in a sense, since it seems to be a large part of the team.

I feel that you should replace it with a Bulky Gyara or possibly CB or DD Ttar if the sand does not bother you that much...

Also, I think that it is funny that you are running wide lense and no hypnosis on Gengar, might be a good idea since it will benefit greatly from the accuracy boost. Rather you could keep the moveset and switch to a choice scarf which might help the team as a whole.

I agree with most of what you said. I have been thinking about setting up another team where it wasn't so baton pass "heavy".

And I am not running Wide lens on Gengar I have fixed that mistake, but apparently not in this thread, I run Expert Belt. I use it since I only use it to take out Poke I fear, and most of Gengar's moves are Super effective to them anyway.

You can't use that logic in pokemon, SimPleeMe ;\

Pretty much, I agree with Woj, Ninjask is not working the current metagame, meaning it will have very little time to set up, if at all. With no more Ninjask, you should consider that you have some big weaknesses. You have no solid counter to Mamoswine, MixApe, and Weavile somewhat. If tou fear heatran, a SpDef oriented Zapdos would work here, countering MixApe, Gengar, Togekiss, and Heatran to some extent, not the best counter, but it works. RestTalk Heatran could work, but you would be better off with Zapdos, because Heatran is not capable to handle MixApe, and it's own mirror. Zapdos should look like 252 HP / 220 SpDef / 36 Spe @ Calm. You should run Thunderbolt + HP Ice, the other 2 movesets can be either Roar / Roost / Sleep Talk / Rest, whichever one benefits better.

The Mamoswine and Weavile can be handled by a Bronzong easy, being a good lead, setting up Stealth Rocks and sleeping pokemon, and wih it's handy resistances, being able to resist alot. Since you have Metagross, I would recommend to replace it with Bronzong, it would fit better, and still have a Deoxys counter. You do lack a Physical sweeper, which can be fixed by adding either something like a Lucario or something that hits hard over Porygon-Z, as you have Gengar doing the special stuff already.

In my opinion, you should go standard Celebi here, to handle Gyarados better, otherwise you have big troubles with it. If you want to keep CM, I you would be better off with Grass Knot > Psychic. Gliscor needs Ice Fang > Aerial Ace, as it counters every Heracross set, and you need more Garchomp coverage.

Alrighty good stuff in there, I like what our are saying. My rebuttle is this:

-Ninjask does infact work. There has only been one time when it didn't, but that was just atrocious gameplay on my part.
-Mamoswine: Gengar Focus Blast, Metagross Meteor Mash, Celebi Grass Knot
-Mixape: This could be a problem, only if it doesn't switch in to try to take out Gross, after I have speed boosted I outrun it and EQ it.
-Weavile: Again another slight problem. BUT if I BP speed to either Gross or Gengar, its dead.
-I am definitely trying out Zappy.
-Just changed Gliscor.

Mixed Mamoswine kills your team pretty consistantly, as it OHKO's Ninjask and Blizzard should OHKO Gliscor, though I am not positive. And Earthquake will definately hurt Metagross like hell. You may need something to atleast intimidate it so it doesn't have high attack and STAB moves that are super effective to 4/6 of your team
