This is my team used for standard battles where no ubers are allowed please rate and be kind:). It is currently 8-0-0 at the moment.
Regirock/Reji @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Clear Body
Evs: 252 HP / 36 Atck / 220 Speed
Nature: Careful
Thunder Wave
Explosion
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
My opening pokemon Reji, i usually start with a thunder wave then i always survive the attack if its earthquake or anything for that matter. Then with the free turn i set up stealth rock. If regi is still there after i tend to explode which wipes my opponent out, or if i know my opponents next move i switch to a big hitter to cause damage.
Gyarados/ RedDragon @ Wacan Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Evs: 252 Atck / 4 Defence / 252 Speed
Nature: Adamant
Ice Fang
Waterfall
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
RedDragon one of my favourite pokemon to use. I start of bringing him in a soon as Reji is gone, i start by using a dragon dance and i know i should be able to survive one attack and if the oppenent has a electric attack the wacan berry will spare me so the next turn im free to unleash power. It has good coverage against beasts like salamance, dragonite and most rock and fire types and should cause sizeable damage to other threats.
Yanmega/ MegaYanma @ Choice Specs
Ability: Tinted Lens
Evs: 252 Sp.Atck/ 252 Speed/ 4 Def
Nature: Timid
U-Turn
Air Slash
Giga Drain
Bug Buzz
Now MegaYanma is good pokemon to catch the opponent off guard, with the oppenent thinking he will have the speed boost ability they will get quite a suprise. I mainly bring it in against a pokemon who hasnt any rock moves and i hope stealth rock will be gone by then and i attack with a not very effective move and with choice specs power and tinted lens it can be quite devastating. Even when the opponent learns what ability its got they may struggle to find something to come in as MegaYana will attack anything, and i have Giga Drain there to deal with water/ground types like Swampert and give megayanma some much needed health, and u-turn to escape if i get in with a rock type opponent.
Forretress/ DiscoBall @ Macho Brace
Ability: Sturdy
Evs: 252 HP / 112 Atck / 144 Def IV Speed 0
Nature: Relaxed
Rapid Spin
Explosion
Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
DiscoBall can be a lifesafer in a battle for the fact that it can rid the field of entry hazards. I usually bring him in on a Attacking pokemon and usually take the hit use rapid spin if needed. if there is no hazard i can use a high powered gyro ball thanks to discoball been so slow. If My opponent has got rid of my entry hazard i can put up stealth rock again or if i feel i need to i can explode on my opponent.
Weavile/ ShadowCat @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Evs: 40 HP / 252 Atck / 216 Speed
Nature: Jolly
Swords Dance
Ice Punch
Night Slash
Brick Break
ShadowCat can come in when there are no entry hazards. Firstly it will swords dance take the hit use the focus sash if need be and then attack with a powered up move i have other ice and normals covered with brick break, ghosts and psychics with night slash and powerful dragons with ice punch. I can Stumble upon a problem if my opponent has moves like bullet punch, ice shard etc.
Lucario/ Deadly @ Salac Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
Evs: 252 Atck / 4 Def / 252 Speed
Nature: Adamant
Reversal
Substitute
Swords Dance
Crunch
This is my favourite combo if it works. Firstly i sub down to access my salac berry and attack back with reversal. sometimes Deadly isnt fast enough and can get attacked so i sub anyway hoping to survive the attack then i can use my berry. Hopefully Entry Hazards will be gone by then and lucario can freely do its thing. Again like ShadowCat Priority moves like bullet punch, ice shard must be avoided. theres crunch in there for the ghosts that think they can join the party and if i have a free move while been a sub i can swords dance for big damage aswell.
So in Nutshell thats my team please tell me what you think what i should change etc it will be appreciated thanks for looking. Some advice would be helpful as im in a tournement soon.
