Celebi @ Occa Berry
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 76 HP/180 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Leaf Storm
- Earth Power
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
---
Despite the many weaknesses works well, and can do impressive damage with leaf storm too. I can always get stealth rock up or u-turn out depending on what the opponent's lead is. Can be quite useful to save for the late game aswell.
Metagross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 28 HP/252 Atk/228 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Thunderpunch
- Ice Punch
- Meteor Mash
---
Good revenge killer, a lot of people don't expect the choice scarf which is nice.
Heatran (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
---
Extremely powerful and hidden power electric is great when people send out gyarados as a counter :p I'm not sure about dragon pulse as the 4th move yet, I've only really used it once or twice.
Azelf @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 SDef
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
- Trick
- Fire Punch
---
I needed another physical attacker and no-one seems to expect this, which is it's biggest benefit. Trick is great for walls, but apart from those 2 pros it's not that great and could be replaced.
Dragonite (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP/108 Def/148 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Heal Bell
- Roost
---
Probably my favourite pokemon of the team, I've had a lot of people just quit on me when they realise they can't do anything to it. I'll usually use it later on when it's less likely to be countered. Also heal bell's nice for the rest of the team.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/156 Def/100 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Toxic
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
---
Not a standard suicune set, but I find it's a great mixed wall. toxic has proved it's use plenty of times and I don't really feel any need to change anything here.
I've been playing for quite a while now, this is my favourite team so far and it's been doing quite well. I've gone with a general theme of legendary and pseudo-legendary pokemon, but I've made sure there was plenty of type coverage and not many common weaknesses.
Breloom with spore, substitute and focus punch can be a real pain, and specs jolteon has caused me trouble when celebi's down.
I don't have anyone to phaze and I don't have much in the terms of status attacks. I'm not sure if having either would improve the team or not.
I think aswell that it might be useful to include a faster pokemon or one with priority moves.
I'd definitely like to hang on to dragonite and probably suicune and celebi aswell. Metagross and heatran don't complement eachother too well so one of them could possibly be changed and azelf could too.
So anyway, any suggestions on those fronts would be nice.
Thanks :)
Tommy
P.S. This is my first RMT post, I'm not sure how to add the pokemon pictures on or where to get them so if anyone could let me know, that'd be great thanks.
