XY OU My Team

Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Frustration
- Earthquake/Close Combat
- Quick Attack/Feint

Standard hard hitting/late game sweeper Mega Pinsir. Close Combat can be used instead of Earthquake to hit Tyranitar, Rotom, Ferrothorn and Skarmory harder, though earthquake can be used to hit heatran, and doublade and overall enables you to be more bulkier because of the stat drops brom Close Combat. Feint can be used to out prioritize extreme speed and talonflame's bravebird though quick attack is stronger. Frustration with 0 HP is there to make ditto's copied frustration do 0 damage as ditto doesn't copy happiness.

Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Scald

Standard scarf keldeo set Not much to explain here. You can switch icy wind or scald for some hidden power to maximize your coverage though the scald burn and speed drop from icy wind can be handy.

Gengar @ Leftovers/Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave

Thing Gengar set is unique. It's mainly used to stop stall as a taunted blissey, chansey can't do anything to Gengar and it forces a lot of mind games and 50/50's with taunt/destiny bond causing your opponent to switch in and out which can hurt if you have stealth rocks up. Shadow Ball and Sludgwave are its main stab moves with near perfect coverage. Life orb can be used instead of Leftovers to hit harder but the recovery is recommended if you want to live long enough to stop stall.

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 140 Atk / 120 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Earthquake/Superpower

Assault vest Tyranitar is my favorite set to run on it. Can tank special hits extremely well under the sand and still hard. 120 special defensive ev's may seem unnecessary but it gives you a bit more special bulk that can allow you to weaken your opponents team even more. 140 ev's with an adamant nature still hits hard. Pokemon that this set checks/Counters are Talonflame, Mega Menetric, Latios and Latias, Mega Vensaur and heatran as it can pursuit trap most of them or at least weaken them with it.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Smack Down/Stone Edge/Knock off

Standard Bulky Landorus Therian with stealth rocks. Smack Down is unique as it can hit skarmory and rotom wash for super effect damage. Stone Edge can be used for a more power and knock off is another alternative to get rid of opponent's items. 16 speed is there to mostly out speed defensive rotom and u-turn out or kill it with EQ after smack down if weakened enough.

Latios (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Psyshock
- Trick/Hidden Power Fire/Sleep Talk

Standard Specs Latios. Trick is mostly used to stop stall even more and stall pokemon do not like to be tricked. Hidden Power fire can be used for more coverage and Sleep talk can be used as a sleep absorber.

Well that's my team that I've been using a lot lately and have been doing decently well with. It first started as a hyper-offensive team as I had things like banded dragonite and specs keldeo and life orb Gengar. But noticed that I had a little trouble with stall so it got transformed to a balanced/Semi - Hyper offensive team. I recently changed Keldeo to scarf as having two specs pokemon got redundant and scarf Keldeo helped me outspeed things greninja and scarf landorus and KO things like Mega Manectric and Thunderus after some prior damage.

Hi, I'm here to rate your team =)

At first glance, it seems solid. However, I would like to make a couple changes to it.

On Pinsir, I do realize you have Earthquake and Feint slashed. I would advise you run Close Combat over Earthquake. Earthquake was only run in the Aegislash metagame to hit Aegislash for good damage. Now that Aegislash is banned, Close Combat hits any target of Earthquake even harder, as well as Air Balloon users such as Excadrill, as well as being able to OHKO Tyranitar, which you can't do with Earthquake. Second, Quick Attack will always be a superior to Feint. Feint is very situational at times, and while it can hit through Protect, the priority and reliability from Quick Attack will always be surperior.

Next, on Tyranitar, I feel a physically defensive spread is best. Tyranitar already gets a special defense boost from Sandstorm, and an Assault Vest will also boost Special Defense by a ton, so a physically defensive spread of 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD is effective in getting good defenses on both sides of the spectrum. Superpower is also not such an awesome move, as it really just hits some targets hard but forces Tyranitar to switch, and Earthquake hits most targets of Superpower hard albeit a bit less hard, but it does not weaken both of Tyranitar's stats.

Next, I completely would advise you use a Life Orb on Latios. Latios appreciates the ability to switch moves as well not being have to forced out every time an opponent comes in. I'd also advise Defog in the last slot, as Mega Pinsir is weak to Stealth Rock by a ton, and your team is prone to being worn down as they all find themselves switching in and out.

I hope I helped, and good luck.
