My Tournament Team

Someone I know is planning to host a 3-2-1 Tournament which involves everyone making a team that has 3 UU pokemon, 2 OU pokemon and 1 Uber pokemon

I have my team and I would really like to some feedback on it

My lead pokemon. Helps me check some of the heavy hitters of OU such as Latias, Jirachi, Heatran ect. I was looking for a UU pokemon that could take on OU pokemon and this fell neatly into that catergory

My Status poke / Special Sweeper. Her goal is to status as many pokemon as possible and kill off whatever it can. Shadow Ball and Hidden Power Fighting give me neutral damage on every type.

Life Orb for the freedom to switch attacks. Hidden Power Electric is for all of the bulky waters who will try to switch in, and trust me, this has saved me a few times.

Now this next pokemon is up for debate because im stuck between two possible choices. Both are listed below

Clasic DDMence. The raw power of at worst of 2HKOing every pokemon in OU is definantly a plus.

~Drill Peck
~Earthquake

With 12 resistances and 894 Attack after a Swords Dance, and Aqua Jet, Empoleon will get at least 1 kill provided it plays out correctly

The Beast.The raw power is undeniable. Calm Mind is just in case I get a chance to set up.

Now any opinions / criticisms are welcomed. I also would like input on whether I should chose Salamence or Empoleon.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
