My try at a team (RMT)

Hey guys, i've been playing shoody for a bit, but never had a real, solid team. So I decided to try making a good team.

Alakazam @Focus sash
252 Speed/252 SpA/4 HP
Hasty

Taunt
Counter
Phychic
Knock off

Fun Alakazam set thats a good lead. Forces stuff like bronzong to attack, then counters for a KO. Can phychic or knock off to do something useful before it dies.

Im also considering a trick set.

Umbreon @Leftovers
252 HP/92 SpD/164 Speed
Careful

Mean look
Wish
Baton bass
Yawn

Umbreon is the best support pokemon ever. Mean look + yawn = :) Also lets me pass wish to a hurt poke while the other trapped poke is still asleep. Fun :)

Dusknoir @Leftovers
252 HP/252 Def/6 SpD
Impish

Shadow sneak
Fire punch
Pain spilt
Will-o-Wisp

Dusknoir is here to do some tanking and be a good physical wall with defencive ev's and WoW. Pain spilt for healing, shadow sneak for priority and STAB.

Infernape @Life orb
24 Atk/252 SpA/232 Speed
Naive

Nasty plot
Flamethrower
Close combat
Grass knot

Standard mixape for some sweeping, cause this team needs moar sweeping. Also kills walls, I guess. (Cress is a problem, I think...)

Dugtrio @Choice band
252 Atk/252 Speed/6 HP
Adamant

Earthquake
Stone edge
Aerial ace
Night slash

Dugtrio for revenge killing. Not much else for dugtrio to do. But revenge killers are amazing.

Cresselia @Leftovers
96 HP/252 SpA/160 Speed
Timid

Calm mind
Moonlight
Phychic
HP fighting

Cress for special tanking and good damage. Hard to kill too. Can outspeed and OHKO hera with psychic after a calm mind, and scarfcross can't do THAT much damage.

So what do you guys think?

3 Pokemon weak to Ghost/Dark moves. Not good to have more then 1 pokemon weak to a certain type IMO let alone 3. Chose one psychic. And even Spiritomb would be better then Dusknoir in this occasion.

You run the same Umbreon set as I do! I love passing a sleeped/trapped oppenent. So evil. However maybe consider changing the EVs to 252Hp/92Def/164spDef. That way Umbreon could take a hit before Baton Passing. Its a bit risky, but if your trying to pass a wish to a frail poke who cannot afford to be hit before being healed, like Dugtrio or Infernape, it could work. Also, with more defensive EVs, Umbreon can take the damage that would otherwise be aimed at the pokemon you Baton Passed too. Of course, this is all assuming that Umbreon hasnt yawned the foe to sleep. If he has, there really isnt any reason to worry about your foe killing the switch in before its healed.
However, if yawning is a priority or you primarily wish for your tank, then I suppose you should leave Umbreon as is.

...And of course. Taunt does destroy Umbreon, as stated above. =/

Concerning your Infernape. Gyarados could come in and resist all of its attacks. You could always revenge kill it with Duggys stone edge, but I doubt hed be able to switch in unless the Gyarados is setting up. Still your two sweepers seem to be stopped cold by Gyara, and your other pokes dont seem too apt to handle it either. Maybe put thunderpunch on Dusknoir so your team has a fighting chance.

Taunt destroys that Umreon :(

Well the award for the most obvious statement.

I cant see that Alakazam getting much done, It can't be flinched by Fake-Out but today there are way more new threats.

Alakazam @ Light Clay
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP|252 Spe|4 Def
Naive/Timid Nature
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Encore
-Knock Off/Psychic

This lets you outspeed Azelf, Encore it's Stealth Rock, then set up Screens, Knock Off if you want or Psychic.

Knock Off screws over all Trickers, while Psychic allows you a STAB, but Bronzong and Azelf will resist.(Go Knock Off)

Taunt vs Encore

Taunt can stop things from setting up, but why waste the time most get back in later game and set up anyway.

Encore, this is what puts Alakazam a bar over Azelf (Higher Speed also), Encore doesnt just stop the Stealth Rock only to be exploded on, it lets you have your Stealth Rock, then ensure it has nothing else to do, counters Dual Screen leads, Specs and Band trickers( Scarf will outspeed you), although most of the time it's safer to just Knock it Off.

And if Azelf doesn't SR ? Say he uses U-turn as I carry on my lead Azelf to scout out the other team. Alakazam is frail so a max attack Azelf takes away 221 MAX Hp on a Max defense Alakazam, assuming Alakazam has 252 HP EVs / 252 Def, then gets to leave the field and switch to a more appropriate pokemon, doesn't sound nice to me. That Zam isn't good.
