Intro: I made this team to hopefully encourage players to pick Pokemon because they like them, not just becuase they are strong. I picked all these pokemon because i like them, no other reason. I made them all work together the best i could.
Raiku @ Life Orb
Timid (+Speed/-Attack)
Pressure
EVS: 4HP/ 252 Special Attack/ 252 Speed
Moves:
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball
Thunder Bolt
Hidden Power (Grass)
Raikou is my Lead and Main Special Sweeper. I chose him because he is a strong and UU Pokémon, along with one of my favorites from the second generation. His pressure is not the most helpful ability, but the Life Orb will increase his damage, along with max Special Attack and Speed EVS. Calm mind is to boost his high special attack, Shadow Ball is for types resistant of Electric and not affected greatly by Hidden Power (Grass), which is used to kill water/rock/ground switch-ins. Thunderbolt is for huge STAB damage, along with the Life Orb, Calm Mind, and massive Special Attack. I would switch him out if he got low health, and bring him back with necessary after a quick Heal from Umbreon. He would be switched back in against Pokémon with high Defence and low Special Defence, or any Pokémon switched in to kill Blaziken, other than ground/rock types if Milotic is still alive (it probably will be.)
Blaziken @ Salac Berry
Jolly (+Speed/-Special Attack)
Blaze
EVS: 4 Defence/ 252 Attack/ 252 Speed
Moves:
Swords Dance
Substitute
Blaze Kick
Reversal
Blaziken is my Physical Sweeper. His Salac berry and Blaze are both for his strategy. His goal is to get low health using Substitute to activate the Salac Berry and Blaze, which powers all of his offensive moves, along with Swords Dance. Substitute is to prevent status problems and to drop his health low enough for the Blaze and Salac berry. Blaze Kick is for STAB, and Reversal gets a STAB too, along with a massive power boost from low health on Blaziken. After he gets the boost from the three, he can take down Blissey and other Special Sponges with his physical attacks with huge power, along with most types other than water and flying, which Raiku/Milotic can easily take out in a switch-in.
Espeon @ Wise Glasses
Timid (+Speed/-Attack)
Synchronize
EVS: 4 Special Defence/ 252 Special Attack/ 252 Speed
Moves:
Calm Mind
Psychic
Hidden Power (Fighting)
Shadow Ball
My other special sweeper is Espeon. He is here to back up/support Raiku. I have him Wise Glasses to boost his damage because he didn’t have the health Raiku has to use a Life Orb, and Synchronize counters the toxi-/para-/pyro shufflers. His EVS are to deal huge amounts of damage before the opponent can even pull off a move. Calm Mind (Raiku has it too, I know) boosts his already incredibly high base special attack of 135. Physchic is for STAB damage, Shadow ball is for Ghost switch-ins, and Hidden Power fighting is for dark/rock switch-ins. I would switch Espeon in for either a type advantage or to kill something Umbreon is weak against so I can pull him out to heal an injured teammate, basically setting up the support.
Umbreon @ Leftovers
Careful (+Spec Defence/-Attack)
Synchronize
EVS: 252 HP/ 164 Speed/ 92 Special Defence
Moves:
Payback
Taunt
Toxic
Wish
Umbreon is my main Support. He is holding the Shell Bell to recover his health when he uses his Payback. Synchronize counters all the toxi-/para-/pyro- shufflers out there. He has HP/Special Defence EVS to be able to survive when he is switched in and the Speed EVS are to get out a quick Heal or Toxic. He is here to heal with Wish, and poison the enemy with Toxic, and allow for switch-ins with Taunt. Payback is to deal damage. I would switch him into Special Sweepers, like Alakazam, and poison them. I could also switch him into walls that rest-talk, etc. and Taunt them so I could switch in a teammate to defeat it and heal them in the process. The Pokémon following this would have an easier time defeat the opponents because it’d be poisoned and/or taunted.
Milotic @ Shell Bell
Bold (+Defence/-Attack)
Marvel Scale
EVS: 248 HP/ 252 Defence/ 8 Speed
Moves:
Hidden Power (Ground)
Ice Beam
Recover
Surf
Milotic is my wall; he is to absorb physical damage. He is holding leftovers to gain health in addition to Recover. Marvel Scale also is to counter toxi-/para-/pyro- shufflers. He is also there to stop Physical Sweepers. He has the HP/Defence EVS. He is good at taking a lot of damage and dealing a decent amount against types he’s strong against. I covered his weakness to electric with Hidden Power (Ground) and grass with Ice Beam. Recover is in addition to leftovers and Surf is for STAB damage. I use him by switching him into physical sweepers or types he’s got an advantage over, to draw out Pokémon that have super effective moves against Milotic. He then kills them using Ice Beam or Hidden Power.
Muk @ Black Sludge
Impish (+Defence/-Special Attack)
Sticky Hold
EVS: 252 HP/ 80 Defence /176 Special Defence
Moves:
Curse
Brick Break
Poison Jab
Shadow Sneak
Muk is my filler Pokémon, along with one of my favorites. He is holding Black Sludge so he can recover health each turn without using leftovers. I know Sticky Hold is countering the fact that it deals damage to non-poison types, but it is more effective in Wi-Fi battles than Stench. He has HP/Defence/Special Defense EVS to take all the damage he can because he is a slow Pokémon. Muk does damage with Brick Break, Poison Jab, and Shadow Sneak, all boosted with Curse. I switch him into grass pokies or Pokémon will low defence that are there to counter my Special Sweepers. His Brick Break is also to destroy any Light Screens setup against my Espeon and Raikou, or Reflects set up against Blaziken.
NOTE: I solely picked Muk because I liked him. If you have any better suggestions, please tell me them, either to improve or replace Muk.
