My UU Stall

Hi
I've been playing shoddybattle for a while, mainly UU, and in my opinion stall is best. This my latest stall team that has gotten me to a respectable rating.

That's the team at a glance so let's get to the RMT.

Nidoqueen@ Leftovers
Bold
Poison Point
252 hp/ 252 def /4 spa
Ice beam
Stealth Rock
Toxic Spikes
Protect

Nidoqueen is my lead mainly just to get Stealth Rock up and to get out. I use Ice beam over Earthquake or other options so I can hit flying types, especially Scyther.
Toxic Spikes is a pretty obvious choice in a stall team while Protect keeps Nidoqueen safe from Fake Out and to Protect lets me scout opponent's moves or just for leftovers recovery.
Afterwards Nidoqueen acts as a glue resisting all of Cloyster's weaknesses, except grass. Nidoqueen also adds a valuable fighting resist to the team and is my only Rock resist on the team.

Tangrowth@ leftovers
Relaxed
Chlorophyll
252 hp / 252def /4 spa
Earthquake
Hidden-Power Ice
Leaf Storm
Synthesis

Tangrowth is the main physical wall on my team and one of the best in the tier. Tangrowth is also really my only defence against physical rain users , surviving a +2 Kabutops Stone Edge and OHKO with Leaf Storm in return. I got the move set from a RMT a while ago by EO ut Mortus and I've used ever since on UU stall teams. Earthquake is to suprise fire types coming in ,HP Ice is for Altraria and grass types like Venusaur while Leaf Storm gives Tangrowth a very powerful STAB move although I'm thinking of changing to Energy Ball.

Clefable@ Leftovers
Calm
Magic Guard
252 hp /252 sp def /4 def
Aromatherapy
Wish
Seisimic Toss
Protect

Clefable is my main special wall and also the main thing keeping my pokes healthy , be it removing status or healing hp. Seismic Toss is a pretty standard put reliable move while Protect let's Clefable heal herself easier. I chose Clefable over Chansey as Clefable is able to take some weak to mediocre physical hits such as a Steelix Earthquake and Clefable also acts as a status absorber with Magic Guard, though Aromatherapy messes with this use sometimes.I would like though to be able to shift Aromatherapy elsewhere on my team so I can run encore.

Cloyster@ Leftovers
Careful
Shell Armour
252 hp/ 4 def/ 252 sp def
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Payback/Avalanche
Ice Shard

My main spiker and a good one too. I use to use Omastar in his place but I found that Omastar's large amount of common weaknesses made it extremely hard to use. Cloyster can also come of any of Nidoqueens weaknesses excluding special psychic and proceed to lay spikes. I haven't decided between Avalanche and Payback as both seem pretty useless and Ice Shard is there to add some priority to the team.Rapid Spin is a pretty obvious choice but his weakness to Stealth Rock is annoying. Cloyster also acts as a physical wall to certain pokemon and he is healed by Clefable.

452.png

Drapion@ Leftovers
Careful
Battle Armour
252 hp/ 12 att/ 244 sp def
Crunch
Whirlwind
Rest
Sleep Talk

My second special wall in my team who is mainly used for phazing with Whirlwind and he is my best answer to Baton Passing. Rest and Sleep Talk are for recovery but Sleep Talk also allows me to get rid of the negative priority of Whirlwind. Crunch is for STAB and probably the only answer to ghosts on my team.Drapion also acts as a status absorber able to recover from them by snoozing.

199.png

Slowking@ Leftovers
Calm
Own Tempo
252 hp/100 def/152 sp def
Surf
Psychic
Calm Mind
Slack Off

I can only describe this glue on my team and as one of my favourite pokes. Slowking takes the majority of attacks on my team and shrugs them off with Slack Off. Surf is a pretty obvious choice while Psychic is for STAB and for catching the Venusaurs who love to switch in on this guy. Slowking is also my reliable Blaziken counter taking all of it's attacks with ease and then KO it with either Psychic or Surf. Also an average Blazikens HP Grass does around 30% with the EV spread above.

When most of my opponents pokemon are knocked out or weakened Slowking can proceed to Calm Mind and then sweep (very slowly though :D) my opponent's team and he is my best answer to things like Curse Registeel.

Well, thanks for reading . I'll be updating this with a threat list and other updates soon. Please Rate.

Ok, first of all I really think you should take off those Toxic Spikes, as the number of grounded poison types in UU is way too expressive. Maybe once Roserade is gone you could try that but for now I'd take that off as it seems just to be wasting turns.
Now on to the team, I noticed you have no spin blocker, and having all your Hazards blasted away by a Donphan after spending 4 turns and a considerable amount of HP doesn't sound really good. for that I reccomend Rotom. His build can vary, but the set I have in mind is:

Rotom@ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spe

-Reflect
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-Will-o-wisp

The idea is setting up Reflect, which helps your teams and boosts Rotom's shabby Defense to a respectable level, and burning the foe, making physical attacks even weaker and slowing chipping their health. Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball are stabs that are always good to have, and allow you to hit those annoying spinners, and the speed is meant for you to get WoW/ Reflect going before your opponent hits you, os just getting the hits in before your opponent does.
You certainly noticed I removed your rocks setup, and I'm also really concerned about Clefable as a special wall in this team, simply because it doesn't take special hits like Chansey and its only selling point is being overshadowed by aromatherapy and by the fact you have a spinner. To give you more solid defenses and rocks back I recommend:

Chansey@ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Def/252 SpD

-Wish
-Protect
-Seismic Toss
-Stealth Rock

This adds a much more efficient way of dealing with special attackers, while retaining the wish passing and having rocks. This brings another problem up though, the lack of an aromatherapist, which could only be solved by dropping one of the moves, most likely Protect and Wish for Solftboiled and Aromatherapy, as 4 out 6 of pokés have ways to heal themselves.

These were just some thoughts about what could be done, and I know by removing some pokés I created some holes on the team, but in my eyes these 2 changes would be very helpful for the team. Also, if you think you don't need a spin blocker, take the advice for Chansey, it's a staple on stall teams for a good reason.
Hope I've helped or at least gave you some ideas =)

As a side note: Slowking has only 504 EVs, you should fix that.

I see no reason not to add Donphan right now over Nidoqueen just because it has that extra bulk and Rapid Spin. Impish Donphan with the EV spread 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def with the movesets Ice Shard / Rapid Spin / Earthquake / Assurance. This way, you have an efficient spinner throughout the course of the match. Earthquake will 3-4HKO Spiritomb at best while Assurance can 2HKO offensive Mismagius and 3HKO defensive Rotom on the switch *take not its with SR down for the most part to get these OHKOes*, which are common Rapid Spin blockers. I feel like you should run a more defensive spread than the standard to take on Honckrow. Ice Shard will check it so don't worry, it might not OHKO but you can bring its HP down to a point where it has one attack left because of Brave Bird and Life Orb recoil.

As for other options, give Power Whip over Leaf Storm a chance on Tangrowth. With a Relaxed nature, your Attack is still respectable to dish out good damage on frailer Pokemon without loosing your Special Attack stat.

Take Bluewind's advice with Chansey if your going to take my idea. With Stealth Rock currently absent on Donphan, Chansey makes a great Stealth Rock user. overall gl.

Thanks for the rates Bluewind and Franky,

Although I usually don't Spike or T-Spike until my opponents rapid spinner/poison types are either dead or unable to get into action having a rapid spin blocker would really help so I'm going to use that rotom set Bluewind kindly provided but I'm against switching Clefable to Chansey mainly for physical bulk. Instead I might switch Slowking with Altaria with Heal Bell so I can free up a slot on Clefable for Stealth Rock.

I'm probably going to switch Leaf Storm with Power Whip as the -spa is annoying. Imight consider Dophan somewhere in my team as Cloyster's weakness to stealth rock is annoying but I'm still not sure.
