Well, I'm trying out UU battling and after a couple weeks of it, I reaqlly like it. :) Well, I'm gonna post my team and see what people think of it so, RATE! :)
Sneak Peek, lol. :
Persian@Silk Scarf/Jolly Nature
EVs: 252Atk 252Spe 4Sp.D/Tecnician
-Fake Out
-U_Turn
-Hypnosis
-Bite
So, this is my lead! This is really appropriate for my username too! Persian is a fantastic lead in UU. It uses Fake Out to get a quick free hit on any non-Ghost type. It's boosted by STAB, Technician, and Silk Scarf, so it's pretty powerful too. Bite is for Ghosts and maybe some more flinch hax. :) And U-Turn is to go to a counter. Hypnosis is to send something snoozing and I'd U-Turn out on their switch in so I can bring in the appropriate pokemon/Counter.
Articuno@Lefovers/Timid Nature
EVs: 252HP 216Spe 40Sp.A/Pressure
-Roost
-Substitute
-Toxic
-Ice Beam
Ah, Articuno.....this is IMO the best, most useful member on my team. Articuno just has to inflict a fairly speedy Toxic and Roost/Substitute until Toxic takes its toll. Ice Beam is for a powerful, reliable STAB attack. This is an amazing set and with all the sleep support I have, it'll be easy to get a free sub up. Read the SubRoost set on the analysis if you really don't know what this bird can really do.
Claydol@Leftovers/Calm Nature
EVs: 252Hp 50Def 100Sp.A 108Sp.D/Levitate
-Reflect
-Stealth rock
-Earth Power
-Shadow Ball
Ok. Claydol. This is an amazing pokemon on any UU team. As you can see, I altered the Utility set's ev's a little and I changed the moveset a little. You'll see why I don't have Rapid Spin on here. Stealh Rock is because my team is likely to cause switches and why not punish them in the process? }:-) Reflect is to support his weaker defense and for the rest of the team. EP and SB are just for some filler attacks.
Ninetales@Life Orb/Timid Nature
EVs: 252Sp.A 252Spe 4Sp.D/Flash Fire
-Nasty Plot
-Fire Blast
-Energy Ball
-Hypnosis
Well, Ninetales is my special sweeper and with all the sleep support I have, it'll be easy to get in, NP up and sweep with a STAB'd 120 Base Power Fire Blast and Energy Ball for things FB can't handle. there are some pokemon she can't hit, but, overall, she's an amzing sweeper I don't plan on replacing anytime soon.
Hitmonlee@Choice Scarf/Adamant Nature
EVs: 252Atk 252Spe 252Sp.D/Limber
-Close Combat
-Blaze Kick
-Stone Edge
-EarthQuake
Ok. Hitmonlee is my revenge killer and Physical sweeper. He kills usually 2-3 pokemon per match. (considering the fact tha I won.) Hitmonlee outspeeds nearly everything in the UU Metagame that is non-scarfed and Electrode is the only thing he can't outspeed. So, he can revenge kill and sweep if he needs too. :)
Blastoise@Leftovers/Calm or Bold Nature(havn't decided yet. lol)
EVs: 252Hp 252Sp.D 4Def
-Surf
-Rapid Spin
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
Out of all the team members on my team, Blastiose is the one I'm the most undecided on. I don't know if I should've posted the Utility or the ZZz set on here. They both work for me really well, but I can't decide! He's just here to wall. If you can, could you please tell me a pokemon that can do the same thing as Blastoise or better?
Well, that's my team! don't hesitate to critizize! I like hearing it! Rate me on anything! My main problems are Shuckles with Rest and Rain Dance teams. Thanks!
