MY UU TEAM! YAY! RATE IT PLEASE!

Well, I'm trying out UU battling and after a couple weeks of it, I reaqlly like it. :) Well, I'm gonna post my team and see what people think of it so, RATE! :)

Sneak Peek, lol. :

Persian@Silk Scarf/Jolly Nature
EVs: 252Atk 252Spe 4Sp.D/Tecnician
-Fake Out
-U_Turn
-Hypnosis
-Bite

So, this is my lead! This is really appropriate for my username too! Persian is a fantastic lead in UU. It uses Fake Out to get a quick free hit on any non-Ghost type. It's boosted by STAB, Technician, and Silk Scarf, so it's pretty powerful too. Bite is for Ghosts and maybe some more flinch hax. :) And U-Turn is to go to a counter. Hypnosis is to send something snoozing and I'd U-Turn out on their switch in so I can bring in the appropriate pokemon/Counter.

articuno.png

Articuno@Lefovers/Timid Nature
EVs: 252HP 216Spe 40Sp.A/Pressure
-Roost
-Substitute
-Toxic
-Ice Beam

Ah, Articuno.....this is IMO the best, most useful member on my team. Articuno just has to inflict a fairly speedy Toxic and Roost/Substitute until Toxic takes its toll. Ice Beam is for a powerful, reliable STAB attack. This is an amazing set and with all the sleep support I have, it'll be easy to get a free sub up. Read the SubRoost set on the analysis if you really don't know what this bird can really do.

claydol.png

Claydol@Leftovers/Calm Nature
EVs: 252Hp 50Def 100Sp.A 108Sp.D/Levitate
-Reflect
-Stealth rock
-Earth Power
-Shadow Ball

Ok. Claydol. This is an amazing pokemon on any UU team. As you can see, I altered the Utility set's ev's a little and I changed the moveset a little. You'll see why I don't have Rapid Spin on here. Stealh Rock is because my team is likely to cause switches and why not punish them in the process? }:-) Reflect is to support his weaker defense and for the rest of the team. EP and SB are just for some filler attacks.

ninetales.png

Ninetales@Life Orb/Timid Nature
EVs: 252Sp.A 252Spe 4Sp.D/Flash Fire
-Nasty Plot
-Fire Blast
-Energy Ball
-Hypnosis

Well, Ninetales is my special sweeper and with all the sleep support I have, it'll be easy to get in, NP up and sweep with a STAB'd 120 Base Power Fire Blast and Energy Ball for things FB can't handle. there are some pokemon she can't hit, but, overall, she's an amzing sweeper I don't plan on replacing anytime soon.

hitmonlee-m.png

Hitmonlee@Choice Scarf/Adamant Nature
EVs: 252Atk 252Spe 252Sp.D/Limber
-Close Combat
-Blaze Kick
-Stone Edge
-EarthQuake

Ok. Hitmonlee is my revenge killer and Physical sweeper. He kills usually 2-3 pokemon per match. (considering the fact tha I won.) Hitmonlee outspeeds nearly everything in the UU Metagame that is non-scarfed and Electrode is the only thing he can't outspeed. So, he can revenge kill and sweep if he needs too. :)

blastoise.png

Blastoise@Leftovers/Calm or Bold Nature(havn't decided yet. lol)
EVs: 252Hp 252Sp.D 4Def
-Surf
-Rapid Spin
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Out of all the team members on my team, Blastiose is the one I'm the most undecided on. I don't know if I should've posted the Utility or the ZZz set on here. They both work for me really well, but I can't decide! He's just here to wall. If you can, could you please tell me a pokemon that can do the same thing as Blastoise or better?

Well, that's my team! don't hesitate to critizize! I like hearing it! Rate me on anything! My main problems are Shuckles with Rest and Rain Dance teams. Thanks!

You dont HAVE to tell us how its boosted you know...
Anyways Id say that you are taking qiute a risk as hypnosis acc is now only 60, and without Wide Lens(Which is recommended against on Persian) its too much of a chance. I'd say have a Taunt Stealth Rock or Trick lead so that you free up a spot on Claydol for something else.

I know its great, but while using it make sure that you keep your Claydol alive! Also I'd suggest taking out all your opponents antispin before using it as Claydol could get walled by Rotom if a Scarf is tricked on.

WTF! I wrote that thing for Articuno assuming you have Spin support! You NEED TO HAVE RAPID SPIN!! I suggest changing Persian for a Taunt SR lead and change SR on Claydol to Rapid Spin

Again, Hypnosis is bad. Use HP Rock, if you read X-Acts move damage list you'll see that Special Rock is 1st or 2nd on the most damaging list.

Oh so pokemon can now have three stats with 252 Evs? Fix that please
Quite OK, but for Scarf Id suggest Primeape, hes faster and beats other ScarfLee...

Dont keep Blastoise as your Spinner, he gets 2hko's be Rotom and Froslass, the two common antispin in UU without OHKO'ng back.
I suggest adding a physical wall like Steelix and making Claydol inclined towards special

Well, that's my team! don't hesitate to critizize! I like hearing it! Rate me on anything! My main problems are Shuckles with Rest and Rain Dance teams. Thanks!

Shucle is stopped cold by Taunt, Rain Dance teams you need to have a counter or a good resist, you dont have even one Water resist apart from Blastoise.

I've never much used Persian, but I'd say this is a more appropriate set with DPPt. Fake Out on the first turn...always. Next, Taunt if you are against a setup lead or a Stealth Rock lead and proceed to set up Stealth Rock as they switch/attack. Really, the point of this is to use your sash to set up rocks even against Scarfed attacking leads. The last slot is up to personal preferance; Bite is a nice, powerful attack that can punish Ghost-types immune to Fake Out, U-Turn lets you flee to a counter while doing okay damage, and Hypnosis to sleep the opponent (if it hits).

Yummy. Terribly annoying to take down and works well with your Rapid Spin support. Not much to say, I like it.

Aaaah! No way are you taking on the fighters of UU with such little defense! Change that to a Standard 252 HP/ 144 Def/ 114 SpA Bold. Well, really, with a Reflect boost I guess there's not really a way for them getting past, so you might consider adding some SpA or SpD to that mix. Rest is a way to heal yourself while Toxic is to inflict others. Ice Beam sports greater coverage and is a personal preferance. I'd like you to try a RestTalk set:

Claydol @ Leftovers
Impish - Levitate
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpD
>Rest
>Sleep Talk
>Earthquake
>Stone Edge/ Ice Beam

Either go completely physical with EQ and Stone Edge, or go with Ice Beam and Earthquake and a Relaxed Nature. You could always throw Toxic or Calm Mind over one of the options in there, as well.

Ninetales needs Hidden Power Rock to hit many of it's counters (like Mantine) at all. Flamethrower over Fire Blast because you can't afford to miss.

Standard and good...really. Not much to say, I don't think. I'd use it over Primeape any day for much more power and better movepool.

It's hard to say what should go here in it's place, as Blastoise is the only real Rapid-Spinning-Bulky-Water in UU. I'd actually like you to put Lanturn here to help against Rain Dance Teams, and work as a reliable counter to UU special threats.

Lanturn @ Leftovers
Calm - Volt Absorb
40 HP / 136 SpA / 252 SpD / 80 Spe
> Surf
> Thunderbolt
> Ice Beam
> Thunder Wave

If you use this, go with Rapid Spin on Claydol.

Well, that's my team! don't hesitate to critizize! I like hearing it! Rate me on anything! My main problems are Shuckles with Rest and Rain Dance teams. Thanks! Taunt now beats shuckle while Rain Dance teams are stopped with Lanturn.

It's a fairly Standard team that seems to work fairly well, but it lacks a goal, really. Anyway, thanks. btw Metal, Claydol is weak to Rotom's and Froslass's STAB attacks, so Blastoise doesn't really have it bad.
