This is my very first post, so please tell me if i do something wrong :-)
This is a UU team, focused around setting up for my sweeper, Darmanitan.
Anyways, here is my team:
Sableye (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpD / 252 HP
Careful nature
- Will-o-wisp
- recover
- Shadow sneak
- Foul play
This is a pretty standard Sableye I guess. I use careful nature, because he has three priority moves with his ability. The Will-o-wisp is important for lowering the Attack of any physical threats to my Darmanitan and Ampharos, because they both have like no defense at all. The recover is for stalling out burn damage, and toxic applied from my team. Shadow sneak is for finishing of opponents/doing a little damage. Foul play is good against physical threats who can hurt my Darmanitan or Ampharos.
Darmanitan (M) @ Life orb
Ability: Sheer force
EVs: 4 SpD / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant nature
- Flare blitz
- U-turn
- Hammer arm
- Rock slide
This is my sweeper. Darmanitan can really hurt everyone in UU. That Sheer force, life orb damage is so high it's incredible. Darmanitan can almost 2HKO everyone in the tier. Flare blitz hurts like hell with Sheer force, life orb. U-turn is to get out of dangerous situations, but it still does a lot of damage.
Hammer arm does a lot of damage, and still lets Darmanitan stay in so he can do damage next turn. The Speed reduce shouldn't be enough to switch out.
I like Rock slide better than Stone edge, because it's more reliable, and it almost does the same as a normal stone edge.
Ampharos (M) @ Ampharosite
Ability: Static / Mold breaker
EVs: 4 SpD / 252 HP / 252 SpA
Modest nature
- Dragon pulse
- Thunderbolt
- Focus blast
- Volt switch
I like Mega Ampharos because it is very specially defensive, and still has a lot of Special attack.
It can 2-3HKO everything that is not very tanky, and usually 1-2HKO everything that it is supereffective against.
This is a pretty standard Mega Ampharos set I guess. STAB Dragon pulse is a very good overall move.
Thunderbolt is good because of STAB and the paralysation hax. Focus blast is a very powerfull move, and can get rid of some really big threats. I like Volt switch, because I can get out of dangerous situations and still do damage.
Lapras (M) @ Assault vest
Ability: Water absorb
EVs: 4 SpA / 252 HP / 252 SpD
Calm nature
- Hydro pump
- Thunderbolt
- Ice beam
- Dragon pulse
Lapras is my Specially defensive wall. I like the Assault vest, because Lapras has a pretty good offensive movepool. Hydro pump gives good STAB damage. Thunder bolt is good for taking out water types. Ice beam gives good STAB damage, good acurracy and good type coverage. Dragon pulse for taking out dangerous dragon types.
Celebi (Genderless) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural cure
EVs: 36 Spe / 220 SpD / 252 HP
Calm nature
- Recover
- Toxic
- Energy Ball
- Psychic
I like to play Celebi more as a support than a Baton passer. Recover is for stalling out toxic damage. Toxic is for damage and weakening enemies for Darmanitan and Ampharos. Energy ball is for STAB and type coverage, seeing as I don't really have anything else for water types except for Lapras' Thunderbolt. Psychic is for powerfull STAB.
Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Roar
This is my setupper. He can Set up rocks and get the enemy's rocks out of the field.
Rapid spin is good for getting the opponents rocks out of the field. Stealth rock is very good as it lowers the enemy on switch, and therefore makes Focus sash useless.
Knock off is so good right now. It can knock off very important items such as Choice items, Leftovers and Eviolite which makes Pokés such as Porygon2 useless.
Roar is good for making your opponent switch out, it can also make them take more stealth rock damage.
