My UU Team

I've been gone from Shoddy for a while, and I come back to see that Raikou and Cresselia have gone up to BL, so I had to create a new team.
~ means they're replaceable.

The Lead

~Ambipom @ Life Orb
Jolly
Technician
EVs - 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
- Fake Out
- Taunt
- Low Kick
- UTurn~
I hate this thing so much that I decided to use it. As gay as it looks, Ambipom is a great lead as Fake Out ruins Focus Sashers and just dents a lead straight from the start. If something switches out after a Fake Out, it's weakened for something else. Low Kick is a great attack and takes out a lot of things that Fake Out barely nicks. Taunt's for Stealth Rocks or Screeners and UTurn is my escape so I can Fake Out again. Could be replaced with any better lead that fits.

The Physical Sweepers

Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Adamant
Torrent
EVs - 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Dragon Dance
After just a few DDs, Feraligatr is a threat to anything and everything. Boasting a huge attack stat and great coverage, little stands in his way as he rips teams apart. And as if he weren't strong enough, if they manage to weaken him but not KO him, Feraligatr's Torrent activates and Waterfall is at a huge 160 base power. Suck on that Gyarados.

Venusaur @ Wide Lens
Jolly
Overgrow
EVs - 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Defense
- Power Whip
- Earthquake ~
- Sleep Powder
- Swords Dance
One of my favorite and one of the greatest, Venusaur is a monstrous force. A 120 Power Whip with stab is brutal, and backed by Swords Dance and OverGrow, it is one of the strongest forces on my team. I decided not to use Life Orb and went with Wide Lens because I've never needed the + 30% and the -10% of my HP really hurt, and Wide Lens puts Power Whip at a whopping 93.5% and Sleep Powder at a respectable 82.5%. I'm not too happy with Earthquake because I've had very few opportunities when it did more damage than Power Whip, and Altaria and Weezing are stopping Venusaur short.

The Special Defense Focus:

Lanturn @ Leftovers
Calm
Volt Absorb
EVs - 40 HP, 76 Defense, 140 Special Attack, 252 Special Defense
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
The standard Lanturn works incredibly well. It walls the attacks that Feraligatr and Venusaur can't take, and it does well on taking down Pokémon on it's own. With arguably the best typing ever, and that GREAT ability, I chose Lanturn over Chansey because not only can it take more physical hits and attacks better, it heals from Electric attacks that would severely damage (if not KO) Feraligatr and Moltres

The Special Sweeper

~ Moltres @ Life Orb
Timid
Pressure
EVs - 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
- Fire Blast
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power (Grass)
- Roost
Moltres is at the top of its game, hitting anything unprepared for a huge amount of HP. My only problem is with Stealth Rocks and lack of a Spinner, my Moltres sees little usage and I either want to replace it with a different sweeper or my following Pokémon with a Rapid Spinner.

The Defense Focus and Auto-Healer:

~ Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Bold
Download
EVs - 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Special Attack
- Discharge
- Ice Beam
- Toxic~
- Recover
I really like Porygon2, because with its Bulk and move-pool it can stall for a long time, and either Discharge resulting is Paralysis or Toxic, putting other Pokémon out of commission, Recover off any damage, and repeat. It also has no problem in taking some Pokémon out as Electric/Ice covers a lot. I'm looking to replace my little duck, however, because if I don't replace Moltres I'll need a Spinner, not only to benefit Moltres but the rest of my team.

Ambipom-I assume you mean Jolly. The set seems fine, well balanced. Beware of ghosts.

Feraligatr-252 speed may very well be wasteful. He would love to have some bulk. 255 speed isn't outspeeding much on the higher spectrum, so you should aim for,

A.Hitting a specific speed number after one DD.
B.No speed investment. With no investment, he outspeeds Jolly Swellow after 2 DDs, and has serious bulk.

Venusaur-Great use of wide lens. If you're finding EQ to be unhelpful, perhaps you should consider dropping it and Swords Dance, and opting for a different sort of role for him to fulfill.

Moltres-Do not use him without a spinner, it's suicide.

Porygon2 seems replacable to me.

I don't feel your team is doing much to distinguish itself as is. All of them are either standard builds or close. With minor tweaking it could go in many different directions.

Which of your pokemon would you most want to keep on the team?

I've got a custom Ferailgatr build in mind, but him, Venusaur, and Lanturn are the only ones I refuse to let go of. I can trade out anything else. Also, Return has started to look nice on Venusaur, especially how Feraligatr already has any Earthquakes covered.

Hi,

Your team lacks Stealth Rock, which is pretty much a necessity on a team like this. So, I recommend replacing your Ambipom lead with a Mesprit, which keeps up offensive momentum, sets up rocks, and provides your team with further Paralysis support. It also easily takes on Hitmontop, who can stop your Feraligatr's sweep cold:

Mesprit@Leftovers
252 HP, 252 Sp Atk, 4 Spe
Modest
- Psychic
- Stealth Rock
- Grass Knot
- Thunder Wave

Using Moltres without Rapid Spin support isn't too wise, and I suggest replacing Porygon2 with a Defensive Hitmontop, who gives you some much needed priority, Rapid Spin, and a way to deal with Rock Polishers like Aggron and Rhyperior, who are also potential threats:
Hitmontop@Leftovers
252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def
Adamant
- Rapid Spin
- Foresight
- Close Combat
- Mach Punch

I don't see why Moltres needs Bright Powder, Life Orb is a much better alternative, as it gives you some important 2HKOs, such as Milotic with Stealth Rock down.

Nice team, and gl.

Mesprit sounds like a good idea, but I've tried Hitmontop and absolutely hate the way it fits. It's stats aren't the greatest and Mismagius always KO's it because foresight wastes a turn. Since I do need Rapid Spin, I'm going to go with Donphan, for great Attack and Defense, Ice Shard, and of course Rapid Spin.
