This team focuses on the sheer overwhelming power of mega ampharos,as it been under-used i just thought why dont i give this a supersaiyan3 like pokemon a shot..

THE TEAM

ampharos-mega.gif

Ampharos-Mega (M) @ Ampharosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Thunderbolt
- Dragon Pulse
- Volt Switch
- Heal Bell

The star of this team. Its one of the most hard hitting special tank in the game, and its typing is cool "the omega dragon/electric";nuff said lets get to the point. The team is built around this thing,it have enormous 165 special attack backed up with descent bulk making it one of the most formidable tank. The evs and nature are pretty straight forward.Since its slow i put modest nature for maximum damage output.Thunderbolt for raw damage and with moldbreaker,it hits lanturn,thunderus-t neglecting their annoying voltabsorbs.Dragon pulse for hitting ground type switchins and it hits descently hard.Volt switch to gain momentum or to switch out safely if feel threatened and finally for the last slot,i dont know what to add and since my team lacks a cleric,i just put heal bell there!

bisharp.gif

Bisharp (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Iron Head

Now i need a good physical attacker which can take down the annoying pink blobs and other fat mons who walls my main star,so bisharp kinda fits this role and from what i have seen it pairs well with mega amphy.Knock off to take down opposing items and it have 97.5 base power if the opponent is holding an item, combining this with stab and lifeorb,it becomes strong as hell reaching a base power of 190!! Sucker punch for priority and iron head for coverage stab and for those pisky fairies.Swords dance to further increase its attack power to insane level and role as a wallbreaker or late game sweeper.Jolly nature is preffered to outspeed uninvested rotom-w,zapdos,and other bulky/stally mons. And evs are invested in max speed and attack.

azumarill.gif

Azumarill (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Belly Drum
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet

I put azumarill here because for the awesome role it has to offer.Being a fairy type it completes my team's dragon/steel/fairy core and with bellydrum it tear holes on opposing teams. Its a standard belly jet
set, with max evs in hp and atttack, and with sitrus berry to regain 25% hp after bellydrum. Its the physical tank of this team.

gengar.gif

Gengar (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Destiny Bond
- Focus Blast

After some time reviewing my team,i found out that i am pretty weak to ground type,so i added gengar as it have levitate which makes it immune to ground.EVS and nature are simple as that, max speed special attacker.Shadow ball and Sludge wave for descent stabs and i like to note that sludge wave is preffered
instead of sludge bomb because as its hits chesnaught with bulletproff and inb4 one shots it.Focus blast for coverage even though it misses 99% of the time and finally destiny bond to take down threats if the other 3 moves cant ko if gengar have few hp left.Life orbs is preffered with increased damage output.

victini.gif

Victini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
- Trick

Now i needed a revenge killer or a scarfer.A descent fire type and here is my fire power-THE **V**ictiny!
Its one of the best scarfers in the game and with its insanely powerful 270 base power V-create with stab it just reks opposing offensive teams.EVS and nature are invested in speed and attack.Jolly nature is preffered to outspeed other scarfers like landorus-t,excadrill and others who have base speed less then 100.Zen Headbutt to hit the likes of keldeo super effectively and for descent secondary stab damage.U-turn to gain momentum and trick to dismantle stally threats.

ferrothorn.gif

Ferrothorn (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Thunder Wave

Lastly i needed a perfect pokemon who can setup rocks and such,so here it is "ferrothorn"
Leech Seed for passive recovery.Gyro Ball to hit mons who have magic bounces like Mega Diances,Espeon.Thunder-wave to paralysis faster threats.EVS and nature to maximize physical defense as its the physical wall of this team.Zero IVs in speed is absolute must to increase thE power of its gyro ball.

This team helped me to get reqs for aegislash suspect- http://prntscr.com/70rgf4
This is one replay beating someone in AG with this team- http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-229797747

Threat list:
Landorus-i-If it gets one rock polish its pretty much over.

Mega Altaria-only way to take it down is to t-wave by ferrothorn and then kill it with playrough,of get a sludge wave on by gengar

Mega Charizard-X-ferrothorn must rely on thunder wave and then kill it with mega ampharos dragon pulse.

Sand offense excadrill-Revenge it Azumarill aqua jet and Bisharp sucker punch, this thing punchture holes in this team.

Conclusion:This team was only created to make mega ampharos fabulous and i hope i get some good tips reguarding this team.THNX

Cool looking team! I agree, Mega Amphy is a beast once it's mega evolved.

Onto the team!

To be honest, if you're building a team around a poke'mon, you start by ticking it's counters off. The first check to cover is ground, and you do that with Azumarill, providing you get a Belly drum off before you get EQ'd (most ground types can do more than 50% of your health with an EQ). The next is dragon (once it's mega) and your Azu covers that too. The last is ice. Azu can cover neutrally with Play rough, but you have Victini there for those ice types (RIP Mamoswine). It seems to me then, that keeping your Amphy healthy is key to you, and those 3 poke'mon complete your "core" - each of those can cover the weaknesses of Amphy and let him shine.

The next thing to consider, then, is the counters of the core protectors of your mon. For example, a +2 Scizor can bullet punch your Azu if you've belly drummed, or a mega Venusaur can wall it and destroy it. Both are these are taken out by Victini, so no worries there.

This is a long-winded way to say your team comp is pretty effective in that they support the rest of your mons, and even take out some of the big threats (RIP Char/T-flame). I've got a few fixes for you though.

Bisharp - I actually use one of these, but in a slightly different set. Because it's so slow, it won't outspeed anything, and i actually invested some points into health. If you'd like to have a look at the set I use, I can post it when I log into my showdown, but from what you've written, it seems like your EVs are well thought out. For now, I'd just recommend Pursuit > Swords dance. Honestly, Bish's attack is fine as it is, more so if you run adamant, and you don't need the power steroid. What Pursuit does is give you a guaranteed OHKO against Lati@s and any frail psychic that switches out, and gives you immense trapping power over any bulky psychic - this limits what damage/stall power said mons have over you, and is generally better coverage, giving you revenge kills on weak targets as well.

Really, there's not much to change when you have a Belly Jet Azu, because it can check so much for neutral damage, so anything I suggest can be handled with Azu.

The only one I have a problem with there is Gengar, because you have the same coverage with Bisharp (with better utility if you run Pursuit) and he's pretty frail. If you didn't have Bish, then Gengar would be fine, but it seems counter productive to me to run both of the same counter-types.

Here's what I suggest:

Move Trick -> Brick break. This gives your team a more reliable fighting type move which pierces walls like reflect and light screen, and breaks them. It's way more accurate that Focus blast too. If you do this, there's no reason to run a Gengar, since your fighting type is on Victini and your ghost type is in Bish's dark coverage. Now, you can add something that gives you poison coverage - From what I can gather, Gengar was your poison/ghost sweeper, checking dragons. How about shifting to a Venusaur? You get sludge bomb still, off a slightly lower Sp.atk, but you get a more tanky poke'mon with two healing moves, and along with Azu, better Ground coverage - the other reason you added Gengar. This removes your 'weakness' to ground while running the same poison coverage, and really just tidies up that overlap of counters.

These are merely suggestions; as I said, there's not much a Belly Jet Azu can't do, and with the core of Azu/Vic/Amphy, you cover each other's weaknesses really well.

Small Nitpicks:
1. Change Thunder Wave/Gyro Ball on Ferrothorn to protect/spikes/knock off. The combination of the two is redundant.
2. Bolt Strike > Trick on Victini. The coverage is extremely useful against defensive water types, such as Slowbro.
3. Taunt > Destiny Bond on Gengar. This allows you to beat things like Chansey.

Lastly, I suggest you change Ampharos to Defog Zapdos, as it allows you to check bird spam better as well as giving you a way to remove hazards, something that can really cripple Victini.
