Ok so this is my very first post on the Smogon forums (as you can probably see), and this is my first ever team. I never played X and Y, so I'm quite happy about this one. (Also I have played Showdown for less than a month)
Sorry for no Pics :(
Chandelure @ Charcoal
Ability: Flame Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 92 HP / 80 Def / 252 SAtk / 84 Spd
Modest Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball
- Night Shade
Chandelure is an amazing pokemon for any team. It has an OP special attack, but the ground moves and stealth rock is its main problem. It has the energy ball for the rock, ground and water types and for neutral types like Fairy it just flamethrows them. I might replace Night Shade with Shadow Ball too.
Greninja @ Expert Belt
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Extrasensory
Who doesn't want a Protean Greninja on their team? It has a wide range of moves with all moves being STAB, with Extrasensory in there for any fighting types and possibly poison types I may encounter.
Dragonite @ Dragon Fang
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
Dragonite is just awesome. It's my friend's favourite pokemon, and I cann see why with the insane amount of attack. The dragon dance will help loads, and with Multiscale that means against any Ice moves he can bulk it out and use Dragon Dance, and with the added speed completely obliterate whatever comes in its way. I am thinking of replacing Earthquake with either Ice Punch or a poison/steel move for the Fairy types.
Togekiss @ Enigma Berry
Ability: Hustle
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 88 HP / 252 SAtk / 24 SDef / 144 Spd
Modest Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Dazzling Gleam
- Flamethrower
- Sky Attack
Togekiss has an amazing moveset and it can kill whatever it wants, whenever it wants. The Enigma Berry will ensure the HP gain from Ice/Rock moves, because from what I've experienced, Togekiss can bulk out any of them moves. Aura Sphere for the Ice types, Flamethrower just because I can, Dazzling Gleam for the STAB, and I am thinking of replacing Sky Attack with a SpA move such as HP Flying.
Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Psychic
- Skill Swap
- Shadow Ball
Mega Gardevoir has some bulk and awesomeness. Skill Swap because when it Mega Evolves it will have the ability Pixilate, and I have no normal moves (although I am thinking of changing Skill Swap for a normal type move). Shadow Ball for the dark types, and Psychic and Dazzling Gleam for the high power STAB.
Lucario @ Expert Belt
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Blaze Kick
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- ExtremeSpeed
Lucario is amazing. My favourite pokemon, he is pure bulk and awesomeness in one, and some people even call him a legendary. Able to either be Attacking or Sp Attacking, he can do whatever he wants. Although the blaze kick may seem weird, with his weaknesses being Fighting, Fire and Ground, it seems to have been very helpful in a lot of situations. Close combat is amazing, and ExtremeSpeed is good when the opponent has low health. Earthquake, i'm not really sure. I guess just because it's a very unexpected move to have.
Please can you tell me what I need to change. This includes any items, EV's, natures, moves, and in some cases, abilities.
