Hello RMT forums I am here today to show you the fire team I made. Ok, enough of the introduction. I started with infernape as a physical attacker because he came to mind first when I thought of fire, then I moved on to chandelure whom is a decent special attacker. A warning before the storm, I say the Ev's are self-explanatory because I don't know how to explain them.
Ok, now the team:
Inape (Infernape) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Mach Punch
- ThunderPunch
- Close Combat
- Flamethrower
I sashed infernape because I use him alot on my fighting team and he is pretty decent. I think this set covers alot of ground. Like Thunder Punch for water types like starmie, Close Combat if nothing else was viable, and the rest for fillers. Evs are pretty self-explanatory.
Maggie (Magmar) @ Eviolite
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 212 HP / 252 SAtk / 44 Spd
Gentle Nature
- Focus Blast
- ThunderPunch
- Flamethrower
- Substitute
I chose magmar because I wanted to try an eviolite fire type pokemon. I chose the move set pretty much verbatim from infernape. The Evs are self-explanatory.
Chandy (Chandelure) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Energy Ball
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Dark Pulse
I chose choice scarf chandelure because it is fast and it can do some damage. Plus it outspeeds the massive threat of scarfed medicham(who I also use alongside infernape on my fighting mono). I didn't know a good set for chandelure so I picked what you see before you. The Ev's as stated above.
Hester (Rotom-Heat) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SDef / 248 HP / 8 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Discharge
- Pain Split
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp
I chose Hester here(Rotom-Heat)for an immunity to ground. That's pretty much it.
Ninetales @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Hypnosis
- Substitute
- Extrasensory
- SolarBeam
I chose ninetales because this is a fire team and drought is pretty handy to have. Also it can put volcarona to sleep and 2HKO infernape, or OHKO him if he isn't scarfed.
Forecast (Castform) @ Leftovers
Trait: Forecast
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Energy Ball
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast
And I have castform here for water. That's about the only reason why I chose him. And because he is pretty neat.
That is my team, all pokemon are changeable except for infernape and magmar. I would like to keep those but not necessarily. You guys are the experts and please help me out by doing what you do best: telling me how to fix my team. Thanks for reading this and even more so for helping me.
