So, it has been quite a while since I posted a RMT, but I've been using this one with some moderate success since I got back into battling, so I thought I'd share with everyone. (Note: It's not going to be super comprensive RMT)

241.png

Miltank (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Heal Bell
- Milk Drink
- Stealth Rock
- Body Slam

Probably my favorite NU pokemon. I use it just about all of my NU teams, and other teams that aren't NU, because I just feel like it is that good. Its a standard set, with Heal Bell, Milk Drink, Stealth Rock, and Body Slam. It does what it needs, and it does it well. Not much else to add really.

326.png

Grumpig @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Calm Nature
- Psychic
- Thunder Wave
- Magic Coat
- Focus Blast

A highly under utilized utility wall. This pig has save my ass in more battles then I can comprehend. It's like a psychic Miltank, without Stealth Rock... which is okay, with Magic Coat. It fends off status very well, with Magic Coat, and can dish out the appropriate status to the correct pokemon. Plus, its Psychic is more powerful then I realized. No EVs, and I can still do a hefty amount to most things, thanks to 90 sp.A.

533.png

Gurdurr @ Choice Band
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Facade
- Superpower
- Payback
- Ice Punch

Originally a Fraxure that just wasn't doing anything, I changed to this beast of a 'Mon. I have to say, for a NFE pokemon, this thing isn't a complete waste of space. While the Evo version is better, the Choice Band power throws some people off their game. Though, admittedly, I could change this thing, and I wouldn't mind to much.

479-frost.png

Rotom-Frost @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Blizzard
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Trick

Another commonly used pokemon in NU, and one that, again, can be used effectively in other tiers. It could, without a doubt, be in RU, if more people would give it chance, and look past its ice type disadvantages. Thanks to Trick, and Scarf, this pokemon has outsped, and ruined many of a good pokemon. Sure, Blizzard has that dreaded 70 acc but TBolt/VSwitch let me get this guy out of trouble, if the need arises, without worry. He's a great end of match sweeper, and he handles most everything with ease.

419.png

Floatzel @ Flame Orb
Trait: Water Veil
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Switcheroo
- Ice Punch

Probably the second most underrated water type pokemon, next to maybe Basculin. It is a beast, that handles everything, and is usually, somehow, my last standing pokemon... in most matches. Waterfall, and Aqua Jet are standard on all sets I've made, or seen, and Low Kick in pretty common move, but what makes this guy stand out, is Switcheroo(Trick) and Flame Orb. Thanks to Water Veil, he can't be burned, and thanks to Switcheroo, basically all walls that think they can handle Floatzel are suddenly mistaken. (Especially Evolite pokes, which continue to help me ruin other pokes, by changing the Eviolite to another pokemon.)

Ampharos @ Expert Belt
Trait: Static
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Focus Blast
- Agility

The first pokemon I made for this team, and the last one to be changed in any way. It started as a Cotton Guard set, and after watching a few matches on Youtube, was changed to an Agility set. I love this pokemon, and this set. The only thing I think may change with this pokemon is maybe its Hidden Power, maybe to something like Fire, or Rock(with all the bugs, and ice types that like NU, it may be useful)

Anyways, that's my team. What do you think?

Some Showdown battles: (More may come)
This first one, I happen to be on the far side.

Rotom-freeze is actually PU (you can use him in NU), it is just really good in RU...

Anyways, this seems like a pretty good team. My suggestion is that Grumpig drop toxic for taunt, reflect, or focus blast. Your team appreciates the speed control more than toxic, because your team is balanced/offensive and you don't have Alomomola to waste turns. I guess I would suggest Focus Blast or Reflect as magic coat is redundant with taunt (taunt may be better than Magic coat TBH, but that's up to you), focus blast allows you to deal with Jynx more easily, which is the main point of Grumpig, and also allows you to beat steel types if Grumpig is your last mon. Reflect allows Grumpig to be a superior wall, and allows your sweepers some cushion against physical sweepers.

I think that for Floatzel Ice Punch/Crunch are better than low kick as most things that you want to hit with Low Kick are hit by Waterfall. Ice punch allows you to get past grass types and Altaria easier, while Crunch hits the many ghost and psychic types in NU harder. Plus low kick is unreliable in NU where many mons are lighter.

In NU, Scrappy>Sap Sipper on Miltank, especially since your team isn't all that grass weak.

Good Luck with your team! :toast:

Okay, I'll try Scrappy, Ice Punch, and Focus Blast on the respective 'Mons. See how that works outs.

To be honest, I hardly use Low Kick, or Toxic, so I have no problem switching them out for something better. As for Sap Sipper, it helps a lot with lead butterfrees, Jumpluffs, and other Sleep Powder/Spore Users, and not just grass attacks. Plus, since its an uncommon ability, people don't expect it, or at least that's the way it seems.

First off, you need a Timid nature on Rotom-F. You fail to outspeed +2 Gorebyss otherwise, which can be fatal if Grumpig is weakened. The power difference isn't that big a deal most of the time anyways.

For Grumpig, you really don't need all of Thunder Wave, Magic Coat and Toxic. You can remove one of the status moves (probably Thunder Wave) for Whirlwind. This makes it harder for Substitute users to set up behind a Sub on Grumpig. You can also consider replacing Magic Coat for Heal Bell on Grumpig for a more supportive role, but this isn't necessary with Miltank already doing so. If you do though, this frees up a slot for Miltank to run Earthquake to hit Rock and Steel-types. The ability of Miltank is up to you, though Scrappy looks very helpful for you.

Gurdurr doesn't really need Facade since very few players will actively choose to status Gurdurr in any case. You can replace it with Drain Punch instead for a more reliable move than Superpower, as well as for healing. You can consider Iron Fist as well, though Guts has its benefits too.

As mentioned above, I dropped Toxic for Focus Blast, and I prefer Magic Coat personally. (I didn't update the actual RMT though)

Timid would probably be more useful, but to be honest I haven't actually run into any Gorebyss at all, so that's probably why I didn't think about it.

And I'm actually thinking of replacing Gurdurr completely. He's not working like I hoped he would. Though I'm not sure what to change him into.
