Draco Meteor is Naganadel's strongest move, allowing it to OHKO a large number of Pokemon such as Cinderace, Pheromosa, Zygarde, and Regieleki. Heat Wave OHKOes Life Orb Genesect and Pheromosa and provides spread damage. Sludge Bomb checks Fairy-types such as Tapu Lele, Tapu Fini, and Togekiss. Fire Blast OHKOes Assault Vest Genesect, and it deals significant damage to Celesteela and Metagross. The Timid nature lets Naganadel outspeed Cinderace and Galarian Zapdos.

Naganadel can pair with a variety of Pokemon, as it has relatively few defensive checks. It naturally shores up the weaknesses of many Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Genesect, and Regieleki, since it OHKOes Rillaboom, Cinderace, and non-Haban Berry Zygarde and Kyurem-B. In return, Tyranitar threatens walls such as Incineroar, Indeedee-F, and Togekiss, Genesect deals with Psychic-types such as Indeedee-F, Hatterene, and Tapu Lele, and Regieleki removes Togekiss and Blastoise so they can't redirect Naganadel's attacks. Naganadel also benefits from redirection users like Togekiss and Indeedee-F, since they shield it from single target attacks from the likes of Metagross, Victini, and Volcanion. Choice Scarf Zygarde patches Naganadel's weak matchups against Zeraora, Talonflame, and Heatran and appreciates that Naganadel threatens Tapu Fini, Rillaboom, Genesect, and Ferrothorn. Victini covers most common Psychic- and Steel-types for Naganadel, but it amplifies Naganadel's weaknesses to various threats like Assault Vest Incineroar and Zygarde. Tailwind users such as Talonflame or speed control users, such as Electroweb Zeraora and Regieleki or Icy Wind Tapu Fini, supplement its already incredible Speed, allowing it to blitz by foes such as Pheromosa, Talonflame, and Regieleki. Talonflame + Regidrago threaten Naganadel together, but potential partners Tapu Fini and Diancie shut this strategy down.

Choice Scarf is also a strong option for Naganadel to outspeed and OHKO checks such as Regieleki, Pheromosa, and most other Choice Scarf users. However, without Protect, Naganadel is vulnerable to Fake Out and is more easily punished for incorrect predictions. Helping Hand is also an option to support partners such as Choice Scarf Zygarde, allowing it to OHKO Cinderace, Naganadel, and Kyurem-B. Offensive moves are usually more useful, however.

Checks and Counters
==================

**Redirection**: Naganadel is frail, and most common redirectors like Blastoise, Indeedee-F, and specially defensive Togekiss can survive any attack from it, after which the other foe is free to OHKO Naganadel.

**Faster Pokemon**: Pokemon that outspeed Naganadel such as Pheromosa and Choice Scarf users such as Zygarde and Landorus-T reliably OHKO it. In addition, Regieleki and Zeraora outspeed Naganadel and can use Electroweb to decrease its Speed.

**Heatran**: Naganadel lacks any way to significantly damage Heatran due to its typing and ability Flash Fire.

**Special Walls**: Porygon2, Cresselia, and Diancie all take very little from any of Naganadel's attacks. Additionally, Porygon2 and Diancie can set Trick Room for a partner, and Cresselia can set up with Calm Mind and has speed control with Icy Wind and Trick Room.

Paragraph 1:
Naganadel's role in 2v2 Doubles comes from its high Speed tier, good coverage, ability, and Special Attack stat. All of these coupled together make it capable of pairing with essentially any teammate and dealing with almost any foe. Draco Meteor is Naganadel's strongest move, allowing to OHKO a large number of Pokemon such as Cinderace, Pheromosa, Zygarde, Regieleki, and Kyurem-B little need to run chople now Heat Wave is an important move to Naganadel, allowing to OHKO Life Orb Genesect and Pheromosa specifiy the conditions for this, Phero can just Beam this dealing damage to their partners and ignoring redirection to boot. Fire Blast gives Naganadel a way to OHKO Assault Vest Genesect, and deal significant damage to Celesteela and Metagross, whereas Sludge Bomb gives it a secondary STAB option as well as a good answer to Fairy-type Pokemon such as Tapu Lele, Tapu Fini, and Togekiss. 252 Special Attack EVs give Naganadel the highest damage output, while still utilizing 252 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature to outspeed as many Pokemon as possible, threats including Cinderace and Zapdos-G.

Naganadel's combination of Special Attack, Speed, and coverage make it a fantastic partner for almost every Pokemon in the metagame, as its number of defensive checks is relatively low. It naturally shores up the weaknesses of many Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Genesect, and Regieleki.What do these do back for Naganadel? Mention how TTar breaks Heatran, Gene takes Lando and Zygarde if not yache, and Regieleki beats Blastoise Naganadel is strong when paired with redirectors such as Indeedee-F and Togekiss, since they give Naganadel free turns with Follow Me examples which redirection helps Nagandel KO specific Pokemon is otherwise couldnt. Tailwind users such as Talonflame or speed control users such as Electroweb Zeraora and Regieleki or Icy Wind Tapu Fini supplement its already incredible Speed, allowing it blitz by foes such as Pheromosa and Regieleki. yes and no, give other examples outside regieleki since if you pair fini/regi with naga, you still completely lose the matchup since it just clicks Tbolt a couple times and then your speed control is dead. This however is still correct for Phero which is a nice mention

Although not ranked fairly high its worth a mention
-Weavile as it obliterates grounds and gets rid of Haban Kyurem-B while just breaking through Yache/Haban Zyg
-Victini breaks through everything lol
-Scarf Zygarde breaks Heatran and deals with Zera/Talon

Choice Scarf is also a strong option on Naganadel. This allows it to outspeed and OHKO its checks such as Regieleki, Pheromosa, and most other Choice Scarf users. While losing out on the damage granted by Life Orb is not ideal, the Speed boost allows it to run a Modest nature, which helps it regain some of that lost power. The ability to run four offensive moves in Draco Meteor, Sludge Bomb, Fire Blast, and Heat Wave is not to be underestimated. In addition, due to using a Modest Nature, Choice Scarf Naganadel's Beast Boost ability will increase its Special Attack stat instead of Speed. true but the sad reality is that you usually click only once with Naga Without Protect, Naganadel is vulnerable to Fake Out and is more easily punished for incorrect predictions. Mention Helping Hand if pairing with a fire type or zygarde since it allows Zyg to kill Cinder with Tarrows and opposing Naga, while Scale Shot to beat Haban Kyu

Checks and Counters
===================

**Redirection**: Redirection is threatening to Naganadel, as it will move faster than most partners that could OHKO the redirector, forcing it to use Protect. Redirection allows the opponent to use their other Pokemon to KO Naganadel, as it cannot OHKO Indeedee-F nor Togekiss.

**Faster Pokemon**: Pokemon that are naturally faster than Naganadel such as Pheromosa and Barraskewda another example, as well as Choice Scarf users such as Zygarde and Landorus-T are able to reliably threaten and OHKO Naganadel due to its middling bulk. In addition, Regieleki and Zeraora are able to outspeed Naganadel and use Electroweb to decrease its speed. Keep in mind that if you are using teammates such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, you can end up OHKOing your own Naganadel with Earthquake.

**Heatran**: Naganadel lacks any way to deal significant damage to Heatran due to its typing and ability Flash Fire.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Mention P2 and Blastoise - they just eat up Nagas move while blastoise can icy wind or p2 can TR
