Hey people. I've read the RMT section a lot of times and now I'm going to be posting here! I honestly don't know what to classify this team as (Hyper Offensive, Balanced, etc.) cause I'm never good at that lol. Anyways, this is a classic OU team I made a little while back, and I've been testing it a bit. It's doing decent, but I honestly can't seem to find the flaws and tweak it. I know that it needs some changes but I'm struggling to find what I need to change, so some input would be awesome!!

Overview:
:ss/gengar: :ss/ninetales-alola: :ss/heatran: :ss/rotom-wash: :ss/scizor: :ss/urshifu-rapid-strike:

In Depth Analysis:
:ss/gengar:
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Trick

The spotlight of the team. I wanted to build a team around Gengar with screens so that I could setup Nasty Plot easily. +2 Gengar hits like a truck and since you aren't choice locked like the majority of Gengars (which are usually Specs or Scarf), you are able to use different moves without being forced to switch out (obviously after you use Trick). I've even gotten full sweeps with Gengar, being able to setup on many mons. I'm running Sludge Bomb instead of Focus Blast because Clefable is very annoying against this team. I was originally running Tbolt over Trick, and Black Sludge over Scarf, but Scarf helps with speed control and Trick is more useful against a lot of mons more than Thunderbolt is. (After reading the replies I changed this, shoutout to Red Raven )

:ss/ninetales-alola:
Ninetales-Alola @ Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aurora Veil
- Encore
- Ice Shard
- Freeze-Dry

Of course, this mon is for Aurora Veil purposes. I was running Moonblast originally but Encore was useful against a lot of defensive switch-ins. Just a common Ninetales-A set, and I'm not going to ramble on about it.

:ss/heatran:
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 228 SpD / 28 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Magma Storm
- Toxic

It explains itself. I needed a SR user and I chose Heatran. I was running Taunt over Toxic for Toxapex, but I felt like it wasn't much of a problem. Again, this mon explains itself. EVs are from Smogon lol, but I put 4 more EVs in speed to outrun the classic defensive Heatrans.

:ss/rotom-wash:
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
- Defog
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave

Again! This Pokemon explains itself... Its a Defog Rotom with max HP and SpD. I don't need the 88 speed EVs because Adamant Scizor isn't really common nowadays (Again, I used the comments to help with this change). I'm running T Wave for speed control, since this team somewhat lacks speed. Volt Swich is for momentum.

:ss/scizor:
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- U-turn

An offensive Scizor! Creates a VoltTurn core with Rotom and Bullet Punch for priority to revenge kill. Life Orb for maximum power. Its a good teammate for the rest of the team.

:ss/urshifu-rapid-strike:
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- Aqua Jet
- U-turn

Another U-turn user! Urshifu is good for opposing Heatran, Volcarona, Ttar, Excadrill, and you get the point lol. Its an overused mon and its good. Period. Choice Band allows it to hit hard. At first I used Belly Drum Azu then switched it to CB Azu, but It struggling against faster mons in many scenarios.

Final Thoughts:
I think this team could use a few tweaks and since this is my first RMT post, and I think it could help my future teambuilding skills!! Please lmk if you have any feedback and it would be greatly appreciated! If you made it this far, you're cool ;)

A suggestion:
:ninetales-alola:->:Tapu koko:ATales when the rest of the team isn’t based around hail isn’t great,so I recommend replacing it with Koko.It can still set screens and adds to the VoltTurn core of the team.
:ss/Tapu koko:
Tapu Koko @ Light Clay
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Thunderbolt
- U-turn

Regieleki could be cool too. Fast as heck, can set screens, also can act as speed control or rapid spinner. That also opens moveslot on rotom-w.

Regieleki @ Light Clay
Ability: Transistor
EVs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 Spe
Adamant Nature

- Rapid Spin
- Explosion

and switched rotom's defog for pain split, i'll try now.

Hey there. I'll try to rate this team as best I can. I'll cut the random stuff and get right to the chase

Starting with the two major changes

:scizor: --> :corviknight:

Scizor, especially offensive ones, are not really the best things to use in the tier. You get griefed by Corviknight and relying too much on priority and life orb is not ideal. Not only that, if you run into Zapdos, then yeah you can forget about this thing. Instead, I would recommend using Corviknight as this has great defensive utility in protecting Rotom from Kartana and Rillaboom while still keeping the ability to use u turn. Without Kyurem in the tier, you would be really hard pressed to use even defensive Scizors at all

:urshifu: --> :garchomp:

Urshifu is not really a great veil abuser at all because it's greatest nemesis doesn't hit it directly but rather, makes it kill itself and that is rocky helmet Toxapex. Trigon help you if you click surging strikes right into TankChomp but that's the whole point. Instead, I would recommend you one of the biggest threats under screens, Garchomp. Unlike Urshifu, Garchomp can actually abuse the veil because the stuff that check it such as Weavile or scarf Lele cannot kill it that easily behind veil. While it doesn't have Urshifu's immediate power, the veil would buy it the time it needs to boost up and break thru stuff

Now, for the minor changes

On :gengar:, I would recommend a trick scarf + nasty plot set. This way, Gengar can serve as speed control and if there is a situation where Garchomp cannot easily break thru stuff but can sweep if the opposing team is weakened, then Gengar can ditch the scarf and be the wall breaker. You won't really need thunderbolt as your stab shadow ball is far more spammable. While you will get walled by Bisharp since you will only be running stabs, guess which mon on your team completely destroys Bisharp, Garchomp of course

For :heatran:, I would recommend that you increase the evs on speed to 28 just so you can speed creep opposing Heatrans

On :rotom-wash:, I would recommend that you just max out spdef and drop the speed evs. Those speed evs are for adamant Scizor but as mentioned earlier, Scizor is no longer that common because Kyurem is gone and even if it was common, it would be rare to non existent to find offensive versions. As such, it would be better to just max it out, at least until someone finds something that is common that Rotom needs to outspeed. Finally, change defog --> pain split. This way, you would have pseudo recovery and since I suggested Corviknight, metal birb will take over hazard removal duties

Finally, this change isn't just for :ninetales-alola: but for any pokemon that is weak to stealth rock. DO NOT use 252 HP evs on it. Doing so would result in an even amount of hp for the pokemon in question and thus means that mon would only have two or four switch ins with stealth rock, depending on how weak they are. Instead, only put in 248 HP so that the hp would be an odd number which would round down the hp and thus result in one more stealth rock switch in. If that mon in question does not use hp evs, then just make sure its hp is odd for the reason mentioned earlier

Here is the updated team

Corviknight @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 168 Def / 92 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- U turn
- Body Press

Ninetales-Alola @ Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Encore
- Moonblast
- Freeze Dry
- Aurora Veil

Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpD
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Magma Storm

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Pain Split
- Volt Switch
- Will o Wisp
- Hydro Pump

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Trick
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb

Garchomp @ Leftovers
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Regieleki is really nice, but I get completely walled by Garchomp. Tapu-Koko imo is better in this case since it can run Moonblast, so I prefer Koko over Regieleki.

Koko is pretty good indeed, but when running TBolt, my team is completely walled by Garchomp as I mentioned before. I tried out Play Rough instead of TBolt and its not bad.

Thanks for responding!
I've tried out this set, and it works pretty fine. I really like TrickScarf Gengar as it shuts down stallers and tanks. Secondly, Corviknight is much much better than Scizor. Garchomp is doing fine as well, and I've actually gotten some sweeps with it.

The EV tips you gave were really useful too!
Again, thanks for responding!
