One of RU's old guards from past generations, Rotom-C returns to RU with a new weapon in its offensive arsenal: Nasty Plot! This combined with Rotom-C's excellent typing, solid bulk and Speed, and access to crucial utility moves solidifies Rotom-C's place among the elite of SS RU. Levitate gives Rotom-C an incredible niche as a Ground-immune Electric-type, allowing it to use Volt Switch to pivot and gain momentum for its team without fear of Ground-types switching in, as they will get KOed by Rotom-C's powerful Leaf Storm. Rotom-C's immunity to Spikes and neutrality to Stealth Rock make Defog a great choice in the last moveslot, enabling it to force out some of RU's most common Stealth Rock setters and get a quick Defog off. Alternatively, Rotom-C can run Will-O-Wisp to keep dangerous Grass-resistant physical attackers like Toxicroak and Virizion at bay. When partnered with Passimian, which can break common Rotom-C checks like Virizion and Snorlax, the pair form a fierce VoltTurn core, keeping momentum and bringing in their dangerous teammates with ease!
