[SET COMMENTS]

While Skuntank's Special Attack isn't inherently good, Nasty Plot and a decent special movepool help to make it a potent wallbreaker or sweeper. Skuntank's solid bulk and defensive typing can give it several opportunities to set up on common foes, like Gogoat and Choice-locked Indeedee-F, and give it a notable niche over other Dark-type Nasty Plot users like Houndoom and Alolan Persian. Running a special set also allows Skuntank to lure in physical walls such as Tinkatuff and Will-O-Wisp Misdreavus. Fire Blast rounds out Skuntank's offensive coverage to hit remaining threats like Articuno and the previously mentioned Tinkatuff. Tera Ground with Tera Blast can be run instead to hit foes like Camerupt, Raichu, and opposing Skuntank harder, albeit at the cost of being more reliant on Terastallization. Otherwise, Tera Dark is preferred, as it helps make up for Dark Pulse's sometimes underwhelming power. Terastallizing also removes Skuntank's Ground weakness, giving it an easier time against Whiscash and Gabite. Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers both help with Skuntank's longevity, giving it more chances to set up and sweep.

Since Skuntank's Speed is average, it appreciates teammates that can lower foes' Speed such as Sticky Web Masquerain and Thunder Wave Tinkatuff and Misdreavus. Masquerain can also give Skuntank chances to set up thanks to Intimidate and U-turn, as well as Tinkatuff with Encore. Other pivots such as Lumineon and Rotom-F can help bring in Skuntank safely for setup opportunities, especially alongside their support moves in Encore, Will-O-Wisp, and Trick. This can also be accomplished by Memento users such as Alolan Dugtrio. Skuntank pairs well with other setup move users such as Bulk Up Gogoat and Dragon Dance Flapple, being able to wallbreak or clean for one another based on the matchup. Skuntank can also absorb Toxic and Will-O-Wisp for them, while, in return, they help against Ground-types such as Whiscash and Gabite, which can stop Skuntank from sweeping. Pokemon like Raichu and Lycanroc-N can also help lure in and wear down opposing Ground-types throughout the match. Psychic-types like Indeedee-F and Rabsca benefit from Skuntank's matchup against foes like Misdreavus and physical Skuntank. Furthermore, Indeedee-F's Healing Wish can give Skuntank a second chance to sweep, while Psychic Surge hinders Honchkrow's Sucker Punch and Spidop's First Impression. Finally, entry hazard setters such as Gabite and Carbink can help wear down foes for Skuntank and appreciate it removing Toxic Spikes.

While Skuntank's Special Attack isn't inherently good, Nasty Plot (Would mention its solid coverage on the Special side too) helps to make it a threatening wallbreaker or sweeper. Skuntank's solid bulk and defensive typing can give it several opportunities to set up (On Pokemon such as?) and gives it a notable niche over other Dark-type Nasty Plot users like Houndoom and Alolan Persian. Running a special set also allows Skuntank to lure in physical walls such as Tinkatuff and Will-O-Wisp Misdreavus. Its offensive typing makes for great neutral coverage (Would personally mention what it threatens with its STABs), with Fire Blast rounding it out for remaining threats like Articuno and the prviously mentioned Tinkatuff. Tera Ground with Tera Blast can be run over Sludge Bomb to hit foes like Camerupt and opposing Skuntank harder, albeit at the cost of being more reliant on Tera, losing secondary STAB, and missing out on targets such as Dachsbun. (Since we are slashing now, your going to have to rewrite this part. Maybe something along the lines of "with Fire Blast allowing Skuntank to threaten threats like Articuno. However, Tera Blast with Tera Type Ground can be opted instead, allowing Skuntank to hit foes like x and y at the cost of being more reliant on Tera.) Otherwise, Dark is the preferred Tera type as it helps make up for Dark Pulse's sometimes underwhelming power. Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers both help with Skuntank's longevity to give it more chances to set up and sweep. Timid nature allows Skuntank to outspeed a handful of threats such as Masqurain and non-Choice Scarf Lycanroc-Midnight to give it an easier time sweeping, although Modest nature can be run for more power. (This is fairly niche and anyways Skunk should be Timid 95% of the time)

Since Skuntank's Speed is average, it appreciates teammates that can lower foes' Speed such as Sticky Web Masquerain and Thunder Wave Tinkatuff and Misdreavus. Masquerain can also give Skuntank chances to set up with Intimidate and U-turn as well as Tinkatuff with Encore. Other pivots such as Lumineon and Rotom-Frost Rotom-F can help bring in Skuntank safely for setup opportunities, especially alongside their support moves such as Encore, Will-O-Wisp, and Trick. This can also be accomplished by Memento users such as Alolan Dugtrio. Skuntank pairs well with other setup move users such as Bulk Up Gogoat and Dragon Dance Charizard, being able to wallbreak or clean for one another based on the matchup. Both also help against Ground-types such as Whiscash and Gabite, who can stop Skuntank from sweeping (If your going to mention Ground-types i would mention another Setup move user other than Charizard since it does not really help into these two. Also, Mention somewhere how Skunk can absorb Toxic and Will-O-Wisp for Gogoat). Pokemon like Raichu and Lycanroc-Midnight Lycanroc-N can also help lure in and wear down opposing Ground-types throughout the match. Psychic-types like Indeedee-F and Rabsca benefit from Skuntank's matchup against foes like Misdreavus and physical Skuntank. Furthermore, Indeedee-F's Healing Wish and Rabsca's Revival Blessing (Dont run this) can give Skuntank a second chance to sweep while Psychic Surge Psychic Terrain and Trick Room can help it get around priority moves and faster threats, respectively. (Skunk isnt rlly slow enough for it to use TR correctly so i would remove this. Also can you add examples of what Prio Skunk is scared of? Cant rlly think of any off the top of my head, if you cant name any just cut this part imo) Finally, hazard setters such as Gabite and Carbink can help wear down foes (Such as?) for Skuntank while both appreciating it removing Toxic Spikes.
