Hi guys, here i want to show you the best possible mono poison team that can you do in pokemon's world.
Let's start with some statements: i know that this team can't be perfect and competitive in high ladder,i just do it for fun because poison is one of my favourite types and i wanted to mix the monotype tier with balanced hackmons which is my favourite one.Unfortunately BH this gen is not so funny because of the limited choice of pokemon so i have had this idea when i noticed the birth of this new tier xD,i hope you enjoy it.
Well,let's see the team
First impressions
As every mono team,mono poison has two main weaknesses: psychc and ground so we are forced to be exposed to these attacks,however this team is really balanced and full of momentum moves like U-turn,Flip turn and teleport,which help the two main wall breakers to do a lot of damages.
The Team

Eternatus @ Black Sludge
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Spectral Thief
- Core Enforcer
- Teleport
- Recover
With this set is one of the best phisical defensive pokemons,he can take easily any physical attack of course he sucks from mewtwo x which is the main counter of my team,obviously cause of his type.Talking about the set we have core enforcer which is probably his best stab than can be useful against poison heal abusers or prankster pokemons,at least he can do 2/3 OHKO to Zygarde complete which is really annoying to defeat.Teleport,as i said before, helps for momentum,Recover or any healing move are necessary for him and as 4th move i decided for spectral thief which be always fine against setuppers (even if can t hit normal pokemons such as Arceus or Regigigas!)

Beedrill-Mega @ Choice Band
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab/High Horsepower/Bolt Beak
- Ice Hammer
- V-create
Thanks to its great Speed and impressive Attack,helped by the choice band, mega beedrill is able to pressure two of the best offensive threats of the metagame, Mega mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y. STAB U-turn can help keep momentum away from the opposing team.Poison Jab could be always useful as his main stab,but you can replace it with high horsepower or precipice blades,just to improve the coverage against fire or steel types.Ice hammer can OHKO Zygarde C which is one of the most bulky pokemons of the metagame,especially for my team,and then V-create against bulky steel types such as registeel or zamazenta C

Gengar-Mega @ Spooky Plate
Ability: Dazzling
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tail Glow/Quiver Dance
- Judgment
- Spore
- Secret Sword
I really like this set,because its perfect to counter imposter chansey or blissey.Dazzling allows my gengar to avoid triage abusers or refrigerate/pixilate fake out/extreme speed users.Unfortunately i had to replace Shell smash,which is banned, with Tail glow and this is not a good news,i know that +3spa atk allows my gengar to do crazy damages against everyone,but it makes him slower and therefore vulnerable to mewtwo x and mewtwo y which almost counter my entire team,i thought to quiver dance too,but im not particularly sure about the damages,at least spore can be tricky or i suggest baneful bunker as 4th move.

Aaand here we have my secret love(omg how much can i hate this pokemon
)...nevermind,Everytime you build a balanced hackmons team you always need a prankster to have a solid answer against every setupper,and toxapex is surely the best poison one,he's another great physical defender,thats why i gave him body press,but i also suggest utility moves such as encore or destiny bond which can be always unexpected,then recover as always and flip turn the perfect stab which increase the team's momentum.

Back to the first gen,another utility pokemon for this team,i need Venusaur because he's the only one that can survive against ground moves with his grass type.Not the best ability maybe,but i choice that mainly for two reasons: to allow the team to resist better against eartquake or any ground terrain move and to give some cheap healing every turn to all my team,well in general could be a "stall"motivation,i put toxic thread over toxic because it drops the enemy speed and then worry seed to have another answer against poison heal,which is one of the strongest abilities in my opinion,could be particularly good against xerneas which cannot be hitten by eternatus core enforcer.

Muk-Alola @ Dark Memory
Ability: Ice Scales
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Careful Nature
- Spectral Thief
- Multi-Attack
- Recover/strenght Sap
- Rapid Spin
And last but not least Muk alola which is my special wall in this team,he's essential to completely avoid psychc attacks even if he's not so good in terms of the others stats,he can be threated mainly by mewtwo x but also primal groudon or zygarde complete.About the item i decided for a dark memory just to have a counter play against normalize dragapult or gengar otherwise my team can completely outplayed by that strat,then i decided for spectral which is always fine and then rapid spin just to have a mon that removes the hazards
