Tournament National Dex Invitational - Round 9 (Losers Finals)

National Dex Invitational II

Welcome to the National Dex Invitational! Back in 2022, we hosted our first and only invitational to date with ChrisPBacon coming out as the winner. Like the prior invitational, players were selected based upon achievements, experience, and playing ability by a council consisting of myself, Isza, and Kyo . This tour will be double elimination with a best of 3 wins format. Each round will last 1 week (barring r1), and we will have randomized seeding for the first round to determine all matchups going forward. There is a cash prize for top placements. Prize distribution will be $200 USD to the winner, $100 to the runner up, and $50 each to the semi finalists, courtesy of Isza and Kyo.

Specific Rules

- Replays are mandatory
- Matches must be played on PS/SmogTours
- Tiering changes will only affect the subsequent rounds
- Format will be gen9nationaldex
- Best of 3, double elimination

Throughout the many trials and tasks this tournament, to the taking down of his dear friend Adriyun as well as striking down the formidable NDPL champion Suzuya, our favorite jellybellied hero awaits his final match.

In his mind, many things course; the friends he has to avenge are many, the people he has to satisfy are bountiful, and the money must be obtained for a subscription to a favorite website of his.

He looks into the eyes of both potential opponents. No fear, no regrets, no second thoughts. However, he is quite conflicted on what his fourth dinner shall be. Perhaps some chocolate mousse?

All will be decided next week. For now though, Seth along with GCN takes a rest and watches Suzuya and Weaselfie duke it out; presumably on the weekend. There are no more jokes to be entertained. It is the beginning of the end.
