Congrats, adem! Back to back, keep up the pace!

Now, Cycle 13...

Victini is a great option in HO teams in which it uses Final Gambit to take rid of a member of the opposing team thanks to its great HP Stat and a Choice Scarf. However, it's movepool is so large and it's time to show off your building creativity. Who will create the best and winning set this cycle?
Good luck everyone!

Victini @ Normalium Z
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Expanding Force
- Celebrate
- Thunderbolt
- Fire Blast

Thunderbolt and Fire Blast cuz the better ones are incompatible with celebrate and thunder is still does not have good accuracy, even with victory star :c

TRICK ROOM VICTINI

Victini @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Electrium z / Icium z / Fightinium z / Psychinium z
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Brave Nature
- Trick Room
- V-create
- Power-Up Punch
- Bolt Strike / Glaciate / Zen headbutt

I got idea for this set from gen 7 ou, someone used to peaked top 3 sm ou ladder using this set. This victini set can surprise many team in ladder because when the last time you saw trick room victini lol. Trick room is nice with move vcreate because each time you use vcreate your speed will drop.
Power up punch is for increase attack while also hitting heatran and tyranitar. For last moves ,you can use bolt strike to hit water type such as tapu fini and slowbro, glaciate is mainly for landorus and garchomp and lastly zen headbutt is for stab. This set is underrated wincon against HO, as its fire-electric coverage and high power is enough to sweep with four turn of trick room.

Recommendation :
You could pair victini with tapu lele because psychic terrain can be abuse by victini to increase zen headbutt damage and to avoid priority moves. You also could try something fun like pairing this set with torkoal because victini appreciate sun from torkoal to abuse vcreate and torkoal appreciate trick room from victini to abuse eruption.

CHOICE BAND VICTINI
:ss/victini::choice-band:
Victini @ Choice Band
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- U-turn
- Zen Headbutt/Trick

DESCRIPTION:
I’m surprised this set isn’t mainstream, but Choice Band Victini is a formidable wallbreaker that is capable of 2HKOing almost everything in the tier. The Choice Band set has an advantage over the typical Choice Scarf set because it denies any Pokémon to be able to switch in on Victini. Typical threats such as Garchomp, Tyranitar and bulky Water-types now cannot switch into twice without healing. The item is also beneficial as Victini boasts adequate coverage moves that can cover types that resist its Fire typing. Victini’s primary attack is its magnificent 180BP signature move, V-Create, where in combination with a Choice Band, is one of the hardest-hitting unboosted attacks in the tier. Bolt Strike works excellent in combination with V-Create, as it baits Water-type Pokémon to switch into a resisted Fire attack. For example, the dominant Defensive Water Pokémon, Tapu Fini, Toxapex and Slowbro will be 2HKO’ed by a Choice Banded Bolt Strike. Moreover, U-turn becomes a hard-hitting move that most offensive Pokémon do not appreciate switching in on either. U-turn has the potential to deal massive damage to most Pokémon that resist Fire, such as Tyranitar, and ultimately generating momentum for Victini’s teammates. Zen Headbutt is a safer STAB attack that does not come with Stat drops, which is a great choice for Victini if the Speed drop from V-Create puts it in a vulnerable position. On the other hand, Trick is an option to cripple physical walls and pressure the opponent to switch in walls such as Gastrodon, Rotom-Wash and Heatran. However, losing Victini’s Choice Band limits its ability to act as a brutal wallbreaker. One disadvantage that Choice Band Victini faces over the Choice Scarf set is that the V-Create Speed drop is detrimental, allowing Victini to be unlikely to outspeed the opponent again and will need to switch out. This puts Victini in a situation where Stealth Rocks can stop Victini from switching in and dealing immense damage constantly.

CALCULATIONS:
:tapu-fini: 252 Atk Choice Band Victini Bolt Strike vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tapu Fini: 232-274 (67.4 - 79.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Victini @ Expert Belt
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Bolt Strike
- Glaciate
- V-create
- Energy Ball / Focus Blast

Expert Belt is an amazing item on Victini, as it exploits Victini’s amazing coverage options to nuke nearly the entire tier at least neutrally.
Bolt Strike hits Waters bar Gastro, Rotom Wand Pert, Glaciate nails grounds and Dragon types like Gliscor, Lando T and Garchomp. VCreate is its main Stab move, and nails the Steels and hits Grasses harder. Energy Ball can be used to hit Gastro, Swampert and Rotom Wash, while Focus Blast can be used to nail Heatran. This set is extremely hard to pivot into, but it trades in the ability to be immune to hazards.

So there's a tie between :expert-belt: Expert Belt 4A :expert-belt: and :choice-band: Choice Band :choice-band:, so I will give you 24 hours from now to vote between these two.

Meanwhile, next cycle here!

Tangrowth is a great wall that can run either Assault Vest to switch in special attackers such as Greninja and Tapu Koko or use a physically defensive spread to be one of the most annoying physical walls, as well as having utility options in a wide variety of forms. However, it also has decent offensive stats in a base 100 Attack and 110 Special Attack, as well as other unexplored utility. Who will find the best alternative set this cycle? It is up to you I'm afraid...

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Infestation
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain/Knock Off

Tangrowth possesses great physical bulk, an amazing ability and access to a variety of recovery moves. The premise behind this moveset is to trap the opponent with Infestation, leaving them unable to attack due to sleep, then letting them die to residual damage with Leech Seed whilst Tangrowth restores to full health. Giga Drain is for racking up more damage, but Knock Off is a good alternative to remove items like Leftovers to reduce the time taken to Leech Seed stall. Substitute and Protect are other decent alternatives to make Tangrowth extremely difficult to hit and bypass status, but leave Tangrowth to be much more passive, taking longer to knock out opponents. A Bold nature is the best option to make Tangrowth incredibly bulky on the physical side, but an Impish nature with 31 Attack IVs is preferred for a Knock Off set.

The advantage Tangrowth has as a trapper over the popular Magnezone is its great bulk and recovery, but it doesn’t have access to the immediate trapping that Magnezone offers; this still leaves the opponent one turn to switch out if they are familiar with the moveset. Sleep Powder can make this trapping set completely impossible to take down once a Tangrowth counter is defeated. Tangrowth can be useful to trap Pokémon on an unprecedented switch or Pokémon that often stay in on Tangrowth to set up/get up hazards. This includes Landorus-Therian, Melmetal, Kommo-O, Skarmory, Mega Garchomp, Excadrill, Gliscor, Tyranitar, Mega Gyarados and Aegislash.
