Beware of nature's protector! With Power Construct, Zygarde becomes monstrously bulky, letting it set up Dragon Dance and sweep. Thousand Arrows smacks down Flying-types and Levitate users meant to switch into it, making Zygarde hard to check defensively. Many teams are reliant on phazers in opposing Zygarde and Ho-Oh to check Zygarde, but its own Dragon Tail phazes them first. Substitute shuts down status users such as Ho-Oh, since many have no hope of breaking through Zygarde's Substitutes in one hit, and Zygarde can even use the threat of Coil to set a Substitute up on offensive Pokemon. The EV spread lets base Zygarde tank Ice Beam from defensive Arceus formes and lets +1 Zygarde-C outspeed Eternatus. Tera Ground provides an important power boost to KO foes such as Marshadow, and removing some of Zygarde's weaknesses allows it to flip some matchups in its favor, such as against offensive Eternatus. Because Zygarde isn't adept at being the primary answer to foes such as Marshadow and offensive Primal Groudon, defensive teammates such as Arceus-Fairy and Giratina-O are great for providing a defensive backbone.

Enemies beware nature's protector! With Power Construct, Zygarde becomes monstrously bulky, letting it set up Dragon Dance and sweep. Thousand Arrows is a Ground-type move that smacks down Flying-types and Levitate users. Dragon Tail stops setup sweepers such as opposing Zygarde and thwarts phazing attempts. Substitute stops status, turning many defensive Pokemon into setup fodder. The EV spread lets base Zygarde tank Ice Beam from defensive Arceus formes and lets +1 Zygarde-C outspeed Eternatus . Tera Ground provides an important power boost to KO foes such as Marshadow and Taunt Arceus formes and makes Zygarde even harder to KO by removing many of its weaknesses. Zygarde's combination of moves dominate Ho-Oh, one of Nat Dex Ubers' most influential Pokemon. This Zygarde isn't effective at fulfilling its traditional defensive roles, and can be overwhelmed by offensive Pokemon like Marshadow and Yveltal Primal Groudon Yv has a pretty good matchup v both sets but this Zygarde set doesn't like Pdon very much, making defensive teammates such as Ho-Oh and Arceus-Fairy great at patching up this weakness.

When I was discussing the Arceus formes earlier I meant more Taunt Arceus formes shut down Coil Zygarde and DD Zygarde can beat them if it DD's on the switch (+1 216+ Atk Tera Ground Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Arceus-Dark: 224-264 (50.5 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO).

Another common scenario that might work a little better given the character limit if you want an example of how Tera helps it offensive Eternatus (Tera to surive Draco as it DDs and then OHKOes w +1 TA)

A decent example of it nullifying counterplay which comes up incredibly often is Zygarde subs as Primal Groudon is scared out then Dragon Tails to prevent Ho-Oh from phasing it. <-- If you have room b/c the power + inability to phase it is what makes it so hard to handle defensively.

Substitute shuts down status users such as Ho-Oh, since many have no hope of breaking through Zygarde's Substitutes in one hit, and Zygarde can even use the threat of a Coil to set a Substitute one up on offensive Pokemon.
