Nature's Wrath - RMT

Intro

Well, I was thinking, I like Sandstorm Teams and Hail Teams, because they utilize a certain condition to enhance they're abilities to go beyond what it could be before. The downside to them? They're whether going away. So I was just writing down some ideas for a team, and I thought "I wanna utilize wheather in all aspects to throw teams off balance", and in the process of that, this team was created. So come with me to see how powerful nature really can be:

A CLOSER LOOK

jirachi.png

@ Damp Rock
Bold - Serene Grace
252 Hit Points - 80 Defense - 176 Special Defense
Rain Dance
Thunder
Water Pulse
Wish

Starter. Rain Dance does ALOT for just him, making Thunder 100% accuracy (with an awesome 60% Paralize chance) and pumping up Water Pulse's power (and the 40% confusion rate doesn't hurt either), it also makes fire moves NEUTRAL damage! Yay lol. Wish is to support the team and himself. Overall: Good wall and manipulates the wheather if need be.

blissey.png

@ Leftovers
Bold - Natural Cure
56 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 200 Special Attack
Fire Blast
Softboiled
Solarbeam
Sunny Day

Hehehehehe. Sunny Day gives me another direction with wheather, along with pumping Fire Blast's power even MORE, along with giving her an awesome Grass attack with huge base power. Softboiled is just there to live lol. A very nice surprise for the opponent lol. Thunder Wave is excluded for more attack coverage + Jirachi can do it pretty well anyway.

kingdra.png

@ Life Orb [Considering Mystic Water]
Naughty - Swift Swim
168 Attack - 88 Speed - 252 Special Attack
Draco Meteor
Dragon Dance
Return
Waterfall

This is another benificial to Rain Dance, I excluded Rain Dance itself since I don't wanna over do it, so Dragon Dance is even better in this case, making Kingdra NOT dead weight once Jirachi dies. Draco Meteor to nail physical walls that come in and Return/Waterfall for respectiable coverage (plus Return is the BEST physical move it has aside from Waterfall). I'm thinking about shifting some more EV's into Attack.

tyranitar.png

@ Choice Band
Adamant - Sand Stream
252 Hit Points - 252 Attack - 4 Special Defense
Crunch
Earthquake
Pursuit
Stone Edge

Yet another shift in wheather, this time automatic. Choice Band Tyrantar is a BEAST. Switch in to kill something I want dead, also gives me the Sandstorm effect.

abomasnow.png

@ Choice Scarf
Hasty - Snow Warning
252 Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Special Attack
Blizzard
Earthquake
Focus Punch
Wood Hammer

~HE IS CURRENTLY BEING REPLACED FOR EXEGGUTOR~

The final wheather pattern, and again, a good one lol. Choice Scarf to make this a hard hitting poke to add to that! The moveset is quite explainitory.

salamence.png

@ Leftovers [Considering Wide Lens]
Bold - Intimidate
216 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 40 Speed
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Hydro Pump
Roost

Bulkymence. Fire Blast benifits from the sun while Hydro Pump is good in the rain. Draco Meteor just because it's that good lol. Roost is to keep it alive to keep going.

Considering
exeggutor.png

@ Life Orb
Modest - Chlorophyll
252 Special Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Attack
Explosion
Hidden Power - Fire
Solarbeam
Sunny Day

This is being considered over Abomasnow since Mr. Snow just isn't doing like I thought he would. Makes a powerful Special Sweeper under the sun with STAB Solarbeam and Boosted HP Fire. Explosion to kill those Blisseys.

floatzel.png

@ Leftovers
Adamant - Swift Swim
72 Hit Points - 252 Attack - 64 Defense - 104 Special Defense - 16 Speed
Crunch
Ice Fang
Rain Dance
Waterfall

EV's are standard, doesn't even need any Speed EV's to outspeed everything in the rain but 16 outspeeds Adamant Heracross before Dance. The rest is put into defenses so that he can take a hit and live to attack after the dance, that's also why I opted for Leftovers > Life Orb. Set is standard. This is one of the pokemon being considered over Kingdra, it has a much higher Speed AND Attack than Kingdra.

omastar.png

@ Life Orb
Modest - Swift Swim
252 Special Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Defense
Ice Beam
Hidden Power - Electric
Hydro Pump
Rain Dance

Hidden Power - Electric to make BoltBeam coverage with a huge base power Hydro Pump comming off Rain Dance with even more power. Life Orb to just hit harder. This is one of the pokemon being considered over Kingdra, it presents higher Special Attack and Defense, while still being able to function well.

Conclusion

Just made it, very rough sketch right now. I'm absolutly LOVING the idea of it, sorry if that's just n00b-ish or whatever but I find this concept very interesting and that is SHOULD be exploited, I see potential.

Thanks for reading all my ranting lol,

First off, you have 3 Fighting weak, which is always bad.

Secondly, multiple weather team don't work well, since they contradict each other. For example, you switch in Blissey and take one turn to set-up Sunny Day. The opponent can take that turn to switch in Infernape, which will get a boost from the sun. Now, if you switch in anything else, you'll ruin your strategy with Blissey.

Rain Dance and Sunny Day teams set up the weather and keep it there for a long time to profit the whole team. Your team members contradict each other by working totally opposite strategies. Stick to mono-weather (or 2 weather at most) teams.

I'm aware of that. That's what makes making this WORK fun! Making 4 things that countdict each other WORK together? Now THAT'S a challenge, and that's what I'm gonna go for. I've posted it here just to see if any of you guys can help me with it.

Exeggutor over Blissey is another option to have a fighting resist, along with Chlorophyll + Solar Beam + Sunny Day + Hp Fire is pretty fun too! Exeggutor can also have psychic to counter that Infernape mentioned before. If you were going to use it I would suggest a Life ORb for even more damage from an already high SpA stat. It might not be able to wall as much but it has more attacking power and can outspeed many things with Chlorophyll and Sunny Day.

I would go with Wide Lens in my opinion just to avoid as much hax as possible and with Roost, leftovers won't be that significant.

Abomasnow is confusing as it doesn't go along with you team. I would stick to 3 weather types even though you want all four, just because it might be sucessful if you had 3 and a poke to abuse Sandstorm.

Omastar is an option over Kingdra, now that Garchomp is Uber and Kingdra won't be needed to counter it. It has higher Special Attack than Kingdra and LO Hydro Pump is powerful under rain.

Anyways, probably my only positive comment was Exeggutor lol but any other pokemon that has an ability that abuses weather, Chlorophyll, Swift Swim, etc. would be helpful. I love Salamence that has different weather moves! Fun team and I enjoy seeing it in the future!

I like the Exeggutor idea, just...that leaves me without a good Special Wall..=/ will try it out though for sure, also I've noticed that Abomasnow isn't as helpful as I thought before I played with it...so I probably will take him off too...maybe for Exeggutor! lol idk yet...also Omastar will be considered as well.

jirachi.png

@ Damp Rock
Bold - Serene Grace
252 Hit Points - 80 Defense - 176 Special Defense
Rain Dance
Thunder
Water Pulse
Wish

Try U-Turn in place of Water Pulse for scouting.

Starter. Rain Dance does ALOT for just him, making Thunder 100% accuracy (with an awesome 60% Paralize chance) and pumping up Water Pulse's power (and the 40% confusion rate doesn't hurt either), it also makes fire moves NEUTRAL damage! @ Leftovers
Bold - Natural Cure

Flamethrower [I'm considering thinking about Fire Blast]
Softboiled
Solarbeam
Sunny Day

Hehehehehe. Sunny Day gives me another direction with wheather, along with pumping Flamethrower [maybe Fire Blast]'s power even MORE, along with giving her an awesome Grass attack with huge base power. Softboiled is just there to live lol. A very nice surprise for the opponent lol. Thunder Wave is excluded for more attack coverage + Jirachi can do it pretty well anyway.

Well, I dont really like the collision in Weather changes, and, your wasting Blissey's talents and wasting 3 of her moves to the sun...It's just not worth it. Use Softboiled/T-Wave/Ice Beam/Seismic Toss or Aromatherapy
kingdra.png

@ Life Orb [Considering Mystic Water]
Naughty - Swift Swim
168 Attack - 88 Speed - 252 Special Attack
Draco Meteor
Dragon Dance
Return
Waterfall

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Do NOT use Mystic Water, Life Orb will boost all your attacks =).

tyranitar.png

@ Choice Band
Adamant - Sand Stream
252 Hit Points - 252 Attack - 4 Special Defense
Crunch
Earthquake
Pursuit
Stone Edge

Yet another shift in wheather, this time automatic. Choice Band Tyrantar is a BEAST. Switch in to kill something I want dead, also gives me the Sandstorm effect.

No need to say anything, this just ruins teams.
abomasnow.png

@ Choice Scarf
Hasty - Snow Warning
252 Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Special Attack
Blizzard
Earthquake
Focus Punch
Wood Hammer

The final wheather pattern, and again, a good one lol. Choice Scarf to make this a hard hitting poke to add to that! The moveset is quite explainitory.

Hehe, I love the uniqueness here. Moveset seems pretty good as it covers alot.

salamence.png

Bold - Intimidate
216 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 40 Speed
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Hydro Pump
Roost

Bulkymence. Fire Blast benifits from the sun while Hydro Pump is good in the rain. Draco Meteor just because it's that good lol. Roost is to keep it alive to keep going.

Although it may be tempting, don't use Wide Lens as it doesn't give you the necessary power to KO certain things. So, use either LO or leftys.

I've decided to keep Kingdra > other Swift Swimm'ers due to the fact that Dragon Dance Kingdra can atleast stand good on it's own once Jirachi dies.

AbsolDeath:

Although U-Turn DOES scout, Water Pulse kills off Heatran/Fire/Ground pokes that like to come in on him, as well as giving him a "paraflinch" touch with confusion.

As for Blissey, I don't see her moveset as "wasted". Ok think about it, standard Blissey runs TWAVE, so what do alot of people switch in? GROUND types (particularly Swampert alot), Sunny Day supports Exeggutor (while i'm using him) and allowing me to KO alot of stuff I couldn't via Solarbeam/Fire Blast.

I only said Mystic Water for Kingdra because Life Orb damage adds up after Stealth Rock/Getting Attacked/etc.

Your comment on Salamence didn't make sense, the Wide Lens isn't to help it KO what it couldnt before (it doesn't increase it's stats so that kinda didn't make sense), it just makes it more consistent.

-Matt

Alright updated some stuff on the team. Added in possible Flotzel and Omastar sets to be replaced over Kingdra, not sure though.

very complicated ideas :|... id like to see how it all comes together in a battle... i also think blissey's speciality is wasted with your moveset for it. interesting concept once again.

Actually no Blissey isn't wasted as muh as y'all say. Ok what are Blissey's common switch ins?

Weavile
Lucario
Heracross
Metagross
Ground Types (Swampert, Hippowden, Dugtrio, etc)
Electirive (for thunder wave)
etc

Ok well Fire Blast NAILS Weavile Lucario Metagross and Heracross (ESPECIALLY in the sun) and is unexpected so that means it'll catch them off guard. Solarbeam NAILS ground types that switch in and Fire Blast can burn Electrivire to make him useless. It's the whole element of surprise really. The main reason I don't use something like Rosarade instead is because I really nee the Special Wall part of her.

without the salamence your team does not handle eq very well... your explanation for the blissey is reasonable and also.... life orb on kindra sounds good and is the 'considering executor' the one that wull replace the amasnow?

Ya I know...Sal is very important lol. Blissey is more of a surprise factor...lol....Kingdra i'm testing both Life Orb and Mystic Water, it's kinda of a w/e thing...both have good pros and bad cons lol, and ya I've pretty much excluded Abomasnow for Exeggutor, only reason I keep snow there is so that people can see how everything started and how it grows through time. I'm also trying a new varient of the team:

jirachi.png

@ Damp Rock
Bold - Serene Grace
252 Hit Points - 80 Defense - 176 Special Defense
Rain Dance
Thunder
Water Pulse
Wish

Starter. blissey.png

@ Leftovers
Bold - Scerene Grace
56 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 200 Special Attack
Aromatherapy
Fire Blast
Softboiled
Thunder

This Blissey's slightly different. Using Fire Blast to nail it's big switch in's while Thunder to hit other stuff like waters. Scerene Grace makes Fire Blast dangerous when used agaist the Physical Sweepers that like to switch in/set up on her while giving her that paralizing she'd get with Thunder Wave via Thunder but with a big base power to go with it. Aromatherapy is to heal the team up while Softboiled is just boiled.

kingdra.png

@ Mystic Water/Life Orb
Naughty - Swift Swim
168 Attack - 88 Speed - 252 Special Attack
Draco Meteor
Dragon Dance
Return
Waterfall

This is another benificial to Rain Dance, I excluded Rain Dance itself since I don't wanna over do it, so Dragon Dance is even better in this case, making Kingdra NOT dead weight once Jirachi dies. salamence.png

@ Wide Lens
Bold - Intimidate
4 Hit Points - 252 Special Attack - 252 Speed
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Hydro Pump
Roost

Very dangerous. Draco Meteor just hits HARD while Fire Blast and Hydro Pump both get pumped in it's respectable weather making it all the more dangerous. Wide Lens to support consistency.

roserade.png

@ Heat Rock
Modest - Natural Cure
4 Hit Points - 252 Special Attack - 252 Speed
Solarbeam
Sunny Day
Weather Ball
Toxic Spikes/Sleep Power/ Hidden Power - Ice

The new Sunny Day setup'er. Heat Rock gives me a full 8 turns of it, Powerful Weather Ball gives me Water OR Fire depending on the Weather (which I can use to my advantage). Solarbeam is extremely powerful STAB. Toxic Spikes gives me alot of support while Sleep Powder helps setup while HP Ice gives me more coverage, not sure, right now I'm testing Toxic Spikes.

exeggutor.png

@ Life Orb
Modest - Chlorophyll
252 Special Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Attack
Explosion
Hidden Power - Fire
Solarbeam
Sunny Day

Makes a powerful Special Sweeper under the sun with STAB Solarbeam and Boosted HP Fire. Explosion to kill those Blisseys.

That's another rough sketch idea, utilizing Rain and Sun...
