Decisions and Announcements for the first iteration of National Dex Blind Draft will be communicated in this thread.

The format for NDBD I is:
- SV NDOU
- SV NDOU
- SV NDOU
- SV NDOU
- SV NDUU
- SV NDRU
- SV ND DOU
- SV NDUBERS
- SV NDMONO
- BO3 (OU, UU, RU)

The teams for NDBD I are:

General Information:
  • Each team will have a minimum of 10 players + 2 subs. Managers start with a 120k budget.
  • The winning team of NDBD will win a Custom Role in the National Dex Discord Server. I will give Discord Nitro to the top three players with the best win to lose record throughout the tournament.
  • Replays will be mandatory throughout the duration of the tournament.
  • Managers may self-buy at a fixed price of 16000.
 
RE: Flex Slots

It was hard for us to personally justify flex slots in a blind draft because teams wouldn’t be guaranteed to draft players they’d prefer for certain tiers without overpaying to guarantee the player. Because flex slots would put a lot more pressure on builders and managers we decided it would preferably be used in a non blind draft format. If this tournament weren’t a blind draft then we would have been more than willing to go forward with a flex slot format.

I wanted to post this because I actually liked the idea of going forward with a flex slot format and fully support it in a future non blind National Dex draft tour.

RE: Roxie
As Roxie hasn't joined the Shamone Sharpedos server and has been inactive for over 1.5 weeks, they will be sold back. Shamone Sharpedos have selected Dorron as their replacement player. Upon further discussion, it has come up that Oculars did not do as much as they should have to get Roxie to join their teamcord and opted to sell him back prematurely without any fault of Roxie's. The sellback still stands but was otherwise baseless, and Roxie will not be stopped from participating in future iterations of NDBD.
