A sad ending to the season. It’s hard to pinpoint just went wrong, everyone worked hard in prep and we I thought we had great chemistry. I just want to individually say something about each of my teammates and helpers since this is my last team tour. I’ll just go in order from the sheet.
Boomenheimer: One of the best teammates I ever had, it’s a shame it ended so soon. Great presence, very experienced and always in high spirits. You always kept us focused on the goal, steering us in the right direction when we were heading off course. I’m really glad I had the opportunity to learn from him.
SPHZ: Not a lot of interactions but you always executed well.
BananaTimeZ: I think NDUbers is a bad tier lol. However, that doesn’t mean this guy wasn’t the goat this season. He really didn’t have any support and he managed to beat the best player in the draft and sustained a respectable record. Huge shout out to you, definitely took me by surprise.
Dabman1069: Another player who really didn’t have much support early on but got his test games in and was very active.
SHSP: Similar to SPHZ where there wasn’t a lot of interactions between us but I know you tried helping out sometimes.
Neko: I didn’t spend any time in mono lol. Nothing negative to say though, you always prepped and kept us updated.
Dead by Daylight/RedGoop: I’ll just include both of you in here. First of all I’m glad you drafted me to this team because it gave me the opportunity to work with some incredible people and of course I’m just grateful to be drafted at all. Dead by Daylight helped support a lot of slots which I know might have taken away from your own time to prep. RedGoop… you’re the goat but we both know you didn’t do nothing I respect you being honest, this tour doesn’t represent your value as a player or manager, if you and isza run it back I know yall will be the ones to win it again. Not a likely manager pairing but you and DBD were both awesome people, so thank you.
Terekusai: I feel like you and Ineros represent the theme of this team. Your record doesn’t reflect your value as a player and your value to the team. I have to say for doubles you were insanely active and motivated to learn. Please, any managers for whatever tour in the future, this guy is one of the best teammates you can ask for. I know your best days are coming soon.
ARTYMASION: Since way back we were paired in SSNL and we never got to play, I became a fan of your game. Always fun to watch and a great guy overall. Seriously one of the nicest people. Anyways, 16k for doubles is obviously crazy lmao but despite that you forced yourself to play tiers you had zero intention of playing. You stuck it out and put in a lot of effort.
Fragments: Not much talking so I don’t know what to say.
Ineros: Last but certainly not least. Like I said earlier, his record does not reflect his value. His work ethic was immeasurable, positive impact on the team and was a major contributor to our OU slots success. I know your best days are still ahead of you, awesome teammate truly.
Supporters: A big issue with our team early on was the lack of support in some slots. I forget whose idea it was, maybe Boomers but we set out and recruited our less active slots some help.
Niadev: The UU Wizard. Literally the best support you can ask for. Your help was really appreciated, I’m sure dabman can attest to that more than me.
Dahness: another late pickup, helped breezai out with tests and again I’m sure he can attests to your support more than me. Thanks for helping.
Don Bork: You supported our team in PL and now again with our BD team. Shame on all the managers who didn’t pick you up, yes allllll of them. Very dedicated in both tours despite the doomed nature of our season/s. Great insight into RU, I haven’t seen you play in truth but I know your support is valuable. Honor again to play with you and thanks for aiding my team a second time.
Frankie: You weren’t super active but I hope you took or take the time as a learning experience. You were very unsure about the whole thing, believing you weren’t worthy lol. You need experience somewhere, seize every opportunity you can and run with it. You still joined, so thank you.
SkillzBP: We didn’t have much interaction but you were there.
Boppydop: I always kinda liked you despite finding you very immature at times. Maybe I see part of myself in you lol. If you are really done with smogon and/or showdown then good luck with wherever life takes you.
Sunrose: goated doubles support. Seriously we were so blessed with how dedicated you guys were and your help in particular was really important. Arty was still getting the hang of the tier and Tere isn’t fully established yet. Truth be told I don’t know much about you but thanks for helping us.
Giyu: I know you joined late as well, not much interaction between us but thank you and your support was appreciated.
EviLo: Ofc I didn’t forget. Thanks for nothing
Some closing words, I wish I had got to play more but this was a team tour for a reason. Play as a team, win as a team and we lose as a team. Fun experience, sorry to my team I wish we had done better. Best of luck to the remaining teams.
