  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • If your opponent does not turn up for the match, you must let your managers know ASAP so they can ping the hosts (BoingK and Kinetic) and the opposing managers in the NDOTSL manager chat and give an opportunity for a sub to be sorted. Without this, the 30 minute act call timer will not be started. If your managers are not around, ping the hosts directly.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

NDLC PREDICTS:
teamo vs Flou
I think Flou is generally more consistent here as with having more results in ndlc and winning ndlc seasonal especially after beating teamo twice it seems like it might be a 3rd time? (though teamo has bleahey helping this time)
EDIT: flou is the #1 pred here so i must bold teamo
LeJames Chonk vs Lialiabeast
Coming off a dominant win vs Greedy_eb in LCPL and NDOTSL week 1 vs rarre, LeJames Chonk is a freak! Lialiabeast is gonna have to fill in for the Slakings against a player like this isn't gonna look too good (also the Slakings didn't draft a NDLC player)
rarre vs Charis_Akins
based off ndlc ssnl they both made it decently far and played well enough to get picked up, my question here though is why would you bench Greedy_eb here, as he is a very good youtuber off a great win vs rarre, I do think however with Greedy_eb's prep, Charis_Akins will be able to scoop the win.
ndlc predicts with a special guest (animal crossing lover 12)
MU #1:
teamo vs Flou
me : both very experienced players at their craft as you can see flou is the last winner of ndlc ssnl while teamo got 2nd, i believe here teamo has more preperations but Flou won the last series between them, +Flou is more consistent and should do a hu tao cosplay
(flou lose this pls)
animal crossing lover 12 : iron sheik is better than hulk hogan so Flou win
MU #2:
LeJames Chonk vs Lialiabeast
me :
They can't play, no disrespect whatsoever but im sorry to come tell everybody the truth. Lialiabeast cannot play the game of NDLC they have small hands they cant catch the ball they got bad feet they cant really move, even though they're mobile, don't really know what they
re doing Doesn't have a postmove that they put to memory that they can do two times in a row,plays no defense, doesnt have the heart the passion or anything that comes with it, and youre asking me wether they gave up too much? Please, the Slacking Slakings knew exactly what they were doing they should be celebrating right now kobe bryant should not be saying a word. (no disrespect but good start to LJC and lialia idk they don't play this much we know what it's gonna be i think)
animal crossing lover 12 : "you too".... " "You're the reason why."
MU #3
rarre vs Charis_Akins
me: ok why do u slot out greedy here he has the youtuber buff though he lost to cooper in lcpl he looks like quaxly which is a pokemon so that's another buff+he won last week because of no trust in greedy_eb the handsome knight i think charis will win
animal crossing lover 12 : i love his youtube videos

BoingK's Awesome Godly Gift Reviews
NB: it is 11pm at the time I am writing this please do not expect quality

The Dragon Master vs AM
:ferrothorn::seismitoad::kyurem-white::mantine::pelipper::crawdaunt: vs :gyarados::victini::raging-bolt::serperior::great-tusk::xerneas:
TDM and AM both bring teams that have since been made illegal - TDM brings a rainspam team featuring Swift Swim Mantine and Seismitoad, while AM brings what looks like a Xerneas offense. The matchup looks fairly explosive, with only Ferrothorn holding the bay doors against threats like Serperior, Bolt and Xerneas that threaten to sweep at the drop of a hat - and naturally, Mantine and Seismitoad are likely to exert a ton of offensive pressure.

AM takes early initiative, trading their Victini one-to-one with the Seismitoad switching in for Pelipper - this is an extremely aggressive play that puts AM ahead. Mantine hits the field but so does Bolt, and TDM is forced to give up more momentum - fortunately the Bolt Thunderclaps on the incoming Ferrothorn. Serp switches in and takes a Knock for its troubles, but the Ferrothorn doesn't want to stay in and TDM switches their Kyurem-White in - it reveals itself to be Scarf and claims the kill on the Serperior. Unfortunately, this allows Xerneas to hit the field and setup a Z-Geomancy, AND a Substitute to boot. The game is over from here as it then is revealed that Ferrothorn cannot break the Sub with one Iron Head.

Xurkiyee vs about15gals
:diancie-mega::araquanid::raging-bolt::calyrex-ice::hatterene::gholdengo: vs :gliscor::dialga-origin::slowking-galar::dragapult::alomomola::rillaboom:
about15gals brings a fairly standard looking Dialga-Origin balance, with Dragapult looking very strong outside of Trick Room. Xurkiyee brings an interesting HTR team featuring Araquanid as its main breaker. The team doesn't look like it'll have problems getting TR up but Araquanid looks like it'll struggle to break efficiently.

about15gals leads Diagla-Origin into Hatterene and doubles out - Trick Room goes up and she brings in Gliscor. Gliscor slow pivots in Alomomola after taking a PsyNoise, and Xurkiyee chooses to switch Araquanid on the incoming Flip Turn. about15gals is again forced to double in Alomomola, what looks like a CB Liquidation and revealing Helmet. After a Protect, Trick Room ends and Alomomola flips to Diagla, which takes under half from the Araquanid's Liquidation - Xurkiyee doubles in Gholdengo, but about15gals has clicked Flamethrower calling it out, and Xurkiyee has no choice but to sac the Gholdengo. Calyrex-Ice now hits the field, setting Trick Room once again. As soon as it does however, Xurkiyee decides to double twice in a row, first to Diancie, and then to Hatterene, wasting precious Trick Room turns, and allowing about15gals to Wish up Dialga to full, undoing most of his progree up to this point. Calyrex hits the field again as Trick Room expires and this time gets a Swords Dance up on the Alomomola switch. Alomomola then flips and at this point about15gals elects to sack Dragapult, her main source of damage. If it's any comfort, Xurkiyee burns his Z to do so, electing Tectonic Rage to try and claim the Alomomola. Dialga hits the field, and Xurkiyee elects to double his Calyrex out, fearing possibly that it dies to a Flash Cannon, Araquanid is sacked to the incoming Draco. Hatterene comes back in and grabs another Trick Room and Dialga leaves - implying it has no Steel STAB. Glowking forces Diancie in, revealing its Mega forme when Mola hits the field. It Spikes and then it Trick Rooms again, but it wants nothing to do with Gliscor and Calyrex is swapped in, extremely fortunate that Gliscor chooses to Defog. Xurkiyee doubles *again* to SpA Booster Raging Bolt as Gliscor U-Turns out to Dialga. Dialga is chunked by the Draco, but fires an Ice Beam back. about15gals then switches her Gliscor in as Bolt tries to Calm Mind - it gets claimed by High Horsepower the next turn. The Calyrex hits the field again and it gets a Swords Dance and a Trick Room up and finally claims the Alomomola, but is very chipped at this point. Thus Xurkiyee is forced to sack his Diancie-Mega over the course of the next few turns, taking Gliscor down with it, but cannot get Hatterene in under Trick Room. Fortunately for Xurkiyee, instead of killing the Hatterene, about15gals elects to Swords Dance up, enabling Xurkiyee to Healing Wish his Calyrex back to full. From here, Trick Room is likely to win the game - however Xurkiyee GLances the Rillaboom and the Dialga, and cannot beat the Glowking one on one.

A 46 turn HTR this week, it felt like Xurkiyee didn't play aggressively enough with the Trick Room turns he had available to him, and that's what cost him in the end. However the week did not feature perfect play from about15gals - I'm particularly surprised by the Pult sack - and neither team made anything groundbreaking in the builder.

Evie vs Nashrock
:skarmory::zygarde::clodsire::urshifu::alomomola::calyrex-ice: vs :walking-wake::arceus-poison::raging-bolt::torkoal::great-tusk::charizard-mega-y:
Once again we see a Calyrex-Ice team, but Evie leans more into its balance archetype, with Skarmory, Clodsire, and Alomomola benefitting from its great stats - it looks on matchup that these three will suffocate the Sun team Nashrock has elected to bring, with the choice of god being Arceus-Poison, which is a slightly niche pick.

T1 Torkoal trades Rocks for a Toxic from Alomomola, and then doubles to Tusk, which reveals Protosynthesis Attack. Skarmory hits the field and takes a Close Combat revealing Rocky Helmet in the process - but Tusk pivots out with an Eject Pack into Charizard on the Defog. Unfortunately for Nashrock,

Bolt hits the field as Alomomola Flips out, and Zygarde comes in. Zygarde Subs twice, and Bolt misses its second Draco, allowing Zygarde to get a Dragon Dance off - Zygarde claims the Torkoal the next turn, before chipping the Tusk greatly. Urshifu-Dark then hits the field, and Walking Wake switches in, taking just over half from the Wicked Blow. It can only Flip out on the incoming Alomomola, which is able to Toxic the Bolt on the next turn as Nashrock tries to read for a potential Clodsire switch. Arc-Poison hits the field and Nashrock doubles to Calyrex-Ice, but Arceus can't significantly damage it and falls to GLance. With Alomomola able to comfortably wall pretty much everything and undo all of Nashrock's progress, there isn't much to be done, and the game has an inevitable conclusion - Nashrock resigns a few turns later.

Nashrock didn't really have a good way past Alomomola - the stupid wish fish was able to come in everytime and just Flip out. Perhaps Nashrock was looking to catch Evie off-guard and reading for a specific matchup, but having no reliable way past Alomomola is pretty poor, surprisingly so given the strength of GG support he has at his disposal.

Predicts!
The Dragon Master
vs Xurkiyee - TDM will be looking to bounce back and has a lot more experience in the tier building and playing-wise, while Xurkiyee doesn't really have anyone other than his manager Concept to back him up

Evie vs AM - This is a tough one to call but AM has sufficient support and is an extremely strong player with some GG experience, hence Evie will need to win in the builder, which is tough to do against a team that features RoFnA and TTTech in the back. Definitely not counting her out though

Nashrock vs Velcroc - The Groudons have amazing GG support options at their disposal to support Nashrock's already pretty good knowledge of the tier and playing skills. Velcroc is one of the best NDOMs players today but doesn't have the same level of GG support available to him
