Rules

• Follow all rules listed here.
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
• Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
• Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
• Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

SV Ubers: taka vs emoxu9 [40 / 60] - Taka playing in the section is happy to see, but I think he needs to be a little more alert about things when he's facing someone like emoxu9 and playing in a tier he's often chose not to play in tours. The tier seems welcoming enough to learn so it's not an entire disadvantage, experience is a very powerful tool though, thus favoring emoxu.
SV OU: hellom vs ojr [50 / 50] - Highlight matchup, hellom with sealoo support is something I've witnessed in WC twice and it rarely disappoints. However, Ryuji's been known to be someone to feed good players with good teams; one of the players in question being ojr. They're like South and French counterparts to each other. It can go either way to me here in my opinion, hellom may have big price and name value, but that doesn't mean ojr can't be able to keep up with him. Tough to decide.
SV OU: sealoo vs Tuthur [60 / 40] - sealoo is National Dex OU.
SV OU: dunoks vs entrocefalo [51 / 49] - An entro that won't put much effort into things as a player makes me want to bold dunoks more, they have similar level support as I mentioned in the hellom vs. ojr matchup but this is a pretty close match due the circumstances I mentioned, even if entro has more results.
SV UU: Axzel vs seraphz [30 / 70] - Axzel been getting a lot of motion on the site which as our favorite Top 500 Lucio in OW2, but in the big NDUU I'm not sure if he'll reach the same level as that. With sealoo around you could make a case, but seraphz is more dedicated to tours and has Seth and Typical_bastard to be efficient in supporting. Don't think it's going to be too close, but I don't doubt Axzel.
SV RU: Micaiah vs FlamPoke [85 / 15] - Two NDBD champions fighting makes me sad, but Micaiah has cemented himself as a terror in most of the tiers he's touched, and NDRU is no exception. FlamPoke went 0-4 in NDRU in BD but did take it as a learning lesson and probably has the motivation to get himself back on track. However, assumptions are assumptions, and if we're being objective Micaiah is the likely winner here.
SV DOU: Terekusai vs Farfromani [60 / 40] - I'm not too qualified to make predictions in Doubles, but Terekusai has more experience and results are around than Farfromani, but both are solid players. Terekusai gets the slight edge.
SV Monotype: Lacks vs crash [45 / 55] - Will not be giving Monotype any prejudice, but both are good players and often use recycled / tweaked teams around. More of an advantage to crash for experience.
SS OU: Luthier vs devin [49 / 51] - Highlight matchup, when it comes to the nitty-gritty devin would slightly come out as the winner in my eyes, but only by a thread. If Luthier wins I will not be surprised at it, though.
SS OU: Zden vs lolebruh [60 / 40] - Solid player all around, lolebruh I'd expect in SV more when it comes to National Dex but he won't slack in SS probably. ZDen is likely better in the format though.

Vice City Victinis (3) vs (6) Always Midnight Absols
SV Ubers: Remnonc vs DripLegend [70 / 30] - Remnonc is a great all-around Ubers player and can easily apply their knoweldge to a tier like NDUB, DripLegend could probably do the same, but I don't rate him on a similar comprehension level when it comes to Ubers as his opponent here. Don't expect it to be easy, but not close either.
SV OU: scish vs Separation [35 / 65] - Despite his controversial background, Scish is a solid player who has something to prove this tournament; having to fight Separation to start that journey is either a lesson or a stepping stone to him. It'll likely be closer than I'm rating it, but on paper Separation should be bolded.
SV OU: Mada vs Nashrock [50 / 50] - The man who swore to not signup versus the man who gives it one last time in the tier. Expect a good fight, will be close.
SV OU: 1yr vs Kyo [51 / 49] - If Kyo can rust off he'll probably win, but 1yr has been more active and up to date with how things work in the tier and isn't a slouch in game.
SV UU: elfuseon vs Micciu [45 / 55] - I don't doubt Elfuseons's abilities in the tier at all, but Micciu had a more consistent run last year compared to his opponent and I'll assume it'll continue here, probably close.
SV RU: salmonelephant vs LBN [49 / 51] - salmonelephant is the hopefully soon-to-be ND Grand Slam winner, and if he goes on to win I'll change this in his favor just for aura alone. LBN can apply himself pretty easily to things and ND as a whole is one of those things; he'll get the slight advantage.
SV DOU: voltix vs Akaru Kokuyo [40 / 60] - Akaru's been gassed up by the Doubles shadow cabal so I'm assuming they do quite well. I have nothing else to add.
SV Monotype: Tarre25 vs Sunnyboi0 [45 / 55] - I view Sunny is a much higher light compared to most other Monotype players since he has both the motivation and knowledge to make himself and whatever team he's on win. Tarre is a strong opponent, but to my knowledge doesn't build himself. Wonder who he'll get teams from?
SS OU: chanseyandlulu vs One Last Kiss [35 / 65] - Mock run demon OLK against a solid player in chansey and lulu will probably lead to the former's victory, they had a fine run in SSNDPL and will likely bet set with Isza support. Third best SS slot in the tour, behind Luthier + DCA and devin + Ryuji.
SS OU: memphisdepay vs 3cho [75 / 25] - 3cho hasn't made a name for himself at all but does have the opportunity to set the stage for his career if he beats MDP. However, MDP...is pretty good. And much more recognizable. If an upset happens I wouldn't be shocked.

SV Ubers: SplendidSilverStar vs bumboclaat [55 / 45] - Runback from the recent NDUB tour SSS won, bumbo didn't want to start I assumed but it seems he's going to put the effort into doing it. I'm only favoring SSS for winning in the past but bumbo has a good chance of winning as well.
SV OU: Ado vs Mollymiltoast [45 / 55] - Ado is a pretty good performer in SV but Molly is a more historically renowed player, think he'll get the advantage here.
SV OU: Fragments vs Tempo di anguria [40 / 60] - Unforutnately Fragments did not sign up to manage (RIP to his predicts) and not sure about his motivation in this tour. Tempo is a good guy but being in a bajillion other tournaments may stack up on some stress and may cause him to perform a little less under what he's capable of; most likely though, la sandia estara bien.
SV OU: avarice vs vk [50 / 50] - Close matchup, I don't have much to provide about what I think about these two.
SV UU: cloudu0 vs Iride [25 / 75] - This may be coughing baby vs nuclear bomb, Iride is a very strong player all across the section and I think she's gonna perform very well in the pool, not sure who's supporting cloudu0.
SV RU: LB vs Rafadude [51 / 49] - LB + db = LBDB = Large Boys Destroy BEverything. Let me know Ineros Slowpoke Fan MirrorSaMa
SV DOU: SeaLife vs tyo [40 / 60] - More familiar with tyo in NDD, an upset is possible though.
SV Monotype: Ashbala vs Bka Onon [45 / 55] - I heard Onon did very well in a recent Monotype team tour, based on that maybe that streak will pass onto here? Let's see it.
SS OU: Stareal vs luuanfps [70 / 30] - I think this has a decent potential for an upset, but Stareal's resume in the tier and playing skills in general outshine luuan despite his recent circuit finals appearance.
SS OU: yonmd vs Tenebricite [49 / 51] - Put that rage you put into cursing me out at 2am into winning yon. Chug some Soylent while you're at it.

Pretty good first week to start, hoping for a good season and to get my bingo card filled out. Let's go GoGoats!
